Very nice host. I met her in person and had a very nice chat with her. She gave me her recommendations, told me about the area and neighboring villages. She was very hospitable. We lived on the first floor, there is a large bright room with its own toilet and shower. My wife and I were comfortable enough, we spent three nights there. I really liked how the common space for the guests was organized: kitchen, living room and terrace outside. Very stylish and functional.

We would not mind going back, but we will rent a room on the second floor, as the first floor was constantly woken up by drunken neighbors at night (creaking floor and constant banging on the door). Probably should put up a warning sign at the hotel entrance asking for quiet at night.

Very nice, clean, confortable room in valking distance from Brugge city centre. Spacious room, nice bed and great atmosphere. Very-very kind host who helped a lot with great advices. We could use the bikes to discover the old town which was a great addition. I can only recommend the place, we plan to return!

Nothing really. We could also solve the parking issue in front of the house (parking time is limited but our host showed a street nearby where we could leave the car).

The room was cozy, equipped with nice furniture and accessories, with a coffee machine and electric kettle for tea, as well coffee and tea bags, cookies and chocolate. The same were available all the time on the basement, where you can go to take the breakfast and sit in the garden. The house was on a short time walk to the center, so quite suitable for us. The car was parked on the near street, where the parking possibility was for free. Great hospitality, a friendly, helpful owner. There were free bikes to use, so we did a trip to Ostend. Overall we are very satisfied and spent a lovely time in Bruges.

Mosquitos.

Not much to mention. Limited parking time in front of the hotel (but the host helped us to find a proper street nearby to park the car, so no real problem).

This has got to be one of the best accomodations I've ever stayed in! Super friendly host, easy to find, spacious, comfortable, the works! We came with a car so purposely chose something a little out of the city centre so it would be easy to park. To our surprise, we were given bikes for the duration of our stay, so the expected half an hour walk to the centre actually became a 5 min bike ride! I would 100% recommend this to anyone going to Bruges!

Fantastic host and really well sized rooms ! Couldn’t fault the cleanliness and the little bits provided that made travel easier !

It is around a half hour walk from the center , however we enjoyed our walk and there is a bus stop outside . Just something worth remembering if you have access requirements . The noise can be a little disturbing but this is due to the property keeping it’s older charm !

A fantastic stay. The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. There were plenty of amenities and we especially appreciated the availability of dinnerware with utensils and wine glasses. The location was quiet and because we were on the top floor we didn't hear footsteps or noise (but we were very careful to be as quiet as possible so we also didn't contribute to any noise for our downstairs neighbors).

One warning for future guests coming here is to be careful with the stairs. They are very narrow and steep and may not be suitable for all. In regard to the area, the distance from the little city center is not bad, only about a 10-min walk, but during the winter when there was ice and snow on the ground it was not pleasant to walk to and from the center. The majority of the side walks were not salted and we frequently had to walk on the street to avoid slipping and falling, dodging bicyclists and cars in the dark.

Nice large room, good bed and friendly owners. Great value for money. You can sometimes hear other people in the other rooms as the house has wooden floors, but we didn't mind that. Location is a little outside the center but you can walk to the city center in +/- 20-25 minutes, which I think is fine. You can borrow bikes to cycle to the city if you wish. And all that in a monument!

Although I can't complain too much about the bikes as they were free, it would be really nice if they were a bit more well-maintained and had working bike lights. But I'm splitting hairs here.

We loved the inclusion of bikes for guests, and we recommend going for an early morning ride around the old town before another busy day in the city begins.

Free parking was available but not exactly at the property. It wasn't a problem to have the car parked a couple of streets away, and we would stay again on the same basis.

The historic villa was part of a 1912 structure. It was comfortable and well maintained. Our host. Virginia was delightful, let us check in early and check out late and provided information we needed to make our trip even better. The only issue was a narrow wooden staircase to our room is located on the first floor which to me meant the ground level with no steps involved. It is challenging with luggage. Definitely recommend staying here
