Location was good, restaurant was good. Concierge was excellent

1. As three people in our 70’s we requested two rooms on the same floor as close as possible in case the fire alarm sounded and we could help one another down the stairs. We were assured by email that this would happen, but on arrival the receptionist refused our request. We were put on the 31st and 35th floors! 2. The bathroom (especially the toilet) being in the bedroom was dreadful. Very badly thought out. 3. I reported on our second day that my bedside lamp wasn’t working but it did not get fixed in the four day stay.

The property was clean and very well maintained. I loved the customer service and quick and efficient responses to any questions I had. The room was quite modern and has everything I needed for the week.

The lights were about to dim in the main part of the room The gym didn’t have enough equipment, but that’s understandable considering the space. I also thought the price was quite high for a bed and bath room. I found a full apartment at another hotel with kitchen facilities for $100 less.

Very modern room with King Bed and very good views of the Northern and inner suburbs. Lifts were fast (we were on the 32nd floor) and valet parking and luggage service to your room was very convenient. Very large shower recess with large shower head. We had a package which included a full buffet breakfast and as usual it didn't disappoint. Very conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne, once we checked-in our car we walked everywhere. Lastly but most importantly the staff were fabulous! Everyone from the check-in reception to the concierge were great. We'll see you again :-)

Although the valet parking was very convenient (at this property valet parking it the only 'on site' option), it was also a little expensive.

The colours inside the rooms are relaxing! The location is perfect and the convenience for car parking. My son staying for free was a bonus as well, was awesome 👏🏾

Access to other floor levels! My daughters and a friend of ours were on level 33 and my partner, sons and I were on level 24 and we couldn’t have access to each other’s rooms when we needed to plan or organise! We had to meet on Ground level or level 2 then use the elevator to go up to one of the rooms to plan or organise. We asked specifically in our booking to have both rooms on the same level but we were booked on different levels

I loved how friendly the staff were, on arrival they let us know we had been given a room upgrade and left some goodies in the room as we were the "customers of the day" or something which was lovely, the room was spacious and had a great view, and the bed was comfortable. We were extremely happy with the TV which was big, clear and we could Chromecast Netflix onto it which was awesome. The shower was also excellent.

There was a slight strange odour coming from the toilet and it was quite difficult to find the hotel, we had to walk for miles to find it, but this was probably our fault for committing to walking and not Ubering!

Perfect location super close to Melbourne Central. Easy to walk to the main shopping area and there are food places everywhere. The Superior King Room was very roomy and didn't have an amazing view but it was still a good view. Very comfy bed and clean room.

The only real downside was that there's no door on the bathroom. There is one on the shower and one on the toilet but there's a gap at the top and bottom of the toilet door so if you're staying with someone else you'll probably need headphones in while they use the toilet!

I was so impressed by the manager on duty (Isabelle??) I’d had a very stressful morning arriving in Melbourne and she could see I was visibly flustered. She was so polite and arranged to have my room ready so I could compose myself and went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and that I had a great stay. As always, yet another fabulous experience with the incredible staff and hotel in general. Will only stay at the ibis or Novotel for all of my travels.. and I travel quite a bit! A big thank you to the entire team!

prime location, staff were very lovely, our trip was topped off from the lovely cleaners who noticed one day my daughter wrapped her teddies in her burrito blanket, so they continued to do so and it truly made my daughters day. great buffet breakfast, very comfy beds and great views. I’ve noticed comments on the carpets being dirty, I did notice minimal, however it didn’t affect our stay at all and for the price you pay this establishment is well worth it.

my only minor nit pic, and I mean this would be nitpicking, when I saw ‘spacious’ I was excited, but I personally didn’t find it to be very spacious. as a family of 4 a bit squishy, but still do-able.

Comfortable space and area which was close to alot of things. Kind, polite and friendly staff across all areas. Concierge staff Alan had been my top helper with excellent service. The room i stayed in was spacious, clean, well looked after and felt comfortable to stay in.

Very small let down on no kitchen area in the room. Would love for a microwave or cooking area when staying in than going out. TV selections was good, but could be better if Netflix was available to watch more movies or tv programmes than watching commercials after hours.

Location, cleanliness, hotel was modern

Staff need to lift their game a bit. Male colleague upon my check in gave me a print out saying I’d booked rooms with single beds, when I’d booked a King room. When I challenged that, he said “you must of made a mistake booking it”, which I showed was not the case with my booking. He checked with colleague to in fact find out the room was a King with 2 singles pushed together, so he should of checked this before insinuating the error was mine. Lady at check out wasn’t particularly enthusiastic, so the 2 staff I had interactions with let down what was a very nice hotel.
