the care taker was so sweet and all the staff as a whole were very helpful. the location was amazing and i felt quite safe as a girl travelling alone. the view was very nice and the facilities were all very clean. would 100% stay again

They allowed me to check into the room at 12 instead of 2 pm. Check in process was easy Room was amazing with good view of the city

The Hotel Manager (Arun) was very welcoming and friendly! I felt so important on check in. They allowed my early check in and late check out request which is usually hard to consider especially if the hotel is busy. He always check on us on how are we going so far with the stay since it is kinda long term stay. The location of OAKS South Yarra is great! Close to train and tram station to the city and ROD LAVER Arena if you are after to watch the Australian Open. Woolies, 7 eleven, IGA and restaurants are just walking distance. Staying at oaks is like, "Home away from home". I did not have any issues during my 3 weeks stay. Very quiet place, Beds are comfy, my apartment has washing machine, dryer, cooking facilities, and with perfect air-conditioning!

Great spot in south Yarra, close to great shopping and restaurants. Super friendly staff. Nice touch with a free bottle of wine for the tennis fans. Comfortable bed. Walk in shower Washer / dryer Large fridge Balcony was good but again a bit too small, or the furniture was too big.

The air con didn’t quite reach the bedroom so it was a bit hot in there at night. I think the bed was only a double but def not big enough. Furniture was uncomfortable, sofa not big enough and the single chair had stains on it which was unpleasant. A bit pricey, but everywhere is expensive with the tennis on.

Oaks South Yarra is situated in such a good spot. Literally next door to South Yarra station. Noise wise, the room was quite sound proof. No issues with getting to sleep. The room I stayed in (9th Floor, 901) overlooked the station, with a balcony showcasing Melbourne's skyline. Shower/bathroom was immaculate. Washing/Dryer was so handy while travelling. Absolute ease with check in and entry into the hotel after hours. Kitchen was user friendly, bed comfy, space light and also block out curtains optional. Plenty of room for clothes.

Wifi at times was slower than I expected. But no major issues. That's it.

Upon arrival the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Not only did they provide me with a guide to the Melbourne area, when I mentioned it was my fist time visiting from the UK, they gifted me a nice bottle of wine. The room itself had wonderful facilities, including all the mod cons needed for a very comfortable stay. They're also located right next to the train station, which obviously is great for transport access, but there was no noise interference whatsoever.

I genuinely don't have one bad thing to say about this place. My trip to Australia ended on a real high note thanks to the wonderful experience provided here.

Location is great. Staff are super welcoming and accommodating to needs. All instructions were clear and i felt safe coming and going from the property.

I got cold. I think a quilt or doona should be on the bed as a hot guest can always take it off/pull it back if they are too warm. A cold guest during the night doesn't have much of an option I didn't realise there was a blanket on the cupboard until i was leaving... I was woken a few times by construction nose which was not nice. Didn't hear the trains or streets at all though which was good.

Extremely friendly and helpful hotel manager and staff, assisting with access to travel cards, recommendations, and parking arrangements. Comfortable apartment style room with good amenities and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The mattresses were okay, not the greatest, but not terrible. The towels were a little coarse at times. This is just nitpicking, it doesn't affect my very positive view of our stay
