Great location. Everything within walking distance. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Hotel even better than photos portrayed.

Building work going on which started early in morning and woke us up.

The location was perfect. There is a parking garage nearby 3 mins walking distance from the hotel where i paid 15.6€ per day. The city is fully accessible by foot, there were lots of good restaurants around (not tourist trap). The Otto wafers which is just a few steps away was also a highlight. The reception staff was super friendly and helpful (she gave us good recommendations to restaurants that avoided tourist trap, also recommended us good waffels place, and helped us with good advices to pharmacy when we need some remedy for a friend who was not feeling well). The room is nice and clean. The breakfast selection is indeed a highlight to me. Definitely recommended.

The hotel was very conveniently located and everything was no more than a 15 minute walk away. It was by several shops and restaurants. We took the train in and it was walkable from the train station (keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage it's all cobble stone streets). The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! The cleaning staff did an amazing job as well! Our room was spacious and bright! It had more amenities than we needed!

Our room was on the first floor and the window faced the street so it was a bit noisy at times. However, this did not bother us.

The hotel was very well placed, being a comfortable walk from the train, the delightful shops, historical buildings and restaurants/cafes. Each morning we enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast with lots of variety and terrific coffee. We loved our stay and felt very welcome there from the check-in process through to checking out. We heard no noise from other rooms or traffic, and the rooms was wonderfully comfortable and clean. Thanks for making our experience in Brugge such a special one.

We hated leaving! We have had friends asking us about our stay as they are planning on travelling to Belgium and are keen to visit Brugge due to our glowing recommendations. I suspect more Australians will be staying at this Dukes' Academie Brugge.

Nice building, newly renovated, very good breakfast but sometimes very busy. Clean rooms and good room service.

Limited and expensive parking facilities, but the Interparking multi-storey car park was cheaper, but because of the one-way streets it’s several minutes away by car. Also, the Interparking facilties are quite difficult to use if you have a big car, because the parking spaces are very narrow. I liked the Dukes Academie Hotel very much, but if I visit Bruges again, I would probably choose a different hotel due to the limited and expensive- parking facilities.

Friendly helpful staff. We were very late arriving but when we contacted them they said no problem and it wasn't. Bar open till 12pm with range of local ales served very carefully. Excellent breakfast choice with plenty of space in room. Easy to reach other parts of Brugge.

Nothing to do with hotel but got lost on first walkabout town. Ok once you get your bearings. Very busy in Brugge but most places seem to start closing down around 9pm during the week. Admittedly not many tourists around at that time either.

We had a lovely big room which had recently been refurbished Lovely and bright, clean and comfortable. We always stay here when we visit Bruges as the breakfast has got to be one of the best we have ever experienced We have already booked to stay again later in the year Location is great, only 15 minutes walk from the train station, with a few bars and restaurants nearby if you don't want to go to the main square and a brewery just 2 minutes away The staff are always great and cannot be faulted for their professionalism

The bathroom towels could have been a little bigger and there was some noise from the stairs leading to the top floor, but these are just minor It's a great hotel in a fab location

BREAKFAST! The best hotel breakfast I have ever had, honestly. Bruges is a little tricky for food... always so busy everywhere you try to eat and the food is very heavy so a great varied breakfast is essential. This hotel offered the absolute best breakki. The bar was nice to have. The garden is beautiful although very quiet with zero music... The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The decor is spot on, too. Modern and clean.

The only part I didn't like was the smell that came from the bathroom sink/shower but I guess that's something to do with the sewage system in an old town like Bruges.

It is like a brand new hotel and extremely clean. Great location. The bed was very comfortable and there was no noise from the outside. Then there is the breakfast. What a choice! I don't think they have missed out a single thing that you could want for breakfast and it was displayed beautifully. The staff were very helpful as well. We have already discussed coming back later in the year and staying here.

Not a lot that they can do about it to be fair but the car park was very tight but still a bonus to have one to be honest and very secure. It wouldn't put me off using it again.

Amazing location easy walk from the main station and also well located in the city for all the sights too. Brugge is small so nothing is more than a 30 minutes walk anyway. But if you drive (and park at the train station) in or come in by train it's particularly good because it's only a short walk with all of your bags. Staff we super polite and friendly. The breakfast buffet was extremely diverse and well stocked - they even had Decaf coffee (including Lattes and Cappuccinos) in the coffee machine and that never happens!! I travel a lot and this breakfast was particularly good value for money.

I don't think I can think of anything bad to say :)
