Good breakfast buffet assortment and supply, with coffee machine for guest use. Nice to have a tea station available for guest use at other times. Our room and bathroom were very spacious with nice amenities. Great location near Stift Nonnberg, walking distance to all of the Old town. Interesting to be located above the Mozartkino, with Roman ruins below

Temperature control was difficult in our room. We had to open windows in winter to relieve the central heating .

It is in a great location in old Salzburg. It is a good launching point for sight-seeing. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I knew coming in the room was on the smaller side but even I, a solo traveler, was a little cramped. Also, the dining area for breakfast is a little small too. The first day, I went 30 minutes after breakfast started and it was hard to find plates and silverware, food was running out and I didn't see any staff to follow-up with. The second day I skipped breakfast for sight-seeing and the third day I went right when they started serving so I didn't have any problems, haha.

Sarahi, the receptionist was amazing and very very helpful. We had a little issue with our car, and she went over and above her way to help us. Salzburg is an amazing, beautiful city rich in history, extremely clean. The hotel is in an excellent location and beautiful scenery and setting. Our room had a little balcony facing thd hills with gorgeous sound of bells and chirping birds.

No tea making facilities in room but to be fair there was not much space as room is small and there are communal facilities a few floors down. Bed was made up of 2 singles put together but it kept splitting leaving and uncomfortable gap.

Room was small but very comfortable as a single traveller. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Location was excellent for the old town Salzburg, great for a visit to the fortress. Easy to find traditional places to eat nearby. Onsite cinema looked great, but didn't have time to try it.

Hot water was slow to reach my room on the third floor. Not optimally located for the train, but other public transport was available. Prefer tea/hot drinks in the room, but the tea station worked well.

Breakfast was amazing, it was a great way to get fueled up for a day of exploring. The room views were also great; we could see the fortress from our window, and were awoken each morning by the clip clopping of horse carriages traveling the cobblestone streets.

I realize this is a silly complaint when travelling through europe, but air conditioning would have been nice. The rooms are quite small, but the hotel is ancient so I understand. All in all; the convenience and the awesome location more than made up for any missing amenities.

The hotel was an old hotel with cinema. Don't worry, even they are one of the oldest hotel.. They do have an elevator. We love our room which is on the top floor with a view of the castle. Breakfast was nice for us. If you would like to stay near the altstadt I would recommend this hotel. The hotel reception staff was very nice too. The hotel parking is on the road opposite to the hotel which is very convenient. For the kino there're also movies with English subtitles but we didn't have a chance to do the movies yet. The hotel is now on renovation but we didn't have any difficulties during our stay.

The location is in a perfect spot to walk to most of the sites in Salzburg. It is located in a restricted pedestrian and bike zone and they gave specific direction on how to access the area to check in and then park. It is about a 5 minute walk from Salzburg Cathedral and in a perfect location for shopping. There is a historic movie theater connected to the property. They provided two fans in the room which was very helpful. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was ample. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Absolutely loved the location and breakfasts! Opportunity to make yourself a mimosa's for breakfast stole my heart. Why not to spoil yourself on vacation? :) Front office desk, especially Leon was unbelievably helpful. My husband forgot his jacket along our home keys in the closet in the room. Leon was kind enough to make sure we get our keys and husbands jacket back. Although the package is still on it's way, we are more than satisfied with this kind of service!

No air conditioner in the room (or we didn't found any).

we had late checkin and the room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but Simon made sure that someone came and got it ready while we had dinner. we can’t thank Simon and the gentleman from maintenance who came back. That was the only negative thing we can say and the staff was quick to make it right and we enjoyed the rest of the stay with no issues.

Location was excellent, very close to most of Salzburg’s main sites. The triple room was convenient, spacious and included an attic as a second room for the third bed. The staff was very welcoming and helped a lot with parking the car.

1. There was no A/C for a quite (upper floor) warm room. Although that con was known during our reservation, and although there were ventilators and a portable A/C unit, it still was affecting in having a good sleep. 2. Bath drainage wasn’t good.
