Great location in Hobart. Beautiful period manor, lovely entry area and rose gardens front and back. We lived the very spacious room. The room faced the fairly busy road but was totally sound proofed from road noise. Beautiful 4-poster bed frame.

Room needed a good thorough dust and vacuum in the hidden areas. I’m quite sensitive to house dust so wouldn’t have gone well if we’d stayed longer than the one night. The staff member we met was working nonstop but the manor’s interior clearly needed additional staff in order to maintain a high standard. Also, downstairs you can here noise upstairs.

This superb property has everything you’ll need for a perfect stay. Robert was extremely accommodating and attentive to all my needs as a person with accessibility issues. The Manor is centrally located to everything, great restaurants within walking distance and Salamanca is a very short drive or you can walk via historic Battery Point which is beautiful also. We did a couple of day trips to Mt Wellington, Cascade Brewery and Mt Field, they were all easily accessible from this fabulous location. The room ( downstairs King suite )was delightfully decorated and very comfortable. I recommend this property to anyone who wants a comfortable stay, centrally located and breakfast every morning.

Located in a beautiful neighborhood. Plenty of space. Walking distance from a few restaurants and grocery store. Very nice guests, staff member very helpful. Bedrooms were charming in their decor as well as quite comfortable.

I was in the apartment. My bedroom was separated from the rest of the apartment by a private hall that could not be locked, which made a late night run to the loo inconvenient as the 2 sections of the apartment required the keys to enter each section. A second loo would have improved my experience.

A minor point only. The breakfast was fine BUT initially we did not realize that guests could enter the kitchen where the refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave are located. In your instructions to guests we believe that it would be useful to specifically mention that the kitchen contains both equipment and food in the refrigerator (milk, yoghurt, fruit) for breakfast. One couple who arrived as we were finishing took one look at the table in the dining room, decided that there was insufficient and left before we could tell them that the kitchen had additional goodies.

Everything! This is a luxurious and well-priced hotel with large, beautifully presented rooms and very comfy beds! Our room opened onto the garden which made our stay, as did the complimentary lounge facilities .. Breakfast was well done, and the staff were very helpful. It's a five-minute walk to local facilities and shorter distance (0.9km) than I thought to Battery point from the hotel as there's a walkway by the marina. The parking was great, and I'd be delighted to stay there again but for longer next time!

A superbly presented property. Well renovated and maintained with wonderful garden space to enjoy. The rooms were large, the bathrooms fresh and modern. The room was well appointed and the breakfast enough to get you started for the day. Parking is abundant.

On the ground floor by the front door can be a little noisy and of an evening it's quite easy to hear the footsteps in the room above. The driveway is hard to spot when approaching for the first time and the hedge obscures the signage for the property.

The property was a beautifully maintained old manor house with original features and a modern bathroom. Beds were very comfy. Lovely breakfast room looking out onto manicured gardens. Extensive range of continental breakfast options. Plenty if off street parking.

Weren’t able to open the windows - probably due to them being permanently closed to keep out the traffic noise. Maybe consider paying a bit extra for the room with the balcony if you like to sleep with open windows. We solved the issue of the warm room by having the air conditioning on through the night so it was all good.

The breakfast and the port and chocolates in the evening were great. The housekeeper serving breakfast remembered how we liked our coffee and gave some helpful recommendations for activities in Hobart. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The games in the lounge and umbrellas for use if it rains were lovely additions to the guest services provided. The whole ambience of the property is charming and provided for an enjoyable stay.

There was a random pair of thongs under our bed - presumably from a previous guest. The housekeeper who served breakfast spent a lot of time telling guests how busy she was and trying to get them to agree to her not servicing their rooms. She also complained to us about other guests creating extra work by eating breakfast before 7:30 and leaving dishes. She may need a little more training in guest interactions.

Great location not far from the city centre. Easily accessible by car, possibly a bit harder by foot. The continental breakfast provided a great selection & the little dining room was lovely. The apartment was bright, sunny, spacious & well decorated. The beds are huge!

The front bedroom got a bit of road noise. Also if you had young children staying in the 2nd bedroom, the main entrance to the apartment cannot be locked as it is a fire door. Therefore the apartment & the separate bedroom both had a lockable door. Okay for older children but not younger ones. (Perhaps contact the management for a better explanation.)

The breakfast provided was perfect for us. Located next to a bus stop from the city made it very convenient, shops nearby too for dinner and groceries. Could walk to the city through Battery Point. Beautiful building that seems well maintained. We saw a rabbit in the backyard, so cute! Chocolates and port in the communal living area was a nice touch.

Would be nice if there was a room with two separate beds (two single beds). Our room only had one face towel provided.
