Laurence and her father were the perfect hosts - knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is a good example of the neo-gothic style, with stepped brickwork coming down the front gable. It is in a quiet cobbled alley, very close to the centre. Inside the house is clean and sympathetically updated, with comfortable rooms (about 10-12 I would say). The stairs are a bit creaky, which is not surprising, but that enhances the charm of the place. We only stayed 2 nights but this hotel made a big impression on us, and we would have gladly stayed longed if it had not been for our tightly planned schedule. Breakfast not to be missed - top notch!!. Would go back in a heartbeat

The location is 5 minutes to the centre of the city with bars to bike rentals and canals 2-3 minute walk away. The main train station is 10 minutes walk. The dining area is a cute cozy place and we enjoyed the quiet conversations and breakfast, great way to start the day. The view from the room is time travelling to medieval times. The hosts are warm and pretty much provide you with the info and link to resources you would need for the trip. 10/10 recommended if you have a mid and above budget for the stay in Bruges.

The cleaning staff was nice. The owner was also friendly. The radiator worked well to dry wet clothes. The location is also ideal. Not central that it's noisy, but also not far from convenience stores and some tourist spots. They offered lots of towels, coffee and tea, and really good bedding. No toothbrush, but we bring our own anyway. The shower was also easy to use, though does take a minute or two to get warm.
The heater had a hard time warming the entire room even at max setting. It would get especially cold at dawn. The view was also rooftop and nice, but beware of stairs. You can also hear the snoring from the other room, but it's not something that bothered me. The wifi was decent, enough for basic streaming or browsing. Not for those who need to transfer gigs of data fast. Be careful of leaving the window open too wide as I had a mosquito bothering me my entire stay. It may bother you, but if it rains, you hear every drop because they hit the window. I'd also add slippers would have been nice to have.

Cute old-style hotel which was nonetheless clean and comfortable. Extremely well-located.
Charged extra for arriving after 8pm, which is in the booking info but still unreasonable. After 11pm check is not possible at all. Travel time from the airport is not entirely within one's control. There is no lift and the stairs are steep - not ideal for people with any kind of mobility issues. Being old, it's all creaky - not an issue for us but soundproofing is not great so it may bother some.

Close to the town centre, the room and bathroom was spotless, very nice, firm comfortable pillow!
It is an old building and the room is therefore not soundproof. Sounds from other guests on the stairs and walking around in room above can be disturbing.

The hotel is in the city center, in 5 minutes walking you can reach the Burg place. The room was simple but it had all the main accessories (kettle, coffee, etc), in my opinion the bed was very comfortable and we had a silent night. At the check in the owner gave us a map indicating the main touristic points. Breakfast is organized in a nice room overlooking a green yard, it was varied both sweet and savory and they were also organized with gluten free bread (I informed them previously I cannot eat gluten). Every morning we found on the table fresh fruits (strawberries, cherries).

Very warm welcome by the owners, a father, and his daughter. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. We got a lot of tips from the owners which really helped moving around. The location was amazing, so close to the city center. Aircondition available, easy to walk in even late at night. We loved our stay!
The only hiccup during the stay was the last day when we came back to the hotel to pick up our bags after checking out. It took some time for the owners to open the door which made us nervous to miss the bus. All went well in the end.

Excellent location in a quiet area away from the tourist crowds. Walking distance from the train station and the main attractions. Staff was very welcoming and gave us some recommendations for our trip. View was great, very comfortable bed and the room was clean. Breakfast buffet looked very good and popular, but we didn't try it. Keep in mind there is no elevator but the stairs are wide enough to climb up with a large luggage.
All good.

Super friendly people, nice and quite hotel in a beautiful corner away from noise from tourists, but at wlaking distance of most of the important sights and amenities. They serve a very nice breakfast (for an extra 19 Euros) that had everything you may want. We checked out at 10 am, but they also allowed us to leave our luggage all day with them.
I wished there was a better TV or cable selection. However, if you are in Brugge and you are watching TV you are not doing it right! I want to stress that this was a very minor point and did not affect my stay in any way. The people at this hotel are lovely.

Location, as it was close to the centre and not excessively far from the station. The owners were kind and always ready to help, made you feel at home. Breakfast was expensive but worth to pay as food was fresh and delicious, and it was a buffet so you could eat as much as you liked! I ended up having breakfast there every single day during my 6 nights stay!
There were two single beds put together instead of one double bed. Could hear upstairs neighbours, quite annoying.
