The hotel and rooms were lovely and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very nice. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast choices. The Location and view from our room was amazing. Really loved this hotel and would stay again.

Kettle or hot drinks making facilities in the rooms would have been lovely. The beds kept slipping apart but they are very comfy so could live with that. Can be noisy outside from around 6am from the trucks delivery food etc to all the restaurants. Depsite the above I would stay here again the hotel was amazing.

We came to Bruges to see the Champions League against Juventus (we are English-neutral football fans) as well as enjoy some sightseeing. The hotel is in a great location on the corner of the historic square just above the restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and we ate at the restaurant which had a great atmosphere. Breakfast was good and it was nice to chat to some Juve fans who were stopping at the Central too (sadly the game was 0-0 bore draw)

It feels like it is just establishing itself as a hotel and at the moment there isn't a reception as such. The rooms lacked "character" when compared to the historic area. They appear very recently constructed and quite basic in style - though perfectly clean and adequate.

Hotel Central is located right in the heart of Bruges and is absolutely the place to stay if you want to explore the city. The price is quite reasonable considering its central location. The breakfast is also ample and satisfying. Finding the entrance is not difficult; just look up at the signs and enter through the middle of the restaurant. The doors close at 11 p.m., so it’s a good idea to remember your key. Everything is within a 10-15 minute walking distance at most (even to the farthest spots). The hotel staff have been there for a long time, so they’re very helpful in every way. The room size is adequate, especially if you're staying for a short period.

The only improvement could be better heating in the hotel room. The bathroom in our room had a radiator set to quite a high temperature, but it wasn’t entirely sufficient for the room itself. We weren’t freezing or uncomfortable, but it would have been nice if it were a bit warmer since Bruges is a rather cold city. Other than that, I think everything was fantastic.

The hotel is not a typical hotel as there is no lobby / lounge etc. You walk through the resturant and a staff member gives you the key and explains the house rules. The rooms were good, quite basic but VERY comfortable, the bed was one of the best I've slept in. The shower was great and the bathroom is big. There is no coffee, tea or kettle or room service but that didn't bother us. The location is fantastic, it's right on the square, convenient to everything, what it lacks in amentities makes up for in location. There are plenty of restuarants to visit for breakfast/lunch or dinner but the food we did see at the hotel looked great.

It didn't affect me but if you had reduced mobility, there isn't a lift and a few stairs to the first floor.

Stunning location in the Market Square of Bruges overlooking the Belfry. The options for breakfast had a large variety and great quality. Meals are decently priced and sublime in terms of taste and portion size. The room was more like an apartment as it was huge for the price we paid. The staff are very friendly and attentive and once you get to know each other you can have a good laugh and a joke with them. If you’re looking for a place to stay that allows you to sample all the things Bruges has to offer then look no further than Hotel Central. It’s been the best place we’ve stayed in Bruges on our multiple visits and we will definitely stay there again in future.

Hotel Central has nothing to improve upon itself. Sometimes the deliveries that are made in the mornings can be a little noisy but you don’t notice them the majority of the time and it’s expected given the fact you’re in a Belfry View Room, which is magical to wake up to each morning.

Very ‘ central’! Hard to be any more so. With the free shuttle bus from the station it is quite easy to get to. Very friendly staff, quite excellent breakfast. Room very satisfactory with an excellent shower.

Check in was only after 3 pm and they do not have a baggage room so leaving them means they are just in a corridor open to all. Just something to consider. Our room was upstairs on the first floor and the only ‘window’ was in the separate bathroom and it was not able to open very wide. If visiting in summer consider that some rooms will be a bit stuffy.

True to its name, the hotel is centrally located at the very heart of Bruge. I was surprised to know that you would have to enter through the restaurant to go to your hotel room. There was no formal reception, but the restaurant staff will receive you with much enthusiasm. The breakfast, was amazingly good! they have the best croissant! We only stayed for 2 days, and Hotel Central made it more convenient and memorable. Shoutout to Pierre and the whole restaurant staff for being so friendly and accommodating!

There was not lift, so be ready to carry your luggage up the stairs.

The location is perfect right on the market! The hotel was clean and had what we needed. There is a restaurant under the hotel but it closes at a decent hour so not too noisy right under the hotel. Food and service at the hotel and restaurant was delicious!

No air conditioning, but not many places in Belgium have air conditioning. My family & extended family booked several rooms in the hotel and none had a mini fridge, but for us that was not an issue as we stayed one night. In summer months, windows need to be open for air flow which can be noisy due to the people out late at night in the market. This is more informational comments than “dislikes.” We loved the place.

The location is unbeatable and fantastic, the hotel is in front of the principal square so you can reach every place in minutes. The personel is so kind and they help you in any moment. The hotel is on a restaurant, this is strange but good because you can eat local food or drink the best beer at any time (obviously not for free). The room is beatiful, is very big and modern, looks like a deparment, the rooms loke that they are new and are very clean. The room view I had was amazing. Definitely it was the best hotel I stayed in all my eurotrip.
