Paul served a beautiful continental breakfast with five fruits a day - or was it six!!! Beautiful quality along with crusty toast with a well set table with tablecloth. Best library ever!! The bed most comfortable for best sleep. Paul's home cooking was superb, particularly the Lamb Rump with eight vegetables. The location of this home is superb on top of the hill with best views to Mt Wellington and down the Huon River overlooking the lovely bend in the River. Perfect spot to explore the Huon Valley with Apples being harvested, historic towns Franklin, Geeveston, Port Cygnet and Ranleagh with Home Hill Winery and historical Kiln Restaurant and beautiful church opposite. Two kms away is Best Bakery Cafe and new Burger shop in Ranleagh.

Nothing!! All sooooo good!! Paul overheated the rooms for us and couldn't do enough for us. And gave us our privacy.

Our host, Paul was very friendly and accommodating of our pet dog. The location is very quiet and has some superb views from the house and the hill. Excellent hot water in the shower. The selection of fruit and jams with the continental breakfast was very good. The fire in the free standing wood heater was a bonus at this time of year; it actually was a little too warm at times, but I imagine in cooler weather it would be quite cosy.

The sound transfer from the adjoining rooms. The first night the adjoining rooms were occupied by three golfing guests whose banter was clearly heard in our room. The following night the adjoining rooms were vacant and it was very quiet and peaceful.

The location is amazing, it's a short drive across the river from town and up scenic drive, and it is scenic. The views over the river, the valley and Huonville are spectacular. The House is set on a large rural property overlooking the valley. The main living area, complete with a warm fireplace opens out on to a lovely timber verandah, nestled above a lovely garden which offer 180 degree views. It's a lovely spot to soak up the vista, enjoy the visiting Pademelons in the evening, or enjoy a morning cuppa in the sunshine. Paul, our host was great, he's a friendly outgoing bloke. A good conversationlist and wealth of knowledge on the area. He offered some great dining tips which were spot on. When you visit have a chat, let him know what you want to see and he will steer you right and help you get the best experience and stay. The house is virtually 2 homes in one with an accommodation side and Pauls place with the lovely lounge and verandah access down the middle. We stayed in an ensuite room, which was cosy and the bed was really comfortable. There are 4 rooms available but it's set up so if you want quiet and privacy it's your. But if you want to mingle or spend time in the living room you can without disturbing other guests. I thoroughly recommend a visit it's a great spot.

Everything was great

Breakfast was reasonable fruit and yogurt was good egg omelette was yummy but toast was hard and cold. Log fire was very warming and comforting most enjoyable. Visitation of bush creatures at night was a great viewing experience. Good wi fi and great selection of dvd to watch or books to read. Paul a great character very accommodating.

The isolation and long drive up a twisting dirt road. Need to be prepared to bring your own provisions as driving at night could be tricky.

The amazing Paul is absolutely made to be a hostess with the mostness. He is a genuine down to earth gentleman who cares for his guests. Our little family had its first holiday as 4 after welcoming a little girl, and he was nothing but accommodating to us. We are already planning our next visit and have been bragging about the place. The view is absolutely stunning and was so beautiful to sit on the deck with a cup of tea and watch the world go by. Breakfast was served at the time we asked and was delicious.

The breakfast was freshly cooked and adequate. You could get extra items e.g pancakes for an additional price. The view over the surrounding area and river is sensational and the B&B is peaceful and quiet. Paul, the host, is amazing! We arrived up the the slippery, windy road in pelting rain and completely drenched. Even though we hadn't booked dinner in advance, Paul drove down to the town to get ingredients to cook us a hot meal. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and a great sense of humour! It was a pleasure to meet him. The bed was comfy and it was great to be able to borrow books from his collection in the shared living area.

The long, windy and slippery (due to rain) road up the hill/mountain to reach the accommodation.

Breakfast included and our host was very friendly and accommodating. Very chatty. The view from the common family room and outside was scenic and nice if you have time sit and see. Got to see a bit of local wildlife. Good for families and great view.

Small spiders in our beds but you really can't help it considering you're living in a home that's in a scenic farmland area. There's nothing close by walking wise. If you have a car then it's fine.

The host was warm and friendly. The property had a view that you could stare and wonder off in your mind leaving you filled with peace and tranquillity. All you can see for miles is green, gorgeous, uninterrupted valley views. The food was lovely and available on site. The house is situated close enough to the town centre with a generous selection of restaurants available, there is also a IGA,bakery and other facilities close. Situated close to Hobart but in the heart of the Huon Valley it's the best spot to use as a base to stay a few days, getting to discover and visit the tourist attractions of that area!!

That l had to leave!! We are going back it was that perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay and felt well taken care of by Paul. The view is exceptional and tranquility 10 out of 10. In the evenings we enjoyed stoking the fireplace and relaxing in the sitting room. Even though we didn’t end up using it, we appreciated the lovely big barbecue on the deck, which would be great for preparing your own meals. We look forward to visiting again sometime.

The house itself was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were very inviting. Paul is an awesome host. The town centre is just down the road which is super convenient. The views are out of this world.

The road going to the house is gravel and was quite rivety/divety from water/rain. It was a slow drive in our 4X4. A small sedan may struggle. And the lounge didn't have a TV. The TV is in the bedroom, but one in the lounge would be great.
