The location was highly impressive, offering a convenient and appealing setting. The room was both functional and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the facilities were of a high standard. Overall, the experience was excellent.

The front desk staff at the arrival could improve their approach by refraining from requesting an additional $50 for a room upgrade. After I declined the offer, I was informed that the upgrade was complimentary. Furthermore, as I had booked my stay through Booking.com, which included a complimentary room upgrade, the handling of this situation was not satisfactory and left a poor impression.

Great Location. So close to all the restaurants and Melbourne Central Shopping is less than 5 mins walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues at the start but were fixed pretty quickly. The pool area is great. The kids absolutely loved it. Washing machine and dryer is super convenient. I would recommend this place for a family of 4 or 5 in a 2 bedroom but highly recommend going for the bigger 2 bedroom option.

The rug needs major cleaning and floors were not cleaned properly

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Avani Melbourne, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional. A special mention to Kath and Shah, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their professionalism, warm demeanor, and attention to detail truly stood out. Whether it was assisting with our requests or offering excellent local recommendations, they made us feel truly valued as guests. The hotel itself was spotless, with modern amenities and a luxurious yet cozy ambiance. The rooms were well-maintained, and the views of Melbourne were breathtaking. The location is perfect—close to key attractions, dining options, and transport. I highly recommend Avani Melbourne to anyone looking for a delightful stay in the city. Close proximity to CBD, food outlets and transportation. Walking distance to different iconic landmarks. Shah, front of office was very helpful and supportive throughout our stay. Very accommodating and professional. Always greeted guests with a smile and had great customer service.

Air conditioning in our original room wasn’t working properly and made a lot of noise, on night 1 of the trip. Was compensated by being given another room the following morning and staff were very helpful in storing our luggage whilst upgraded room was getting sorted.

Excellent location, great facilities for kids, friendly staff. We had a 2 bedroom interconnected queen apartment which had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and shared living, dining, kitchen and only one entry door so was more than enough space for our family of five and we felt very safe. Would also make sure we packed bathers next time as the kids loved the indoor heated pool.

Some of our windows wouldn't open so it was a little difficult getting fresh air into the apartment. Also, the off-site parking is an easy walk back to the apartment but the roadworks going on during our stay meant it was difficult to get there in our car after checking in. In hindsight, it would have been better to go to the car park first, then check in.

The place is beautiful with amazing view of city, accessible to trams/train/bus, restaurants and musicals; it was clean but the carpet has stained; fresh paint and new bathrooms. The staffs were quite friendly and accommodating. Good water pressure considering we’re @ the top floor, quite place.

Although the place is lovely, it could be nice if it was cleaner like the carpet had stained. The mattress a little sloppy on 1 side. The curtain in the bedroom has 👄 lipstick mark. But, in general we had a great stay❤️

Location location location, it was perfect with a supermarket being close by, the view was great

I had booked the property to cook for my daughter who is a Uni there, was disappointed that the dishwasher didn't work, lack of oven dishes, and my daughter cut her foot on glass that had obviously dropped by a previous tenant. Oh and the pool wasn't in use.

The property had great amenities and the 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our needs. Excellent pool and exercise facilities for kids.

Location. Lack of good room service for food. No local menus in rooms. No hard copy of guest instructions for using TV , dishwasher etc although you could get one at reception. Online instructions very small and hard to read if elderly. No local brochures or travel folders to read about things to do and local restaurants to eat in. No good breakfast restaurants near by for Western breakfast. Hard to find local restaurants that cater for other cuisines except Asian food.

After our first night we changed rooms (requested on arrival as we were looking at a wall). The room we ended up with was quite good with a view.

When we arrived (2am) we were given a room looking at a wall so I went to reception and was told that it would be sorted in the morning which it was, very pleasantly too I might add. That was great but then the TV didn't work and being Sunday no maintenance people to fix it but the admin came up and managed to get the one station we were wanting going. Apart from losing our hire car booking on the Sunday Morning because they closed at 11am and we were changing rooms so were too late when we realized the room and especially the service ended up very pleasant.

Welcoming staff. The beds were comfortable and great, high pressure shower. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. Great pool and we also made use of the spacious swimming pool and table tennis.

We had to ask to have our room serviced and was told then that we had to leave key at reception in order for that to be done. Would have been better to be told that on arrival. Some of the furniture a bit dated.
