View from the room was unreal Great facilities, spacious room. Definatley had the luxury feel They let us check in one hour earlier and check out one hour later which i appreciated Located in central so walked around to most places and tram and train was short walk away

A member of staff walked into my room, 2 hours before check out without any permission. I was getting out the shower and saw a man walk past and completley frightened me and he saw me naked. It made me furious that staff think its acceptable to walk into rooms without permission. I complained to the reception desk and had no apology. The staff looked at me blank saying "errrrrrrr". Im baffled, it wasnt second nature for him to apologise to me?

Convenient location, close to Skybus, free tram stop and our day tour pickup points. Fantastic city view, especially at night. Walking distance to variety of restaurants. We had the best ever Domino’s pizza in Australia (shop is just across the road)! The Japanese restaurant downstairs is also quite good. Nice shower, water pressure is great. 24-hour reception service is great, we feel safe when we return from our day tour late at night. Friendly staff, late checkout time and free luggage storage service is impressive. We’ll definitely be back again!

Close to train tracks, a bit noisy. But once the balcony door closed, it doesn’t really bother us. I guess bedroom windows all locked for safety reasons, but not good for ventilation. My son also suggests all bedroom blinds to be changed to curtains to cover the windows properly to improve people’s sleep.

I loved the friendliness of the staff and recommendations that they had given me, my hotel room was perfect and clean. Linen changed and towels changed daily. Location is great as it’s close to trams, train stations to get around the whole city with. Many food and drink venues nearby so you don’t have to travel far. There’s grocery markets around the block or deli stores closer. 10-15 min walk to main shopping malls so it’s very convenient to stay at.

Only the shower door didn’t close all the way so water would leak out, but staff’s members always made sure the towels were changed daily, so no issue.

Rm 1803 The view was lovely The staff were very nice and helpful. Like the fact facewashers and kitchen scissors provided. Enjoyed my stay. Return guest.

The bedroom was stuffy and the aircon was only producing heat. I have the exact same aircon. I think batteries need replacement or something wrong with it as I own same aircon. Had to get up twice in night to open balcony door to let cold air in.

The location is excellent providing you with a central location from which to explore all that Melbourne has to offer. The apartment is a very good size and had all the amenities we needed. The room cost was very good value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will be my choice for another trip to Melbourne for sure.

The only issue we had was that the double bed was two large singles joined together. The base was fine, but the top mattresses moved and it sometimes made a gap in the middle.

Location was great- within walking distance to lots of tourist attractions/eateries/shopping areas. Also within walking distance to tram/train. Bed was really comfortable. Apartment was quiet, despite central location. There were wireless charging pads- one on either side of bed- which was handy. Good heating/air con system. Always staff at the front desk 24/7 which is a great service to have. Secured entry to building with access fob is also good. On check-in, we were given the option of what level of housekeeping we would like e.g. fresh towels each day, no housekeeping at all etc We were able to store our bags there after we checked out, and collect later on that day, for free. Reception had lots of tourist information leaflets on things to do in Melbourne.

Cleanliness could have been improved- unfortunately, there were a couple of long hairs on the bed on arrival. This may just have been from whoever had cleaned the room before our arrival but it was a bit off-putting.

The staff after booking and making a request direct with them were so nice and accomodating. At check in the staff were also lovely, so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was fantastic for a two day stay, it had everything we needed and is lovely to be able to make a hot drink or heat food. The balcony was nice for a drink with river and city views. The bedroom with the window onto the balcony was a little noisy but is to be expected right in the city (was quiet after the trains finished) the other bedroom was beautiful and quiet and dark and the bed was so comfortable. The staff had great suggestions when we asked about where to eat etc. The built in wireless chargers on the bed heads were fantastic, I didn’t have to get my charger out the whole time.

As with high traffic accommodation the common areas could do with a freshen up and coat of paint.

Brilliant location. Directly out the front door is hardware societe which is a fabulous Cafe, Plenty of other food venues. A hundred metres or so from the aquarium. The view from our room was a crane, the train and the aquarium - our young kids were thrilled. 24hr reception staff is always helpful. Parking wasn't onsite but was pretty close by. Incredible value for money overall.

Off-site parking is always a pain, especially when you have lots of bags and kids. There's a car park out the front door to unload, but they only have a pretty small luggage trolley. The apartments are small but well designed so the space is well utilised.

The location was handy close to the Melbourne aquarium and tram stop. Short walk across bridge to Southbank, casino, DFO and Melbourne Exhibition Centre. 2 Tram stops to Flinders Station and tram area within free city tram zone. Liked that the apartment was 2 bedroom, which is hard to find in Melbourne. The apartment had all amenities needed such as full kitchen with fridge, 4 burner gas hotplate, under bench oven, microwave and sink. Built in laundry space with front loader washing machine and dryer. The apartment we were in had 2 bathroom which is handy when travelling with more than 2 people. Reasonable sized lounge area with a dining table and chairs and a balcony for outside fresh air as well as a split system air-conditioner in the main lounge area. Nice view over Yarra river to southbank.

The only thing that could be improved is the TV. The reception on the TV was not good and it was not a "smart TV " as stated when we booked. It would be nice to be able to stream Netflix etc or at least have foxtel available, plus have better TV reception.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The first time we stayed here was in 2011 for our wedding, and even though we got a free upgrade to the penthouse suite back then, this was a great room with an amazing view located on the 18th floor.

Not sure why the smoke alarm was in the bedroom rather than the hallway, green light was annoying. Sometimes the lift didn't recognise the key for our floor so we had to keep scanning and pressing the button. Didn't like the fact we had to take our own rubbish and recycling out, both of those rooms smelled disgusting. We were asked when we checked in if we wanted fresh towels the next day, which we said yes, however, I had to go down to reception after 4pm, when we got back after being out all day, only to discover they hadn't been to our room, they gave me towels then 30 minutes later they came to our room, bit too late, housekeeping should be done before 2pm.
