Great value - good sized room - modern good bathroom - v clean - comfortable bed

Reception photocopied my Credit card - bordering on illegal- inviting fraud- advised I wasn't happy with process even though they tried to claim it would b held 'safely'??

Room was clean .

They held mt security deposit because I got my period on their linen and left rubbish in the bin. I was told they would keep my $200 deposit because it costs money to hire cleaners to clean the rooms

The location is great in the CBD within the free tram zone less than 2 blocks from Southern Cross Station which is also the location of the Sky Bus to/from the airport. The room was spacious but blandly decorated and the bed was comfortable enough but could have used 4 pillows. The bathroom was large enough with a spacious shower and the towels were comfy. There is a 24 hour front desk staff and all were helpful and friendly and went the extra mile by printing out some tram information for getting to the AO. There was a fridge in the room and a hot water pot for making tea and coffee. We did not get to use the pool but seems like a great option for those hot days.

A little bit of color and decoration in the room would be welcomed.

Check in was smooth and all communication was excellent. The first room I was allocated had been occupied by a smoker even though on a non smoking floor, it was no problem to get another room which was perfect. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast option for $15 is plentiful. Cereal, toast, beans, eggs, coffee and tea. Definitely a good deal. The location was perfect for me, as I'm new to Melbourne and the Southern Cross Station where the airport Sky Bus drops you off, was only a short walk. There is a shopping centre almost across the road containing a Coles which was very helpful and a major Police Station across from the hotel, so I felt very safe. There are lots of trams within a few minutes walk that will take you to the city. I would definitely recommend and stay here again too, if the price was still good.

Didn't like the smoking smell in the first room I was given, but it was no problem to change.

Location was excellent at the heart of downtown and 5 minutes from the railway station which was important to me as I came by rail and left by rail. All major attractions also within walking distance combined with the free tram travel area. The cost was also very good for a downtown location. The room was not huge but everything worked, shower, toilet ac, internet .etc. and no noise distubance from other rooms or outside,

The room decor is a bit dated and the heavy brown carpet and brown furniture gives a dark impression but it is entirely functional. The TV would have a treat for a techy with all sorts of ways of interacting with prime and netflixs , casting etc but I would have preferred a simpler option. But no big deal as I dont go on holiday to watch TV. I did see a couple of previous reviews mentioning loss of belongings , so I did take extra care with anything shiny or valuable which is a pain but had no problems.

Location is convenient especially as I arrived late from the airport (1:30am). The location is also convenient for events at Marvel Stadium or accessing Southern Cross Station for catching V-line trains or buses. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds 🛏️ comfortable. The breakfast is also basic but convenient as I was catching an early bus to the Gippsland region so had time for a coffee and some toast before leaving and without having to go outside my accommodation. There is also a tram stop virtually outside the door which makes it easy to get around the city.

Nothing. I needed a place to stay as I was arriving late and leaving early so Atlantis is ideal as it is a convenient location and affordable price.

Easy check in. Switched on staff. Quick lifts. Very clean room, nice and quiet. Great location as virtually across the road to the Bus/train station.

We had included breakfast for our stay and it was really disappointing. Rocked up at 9.30am Sunday morning and all that was available for the hot food selection was a few spoons of scrambled eggs (not enough for two) toast and baked beans?..seriously who eats beans? Where was the bacon and/or sausages? We asked and were told that was all they offer and there was no more hot food available (besides plenty of cereal). We weren't expecting a gourmet breakfast but really you can do a better hot food selection than that and there should be plenty of hot food on offer right up till 10am. Don't cut corners! Get this sorted out and your hotel will be up there with the better ones.

Staff were so friendly, very helpful and nothing was ever too much for them. Great location could easily walk about & use the trams outside the hotel. Lovely space in the room. Bed was super comfy. I stayed for 5 nights and had new towels each day & a new bed made. Can use three swimming pool & gym too which were both great.

Whenever the air con was on the fan in the bathroom was switched on which was quite loud - but other than this, everything was great.

The staff went above and beyond to help us as we both had to go to hospital. They assisted us with everything including monitoring me in the pool! Breakfast staff were lovely. Everyone had a bright smile despite things going wrong. Hats off to them, I admire their tenacity & resilience. Breakfast was ample, tasty strong coffee. Felt safer as it is opposite major police station. Great value for money especially for the location :) Very clean, comfy beds, large TV, free WiFi, free tea & coffee. Overall very happy with our stay & will return soon! Thank you for being awesome! Oh & Coles is across the road, a great bonus. Swimming pool was very clean & a great workout.

The shower flooded the bathroom night one lol! Lack of toiletries, no manual, paper or pen (luckily I have pen+paper with me 24/7). Inability to use Netflix etc despite it being available on the remote. Typing in the username/password for my account was cumbersome with the remote. No low dimming lights. One of the lifts regrettably broke down but not a big deal.. Opposite police station so sirens galore at times, again not a deal breaker. To me the most significant part was no manual & felt like we were constantly annoying the staff. The manual would certainly ease the pressure on them!

The property is well located close to public transport, eateries, supermarket and Spencer street outlets. The room was a reasonable size with queen bed, tv, couch, desk and ensuite bathroom. The room was clean, comfortable and met our needs. Breakfast was included in the price and was limited to cereal, tea, coffee, juice, eggs, baked beans and toast. There is a pool and gym on the ground floor although we did not use them. The staff were really helpful and reassigned our room when I explained that I don’t like heights. I’ve stayed here before and this is one of the nicer hotels in this part of town. The 2nd room we were offered was not as fresh as the one during my previous stay but still perfectly adequate.

The room could do with a freshen up. The people staying in the room next door had their tv up really loud until the early hours of the morning. Perhaps adjusting volume on the tvs would minimise this issue.
