I was only there for such a short time, arrived late after a long return flight from overseas, long stop over in Sydney, so I was exhausted! Just needed a bed before driving home to the NW coast the next day. The person I spoke to on the phone about the booking and my late arrival was super helpful, and friendly. Late check in was easy… and the bed was really comfortable, nice pillows. I had a wonderful sleep! Just what I needed. Shower was also good, everything was clean, and worked! The room was dated, but nice and spacious. Good value for money. I would stay definitely stay again.

Being Launceston… steep! A lot of stairs with a big suit case, but no real drama… and nice night times views made it worth it!

I liked the new decor, and the window views to the valley beyond. Lovely staff and upon entry and exit, there was always a lovely man willing to help me with my heavy luggage up and down the stairs. So nice! More than enough tea and coffee on offer, plus I could get a change of linen whenever you wanted. You just had to ask. I was a solo traveller with a room for three so I had plenty of room and enough towels and soaps for my four day stay. The red heart chocolates in your room upon arrival was a very lovely gesture and I enjoyed my three choccies.

Key entry with no internal lock mechanism on the handle. Although the door was locked from the outside, I was still a bit apprehensive about my safety. The door had a chain lock though, but they are easy to access from outside if you want to get in. The car park is on a big slope, so your car door can swing wide and hit other cars, if you're not careful.

Coach House met our requirements adequately for the two night stay in Launceston while attending a State meet . Bed very comfy, small kitchen facilities handy, shower facilities etc adequate for a stayover. Very clean rooms. Staff very helpful and accommodating to our needs, even when we locked ourselves out of our room, they were very obliging to our call for help late at night.

Didn't like the steep incline in and out of the drive and car parking bays. Was hard at our age (70's) coming and going...that would be the only reason we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

I was very happy with the comfort of the suite, the cleanliness of the room, the quiet around the whole complex, and helpfulness of the staff.

A an older person , the steepness of the site was a bit of a problem for me when trying to take my suitcase up the driveway to my car when I was leaving . I spoke to Shelby and suggested that if I was to come back again that I could request a room on the next floor up to avoid the steepness of the driveway because I could park my car closer to the rooms and avoid the driveway.

The room was beautiful and warm. I was so glad to find it so quickly online when my flight back to Melbourne was cancelled at 9:00 pm. Very good price and much better quality accommodation than I expected. No air freshener smell, sparkling cleanliness and the heater was put on for me to warm it up before I arrived. So nice to have everything I needed, coffee, kettle microwave and hair drier. The bed was really comfortable and firm. Caitlin (sorry if I misspelled it) from Canada was welcoming, friendly and charming. Very happy to stay here again in future.

A spare blanket would have been handy :). Also I couldn't work out how to get Netflix or Youtube working on the TV.

Very well set up place that despite being quite old fashioned hangs in there well. Nice big room with a view, and good location for what we needed. Good value.

Bathroom was pretty crappy I have to say - clean, but old fashioned - hasn't been updated since 80's (?) but it works I suppose - just not what one would expect nowadays. (leaking toilet bowl, remnants of sticky tape on walls where stuff like soap dispensers has been broken off). But hey you're only in the bathroom for 1/2 hour each day!

Lovely accommodation, situated in the heart of Launceston where we were able to go to the CBD and different locations easily. Has adequate room size for a couple and smart tv which was a plus for my partner. Room was clean and tidy and has good views of the city which was cool to look at especially at night when lights are on. They have friendly and accommodating staff, especially Karen who made sure our stay were comfortable and good for our first time in Launceston.

Outdated toilet and bath which were also separate from each other but was useful when partner had to use the toilet and I wanted to go use the shower first.

Great location. Stayed a week and was pleased with our choice of accommodation. Super friendly staff on check in and was just as pleased here as our stays at their sister properties Fox & Hounds in Port Arthur and Allurity in Hobart CBD.

Disregard the other reviews that mention the hill. Yes there’s a slope but it is certainly not a drama walking around the property and if myself and my assistance dog are capable of walking up it from trips down to City Park and back up in one go then I’m sure most normal folk will be fine.

Rooms are lovely, very clean and with a comfy bed. The Motel is located in walking distance of many restaurant's and pubs, which is good because parking can be difficult if it's a busy weekend so you can leave your car in the carpark and walk to a restaurant for breakfast or dinner. The Motel also gave a voucher for 20% off the cost of breakfast at a Cafe just around the corner, which is a very nice touch! The Motel is under new ownership/management and the new Manager, Paul, was so friendly and welcoming :)

It was a very comfortable and warm night’s stay. A comfortable seat in the evening sun by the window overlooking the Tamar valley. A good desk to work at. Good, but twitchy shower. Toilet separate from bathroom. The lass on reception both evening and morning was fabulous.

The shower was over a bath, which is always a little difficult for those with mobility difficulties. A lot of the decor was dated, but not every motel can be spick & span with all mod cons, but this did not take away from the comfort and overall stay.
