A 10-minute walk from the train station; bus station just a few meters from the hotel in case it's raining and you want to take a bus to/from the hotel. No adjoining hotels (which means it's quiet). They have their own restaurant and just across the big square are several restaurants. It takes about 18 minutes to walk to the main centre (where the Belfry is). Positive: you don't have to drag your luggage through cobbled streets, unlike if you are staying in the centre itself. Area is safe (the whole Bruges is safe anyway). Staff are very pleasant; even the chef asked whether we needed anything (he served food in the restaurant because there was a gathering in one of their event rooms where most wait staff were assigned). Reception is very helpful. I always like hotels that have a mini fridge in their rooms (and this one has). They replenish two small bottles of water (one still, one sparkling) every day. Rooms, hallways are very clean.

Maybe add the city tax to the hotel bill instead of having to pay for it separately (but maybe this is a requirement of the Bruges city hall). Not a deal breaker, but it saves time during check in.

We stayed here for one night during our Europe tour by car. It was in great location. It was just in the historic town of Bruges so walking around the town was easy and enjoyable. Also there was a parking place on the ground floor of the hotel. We left the car there and spend the day by walking and exploring. The room was very clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Also the open-buffet breakfast was rich.

We liked everything in Bruges and in the hotel. The town was like a place from a fairy tale. We took great pictures and enjoyed Belgium chocolate and waffle :)

First things first, the hotel itself is a real gem. It's comfortable, clean and decorated with bright colours that will lift your spirits as soon as you walk in. The staff were a real highlight of the trip. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and it really made all the difference, they have hospitality in their blood. I didn't get a chance to have breakfast at the hotel, but that just gives me an excuse to come back and visit again! And trust me, I definitely will be back. This hotel has won me over, and I can't wait to return.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel. Although, I did miss having some shower gel, and had to settle for soap bars. But hey, small details, right?

Great location within minutes walk from the center. The room was spacious.

Our room had black hair all over: bed, chair, bathroom floor & sink. -Nowhere to hang the towels. -Limited breakfast choices, we arrived an hour before closing and the breakfast lady was saying she cannot bring more of this or of that (salmon, fruits...) because there were too many people earlier. What kind of excuse is that? We paid €19/ person, they should have made sure to provide enough to everyone. - strong smell of fresh paint

Convenient location at the western fringe of the city center, in walking distance to the centre and the railway station (each a wall of 10-15 minutes). There are various bars and restaurants around the square on which the hotel is located. The room was nothing special, but practical and clean. Friendly staff.

There is a market in front of the building on Saturdays - nice for a market stroll, but can get a bit noisy because the windows are not really soundproof. Curtains were no very dark, so after sunrise the room gets a bit of light. Breakfast was ok, but not overly impressive.

The location of the hotel was great. not far from the centre and not too close to be disturbed by the noise. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the rooms were spacious.

- I start with the breakfast which was absolutely ripped off. The choices in your fridge are more than the choices provided by the hotel. When I asked for fried eggs the answer was "we don't provide that" yet we paid £20 for the breakfast. The scrambled egg was made with "something" (a special herb I guess) that was weird to all of us. - After more than 30 years of travelling, I ended up at a place where room 412 was located on the 3rd floor and not the 4th !!! - Also be aware, if you are paying in other currencies than the euro, the card reader machine allows you to pay with either the Euro or the other currency but the staff force you to pay with the euro. I had to argue with them for 10 mins and eventually, could pay in pound sterling.

Small but comfortable & modern room. Spacious and modern bathroom. Looks almost new. Good AC. Very Clean. Well decorated lobby and breakfast area. Nice staff that let me borrow an iphone charger great location - Saturday and Sunday markets right outside the hotel and walking distance from all main attractions. walking distance from the train station, if you dont want to walk 10 mins (dragging your suitcases) to the train station you can take the bus which is 2 euros and stops 1 min from the hotel.

Toilet downstairs in the lobby looked like it wasnt part of the hotel - very old like the forgot to renovate it. The night manager told us that no restaurants were serving food around 10:30 at night - not true! I was starving so I had to eat chicken sticks at a snack bar in the same square that our hotel was located thinking nothing else was open that was serving food. The next night we were at another square (max 15 mins from our hotel) which was buzzing and the restaurants were serving food till midnight! If we were given the right info, we could have walked further but as it was our first night and rather late we took his word for it.

The room was so comfy, temperature was great, and it was clean. Breakfast were good quality for money, fresh and well presented. There was more than enough. Location of the hotel was walking distance from old (historic) town. Close to restaurants that you can choose from. The bus station is near and walking distance from the train station. Great variety of restaurants walking distance from hotel. The staff was exceptional, friendly and very helpful. It was great that there was parking available at the hotel

We did not stay long and therefore our stay was above our expectations. We did not have any bad experience during our stay.

Great location, far from the noises of the crowd, but only a few minutes walk from the main station and main sites. Front desk personnel extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast of very good quality, fresh, delicious. For those who love waterfall shower, you will be delighted. They are nice, but the system does not allow to regulate the water flow. Sometimes I think one does not need that much water flow to shower. I would prefer an option that allows me to save water.

For better sleep quality, it would be nice if the room had blackout curtains. Room 455 does not have them. The breakfast was delicious and included eggs, bacon, but I missed baked beans and mushrooms. It would have been lovely if these were available.

location is great, very easy to find main attractions in the city with a walking distance. all building is really welcoming and clean. hotel bar was very small and I didn't see anyone who was sitting there. I was expecting this to be more as a social area. bathroom was really small, but with great ventilation, so steam from showering was almost instantly gone.

poor cleaning service. they forgot to leave us water and paper 2 days in a row. when I asked receptionist she said that we can also drink tap water... she promised it will be delivered next day, it wasn't.
