This is a typical Bruges house on the edge of the historic centre. It is right around the corner from the trail that you can walk on to go all the way around the city and it is also an easy walk straight into the middle of the historic area. It is just far enough away from the restaurants and bars so that it is very quiet at night. We stayed in room 2 on the first floor, which has an extra large king sized bed, an alcove with a table and 2 chairs for breakfast and an en-suite bathroom with a good shower. Breakfast is brought up to your room between 7-9am and you can choose the time. I am gluten free and they kindly home-made me gluten free bread rolls. You also get ham, cheese, eggs, yogurt, croissants, jam, tea, coffee and juice. There is a coffee machine, TV, microwave and fridge in the room. There is a key pad for the front door so you can come and go whenever you want and a key to lock your room. It was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We just had rucksacks, but if you have big suitcases you would struggle too find somewhere to put them, as the bed takes up most of the room. Being a typical Bruges house, the stairs are quite narrow for large suitcases.

Peter was very quick and helpful responding on booking.com. His wife was so hospitalable and sweet when we got there and she let us in. She made a huge, tasty breakfast. When she found out, we were leaving before breakfast the next day, she accommodated us by bringing up some yogurt and granola and even offered to make a full breakfast earlier, but we declined. So sweet. She even made us sandwhiches to take with us.

The room wasn't too small, but it was hard to find a place to open our luggage where it wasn't in the way. We just made sure to pull out what we needed and put the suitcases away.

Peter and Ann went above and beyond to accommodate us, gave us instructions from the station, let us check in early and even made us lunch as we had to leave so early and didn't make breakfast. The location is perfect within walking distance of everything. The little touches they had in room were fantastic. The breakfast was amazing and brought to your room.at a time that suits you. So much choice, exceptional xx If ever back in Bruge will.stay here again

The location was perfect, and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was nice and included in the price (which you don't find veru often these days). The host was very kind, and she even prepared us breakfast very early in the morning on a saturday, since we had to catch our train.

The room is a bit small, but thats how all classic buildings are in Bruges. Nothing you can do about it.

We stayed for two nights in a clean and beautiful room with a super comfortable bed , a great bathroom with full shower and a delightful breakfast nook. Accommodations are tight as was expected but overall, there are plenty of ways to store belongings in drawers, hanging or tucked onto a shelf! Breakfast was delicious, abundant and delivered to our room. What a great way to start our day of touring Bruges ! Anne-Marie was sweet and helpful with everything we needed, and allowed us to drop off our bags early after arriving on the train. Our walk to the center of town was less than 10 minutes. The walk to Break@Bruges from the train station was about 10 minutes.

No one can control the weather, and it was unusually HOT (early September)!!! Perhaps a small desk size fan would have been nice for sleeping.

What a great place to stay in while visiting Bruges. Anne-Marie is a wonderful host, she is very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and everything was local and fresh!! The place is a walking distance from the trainstation and you can easily get everywehere. The room itself was very spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. If you are looking for a conveient location, great room, amazing breakfast and the best host you can wish for then look no more, this place is for you.

It is a small B&B, but we like it a lot. It was easily accessible, at a walking distance from the train station and from the city center. We arrived a little earlier and the hostess provided us with a self-check-in code. She was very kind and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the room was comfortable and clean.

The pillows were a little harder than what we would have liked.

Our hosts Peter and Marie-Ann were excellent, couldn't do enough for us, warm and welcoming. Lovely en-suite rooms with all toiletries.Breakfast was gorgeous, plenty of choice. We slept soundly every night on the comfy beds and despite how close we were to the centre, it was so quiet. I cannot say enough how much our family enjoyed staying here. PERFECT!

Coming home

Excellent location, close to the heart of the historic section - as well as a supermarket and restaurants. Hosts Ann-Marie and Peter were amazing - Ann-Marie even drove us to the station on our last morning. The room had everything we required and the breakfasts were sensational.

Stairs could be a challenge if you had any mobility problems - but our hosts insisted on carrying our suitcases up and down.

We just got back from a lovely stay at Brrak@Bruges. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked. Anne-Marie and Peter were very accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage at the property before heading off for some sightseeing after our very early flight. The accommodation is very well located, an easy 10-15 walk to the centre. When we got back for check in, our luggage had been placed in our room and we were given a very warm welcome by Anne-Marie. Breakfast time was the highlight of our stay and included freshly baked bread made by Peter and delicious jam made by Anne-Marie. The first morning breakfast was at their pretty restaurant and the second morning it was brought into our room. On our last morning we had to leave by 6 am and Anne-Marie made us sandwiches for our journey. She also added some little treats, which was really appreciated! Overall a great stay, we felt so welcome and would totally recommend it to anyone who is visiting Bruges.
