The shower was amazing! The bed was so comfortable, no noise at all from other areas. Couldn’t hear the rain or wind from outside. Good tv and music options in the room. The finer details were lovely coffee, mini bar, slippers etc. the hand steamer/iron was amazing, that I am now buying one for home!! The restaurant was 5* as were the staff. Sitting outside at 11pm under the beautiful canopy with the heaters mid November was so lovely - just added to a great experience in Bruges.

Bath towel and hand towel per person. Ideally as a woman I need an extra towel for a hair turban. I know I could have asked for one - just nice to already have one. Dressing gowns smelt musty.

The location is excellent in the Minnewater area, just a 10 minute stroll from the centre of Bruges. Our rooms (3&4) were quirky, well serviced. Breakfast delicious and varied.

Two things. There’s no inside lounge so the only place to relax outside the room is the outdoor area. It has heaters, blankets etc but was still too cold for comfort at the end of November when we were there. Noise insulation wasn’t very good between our adjoining rooms. Didn’t matter because we were a family group but might be disturbing if it’s strangers next door.

Everything really. Great location. Wonderful, friendly, and attentive staff all around. The hotel itself and the rooms are a bit compact, but luxurious and very comfortable. Beautiful, cigar friendly, adults only grounds to really relax. Easy to navigate, safe, and convenient parking.

Just a couple of small things: When it says parking charges "may" apply, they definitely do apply. The AC was kicked off somehow while we were out, and when we returned, we needed to wait until the restaurant was closed to reboot the system. The staff was very helpful and it turned out fine.

The room I was assigned was large and had a very relaxing design. The bathroom was huge and well appointed. The location on the park is lovely as is the area around the hotel and it is easily within walking distance of all of Brugge. The hotel’s restaurant is very good, if a little pricey, and also well designed - as is the outside seating area/bar.

My room was difficult to get to, requiring navigation of a maze of hallways and stairs. The staff graciously assisted me with my luggage and I needed it! With the exception of the restaurant, the common areas were tight to maneuver and since all staff used them, including the kitchen staff for the restaurant, the common areas could be busy.

We really liked the look of the hotel and the restaurant, we had dinner there on our first night and it was was delicious, breakfast was good too. The location was great, peaceful but so close to everything. There was a gorgeous covered outdoor area for drinks and snacks, this was really pretty and the heaters kept it cosy and warm.

Unfortunately we had a small ground floor room (room 3) which everyone had to walk past to get to and from reception . We couldn't open the curtains when we were inside without feeling very overlooked, which was a bit gloomy. There was also a smoking bench right outside our bedroom window which was very intrusive. We would stay again, but in a different room.

This is a really great boutique hotel; the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable, and the breakfasts and dinner were exceptional. The location was perfect, close to the main sights, but in quiet and green surroundings, and with car parking.

The electronic controls for the lighting and heating/cooling in the room were a bit complicated to understand at first. Also the smoking area was right outside our ground floor window, so we often had someone standing or sitting immediately outside. (However, these small issues did not spoil our stay which was extremely enjoyable.)

Modern and stylish retreat in a charming village. Gated and private parking. Check in was easy and fast. Welcomed w a free champagne voucher to use at the bar later. No elevator but staff carried our bag up the two flights of stairs. Room is decorated nicely and was spotless. Coffee and tea in the room, views of the Brugge tower, and good sized wardrobe for storage. Very walkable to restaurants and bars in the Center of Brugge. We didn’t eat there but the food looked and smelled delicious. If there were more hours in the day we would have loved to dine there. We did visit the bar for a night cap and even for a Tuesday it was busy. There are heaters spaced through out the tent and well lite.

Nothing to mention

The little extras (welcome drink & chocolates). The very attentive staff. The wonderfully renovated building and out door bar/tapas area. The big comfy bed. The amazing 3 tiered breakfast with hot options available too. We used to come to this hotel many year ago when it was The Edmond (faulty towers) always eventful. This now has such a chilled and lovely vibe. Staff go above and beyond.

Not an issue for us at all. But maybe mention the steps up to room in the roof on the website. Lucky we were 2 couples and we took this lovely room. However my in laws would never have got up there with their knees.

The food at the restaurant was exceptional and the room was cozy, clean, and nice with the fire place. Location is great, Minnewater is next to the lake of love so you’re steps away from all the chocolate shops in the center but just far enough to where the tourists and the noise don’t disturb you so you really get a good night’s rest in the comfy beds!

The staff was a bit rude at times specifically the waiters at dinner time. And when we asked the receptionist for a recommendation for where we should eat authentic food she just gave the classic tourist picks and didn’t really put an effort to tell us something more interesting/local.

Very nice hotel, very pleasant staff and good location. The hotel is located around a 10 minute walk to the square, its tucked away down a quiet little street with parking available. To park on the road in Bruges its about 17 euro per day, the hotel charges 20 per day ( 2023 ) which was our preferred parking, the hotel smelt lovely and felt very nice, the restaurant and outdoor seating ( heated with fire ) were also lovely. We checked into a budget room or small room which we stayed in for 2 nights, it was small but we did know this upon booking, it was very clean and perfectly adequate for our needs, If going back to Bruges I would stay here again. A lovely welcome drink in the bar on the evening was a nice touch.

The only thing for me I didn't particularly like was the parking charges, this is not a negative. If you check into a hotel and are staying there I feel you should not pay to park at the place you stay at, however this is my own opinion. Most hotels in Bruges do this, it has not put me off staying there and I would stay at the hotel again as its lovely.
