This accomodation was nicer than I expected, the section I stayed in was very modern and had nice fixtures / furnishings. I was upgraded from a 10-person mixed dorm to a 4-person female only dorm which was really kind and appreciated - staff was great. Great location that’s easily accessible by foot and there’s buses close by too.

The common sitting area was dirtier than I would have liked e.g sand on the couches but this is more the guests than the hostel staff. Floor towels in the bathrooms need to be changed much more often as they were very wet from the previous person showering and the showers smelt of mould as there’s no windows or extraction fans.

Exceptional staff+++ I've never stayed in the hostel for such a small price with the amenities that that one had : great location, super responsive (plus nice and humane) staff, great decoration (despite being a little bit shabby - but it also tells its story!), in the antique house, very close to the historical center... - Just 10 of 10 to the staff for their efforts to maintain availability of Bruges to the tourists like me! Thanks!! You are doing great!!! I wish you to have more responsible guests... but, people are just people... So, anyway, thank you for keeping doing your job at the very best level!

some neighbours from the other rooms (guys) were drunk, but, of course, it's not the responsibility of the hostel, it's just how people spend their weekends in Bruges)) I do advise to keep the room closed with the key when you enter or leave your room ) just to prevent neighbours' tries of bothering you)

Great open area with a bar and kitchen to socialise and super friendly hotel staff. The breakfast was great too. Very tidy rooms, comfortable mattresses and bathrooms were pretty much new. Hostel is in walking distance to the city center, main train station and a long term parking for under 3€/day.

Could do with a few clothes hooks in the rooms to hang jackets or towels. You‘ll order breakfast with a staff member and it comes in a box from from an adjacent hotel. This was a bit weird especially if there‘s no staff around in the morning.

The hostel was really well fitted out for such a traditional building with amazing traditional features in the communal areas and smart modern decor and finishes in the dorm. The hostel is also really well located for access to the train/bus station and the old town.

My only complaint/suggestion is that the communal fridge isn’t accessible while the kitchen/bar area is locked off. I had to check-out early in the morning at which time I wouldn’t have been able to collect my food so I had to remove it from the fridge before the kitchen closed which meant I had to worry about the food spoiling in the heat of the dorm over night. Perhaps the fridge could be located in one of the areas that is not locked over night?

I never stay in hostels but because a one night stay and high hotel rates o booked this hostel! The staff were incredibly nice especially the volunteer staff but also front desk! I booked in the new section with four bunks and it was great! Bathrooms are stone and all new! Highly recommend!

Meg tying your sheets and making your own bed could be easily done by staff and add to the positive experience! The main rec room needs an update as does the communal kitchen which I didn’t use.

The location is perfect - within walking distance of all the sights. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small, but you could manage preparing food on the large tables in the spacious dining room. I even liked the music that was playing in the bar area. Romanian, Brazilian, etc., giving it a great international vibe.

A little disappointed that none of the social fun n games, advertised online (pub quiz, karaoke, card games, etc.) didn't happen. This is not the fault of the management, but the other guests just weren't interested.

I love the atmosphere in the hostel. There's a great common area and kitchen. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The hostel is in a perfect location and easy to find.

The rooms could be improved with lockers and hooks. Also, the common area (which includes the kitchen and fridge) doesn't open until 8:30am so you can't keep food in the fridge for breakfast if your bus leaves in the morning.

Good and quiet location, beautiful building and atmosphere, clean common spaces, comfortable beds. We didn't try the breakfast but we are sure that it was delicious. Very nice bar with good beer. Very good price. We slept in the 4bed room, it was really fun with the bunk beds and the square in the wall with the reading lamp is really cute, you can put your favourite things there.

The common room isn't open early in the morning and the guests should keep the bathrooms cleaner. It would be nice to have little jacket hangers on the bedroom wall.

Stylish hostel in an excellent location. The common room area is stunning. The kitchen is clean with good equipment. I stayed in the back building and the rooms are beautifully renovated and the bathroom is spotlessly clean.

On a Sunday night the kitchen and common room are locked when reception closes at 8pm. My room card was not keyed correctly to access the back building rear door and I could not access through the kitchen. There is no after hours calling option, the phone rings in the unmanned office. There were 6 different people unable to get into our building at 9pm. This system needs to be improved in an otherwise excellent hostel.

Great location, few mins to the main square Big common area Room had a wash basin and drinking water Nice comfy bed

Low number of bathrooms and toilets, lot of waiting in morning, need to try multiple times to get slot Lot of noise through the night. They need to tell guests to tone down or put a time limit. Bathrooms not the most clean Awkward stairs. No lift. They give a thick blanket even in summer. You start sweating inside. Mosquitoes, they can give a repellant device No curtains for windows. So you get full sunlight on face at 5 AM
