it was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful. were able to leave luggage in secure room for the day while shopping in Melbourne. The hotel has a great restaurant, food was very good and it also has a little coffee place downstairs.

it was a bit out of the way, nothing too far but we did have to walk a bit from the trains station and there were hardly any restaurants close to the hotel, only in the hotel and no convenience store close by. the fire station was right underneath and next to the hotel, which was no issue for us.

The breakfast was the same all throughout our stay but it was a variety, can't complain!! We also did not request breakfast with our booking but the staff was generous & offered it to us for a discounted rate. We stayed in your Hotel for close to (10) days. We did not have breakfast everyday but when we had a tight schedule, we did. Even the staff at the 1F restaurant were all wonderful!! The Front Desk staff are very accommodating, warm & patient. We left a plastic bottle under the sofa in our room. Until we left, it was never cleared . . . I hope they also vacuum the floor & under the sofa, not only the rug part. But truly this is a small, minor thing. The beds were tidied & the bathroom was clean & dry - the ones that matter were spic & span!

The room we stayed in was super comfortable, there was stains on the rug & cracks in the bathroom soink which we let reception know as soon as we noticed. They were very understanding of this. The bed was extremely comfortable, the streaming process with the TV was simple, and the location was superb. Could have stayed in the shower for hours..

Personally wasn't a fan of not having a kitchen, but I can understand why. Disappointed we couldn't have stayed longer.

Comfortable stay and good location.

Cleaner service not consistent. During our stay some of days we got a cleaner that not even bother to refilled toilet roll or change dirty glass,towels and refill bottle drinks as well and all the beds still messy. We did complain to reception a few times but still same. There was even one day they weren't clean our rooms at all too even we didn't leave don't disturb tag outside.I had stayed a few places at courtyard marriot or marriot bonvoy chains. But courtyard marriot flagstaff is the most not consistent in terms of room cleaner service.

All hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The managers especially were incredibly kind and supportive in booking last minute accommodation even after being almost fully booked. The food was incredible and worth the money, easily the best food we've ever had.

We would only change 2 things - the hair conditioner (although that probably is just a personal preference) and sometimes the cards to get in the room wouldn't work so we'd have to go back down to the lobby. Besides that, perfect!

We had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure that we had a great stay. I especially enjoyed the hotel's internet connection. It was fast and reliable, and I was able to work from my room without any problems. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. The hotel also had a large closet and a large table, which were both very convenient. I was able to store all of my belongings in the closet, and I used the table to work on my laptop. Overall, I had a great stay at the Courtyard. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped hotel in Melbourne.

Such kind staff and very understanding. I commented that I was celebrating my birthday and I was greeted with slices of cheesecake and wine, it absolutely made our night. Getting the appliances to work was nice and simple and it was so close to so many stores that we didn’t need to go far and if we wanted to grab a drink off sight there was so many options close by. The cleanliness and professionalism was perfect.

There was no fridge so we couldn’t get anything cold and we couldn’t keep anything cold , that was our only complaint.

Beautiful new Hotel with modern vibe and extremely pleasant staff. Complimentary Champagne on arrival was very welcomed & a touch of customer service from the past. Rooms are small but lovely with modern bathrooms and luxurious beds. Double / Double is available, great for families. Quiet and safe part of the city, still within walking distance to shopping and a few blocks to trams and Spencer St Train Station. Breakfast was nice with cooked and continental options. Licenced Cafe next to the lobby was perfect for a morning Coffee or after shopping wine. 3 lifts made entry and exit efficient even while the hotel was full. Lovely lobby with various seating places while waiting for an Uber. Flagstaff Gardens close by are a pleasant change to the busy city, take this route to the city centre for some sunshine and gardens.

Rooms are small and windows have black architecture type pattern on them (a feature of the building on the outside) making the room dark. Not sure if this is the case in every room however. No trams in Batman street so a walk is a must (or Uber).

The customer service was another level, the spaces in our room was fantastic, nice comfortable bed and beautiful bathrooms, and we also got upgraded to bigger room which was a bonus, the gym was also another bonus. Thank you VM to the team at Courtyard by Marriott we appreciated your amazing customer service and we would certainly be back.

The food options in the restaurant was very limited, it would be great to have other dishes rather than just meat patties and burgers and chips, we need slippers for the wooden floors and robes for 2. The walls were thin and can hear everything and not sure if it was because where our room was but we kept getting other peoples deliveries.

Very clean, very spacious rooms that are quite luxurious. On arrival, the check-in staff member gave us a glass of champagne which was very welcome after a long day. We were very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. They have a nice cafe on ground floor which becomes a wine bar later in the day. We had a coffee from there in the morning which was very nice.

Although it says Flagstaff Gardens, it's arguably on the less convenient/centrally located side of the Gardens. It's a short walk to the Gardens and to get across the other side but there aren't great food options immediately surrounding the hotel.
