The location is not close to the center BUT the Velotel offers taxi vouchers to the center for a fixed price - 12 EUR. It is a convenient option to have and they call the taxi for you. Another wonderful thing that really made our time spent so efficient was the receptionist - Preben T. His recommendations and sense of humor were spot on. Everything he pointed on the Brugge map they give at the hotel just made our day, we did not miss anything important to taste or visit for the day and a half we were staying. We would come revisit again because of the warm welcome and help he gave us. Thank you once again!

Just the location being a little remote from the center for walking, some 40 minutes. However, the surrounding area is very green and relaxing. So you trade the tourist madness with this peaceful place. Also, it would be nice to have a USB charging station/plug/outlet.

Really enjoyed our stay in this bike themed hotel. In addition to the facilities I knew about, it was also lovely to find a room with games, such as chess and fuzball. There was also a vending machine in reception and complementary iced tea at the end of the afternoons, which was a nice touch. Great breakfast with good choices (and at €17 when paying directly at the hotel - though going up to €18 in the new year). Found this to be good value for Bruges. Bus was very easy to use and was actually free for 2 of the days we were there (for Bruges shopping days - 22 days during Nov / Dec). Otherwise it was €2.50 per person. (Reception can also give you a voucher for a taxi into the centre for €12). Bus goes every 20 mins. (Sometimes comes 2 mins early). Hired city bikes at €8 each for a half day (9 a.m. - 3 p.m) and cycled out to Blankenberge. Was also pleased to find it was very easy to go for a jog / run from the hotel, with a park and green areas right outside. Although you need a reservation for lunch or dinner at the hotel, you can have tapas in the bar without reservations, which is a good alternative. Parked on the street for duration of stay without any issues, though there is a free outdoor car park (with several EV chargers) as well as the covered indoor parking. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Bruges. (Just wouldn't go for the superior room next time, as although the glass walled bathrooms look nice, once the curtain is pulled, your roommate is effectively stuck in the main room area, unless you don't mind the lack of privacy! Not everyone's cup of tea!) Staff also very friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean. Would recommend!

Great location with easy access to Bruges centre and a free busy service on the weekend! Great friendly staff who are very happy to help and give advice on the surroundings along with recommendations. Rooms are modern and have everything you need. Hotel has great facilities even a foosball table which provided some nice entertainment.

Random loud vibrating/drilling sound intermittently coming from the bathroom that we couldn’t identify why. Shower drips if not turned off at the right angle. Had to wipe the toilet seat on arrival as it wasn’t fully clean and had to request more pillows as the ones given were lumpy and uncomfortable. Having said the above, staff provided more pillows upon request and we did not say any of the other issues to the staff as we sorted the toilet seat ourselves and got on with the noise. I believe the staff would have rectified everything I have mentioned above if we said :)

The pricing was quite sensible. Premises were modern albeit functional. While I might find quite a few things to complain about (in terms of volumes) but in terms of them detracting from the pleasant experience - there were hardly any. Would strongly recommend folks to try the hotel.

The safe didnt work in the room inspite of us and the hotel trying. A reservation system operated for the sauna which meant we couldnt use it (slots were only available in the afternoon when we werent there at the hotel or in the evening when we were quite tired). The bathroom door had glass. I wish we were told about this during reservation - my kid had to leave the room when my wife was using the bathroom. The soap was in plastic tubes - I wish dispenser was used - too much of plastic waste.

We arrived for a 3 night stay and paid 5 euros per night to put our car in the covered garage which is situated next to the hotel. The hotel has a vibrant feel to it and check in was easy and staff were very helpful in giving us information. We travelled into Bruges by bus on both days as the bus stops directly outside the hotel and drops off in the market place in the centre of Bruges. It was so easy and convenient. Bikes are available to hire but we didnt use them. The bedroom was very comfortable with a huge opening window overlooking the countryside. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice and we ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings as it proved to be very good value compared to prices of restaurants in Bruges. The food in the restaurant is of a very high quality and I would recommend it. Home made breads and beautifully presented food. The menu is a set price for either 1 2 or 3 courses. Very good value.

We traveled with our two year old and had just been in the car for hours. So it was a very welcome surprise to see the lovely garden area with playground, trampoline and bouncy castle as we arrived!!! The staff were so friendly, welcoming, accommodating and helpful. We also found that a cot had been setup with extra mattress and bedding - we didn’t request it, but it was so helpful, saving us a lot of hassle! Just what tired travellers needed! We will be coming back here for sure!

Our room could have been a little cleaner - odd spec of dust here and there, but nothing major.

The location is really great especially if you're driving. Just 8 minutes from the city centre. Restaurant and cafe were really nice, and I really liked the breakfast service Finally, staff were excellent

Rooms could have been a bit cleaner (walls were a bit dirty and we noticed some shoe marks). No issue with the hygiene of course, it just that it doesn't get the full marks. Finally, room service was late to clean our room. On our third day we didn't get our room cleaned because we returned back at 3pm and the cleaners had not yet cleaned our room.

Perfect hotel as first time visitors to Brugge. Lovely room, incredibly clean and very spacious. Staff were so lovely and very helpful. I contacted in advance about a request which was actioned very quickly and I found the portal you can log into prior to your stay really useful. A lot of information was provided at check-in about the hotel, local area and transport advice. As we have never stayed in Belgium before we especially appreciated the bus advice and the taxi voucher made it really easy for us to get back as I was worried about trying to get a taxi (we are from the UK). Will definitely be staying again. Had there have been room at the same hotel we would have extended our stay no question!

The only slight downside was having only one pillow each - but one spare was available in the wardrobe.

Friendly and helpful staff sanitised and clean surfaces, lovely bar/restaurant to sit in and relax, good breakfasts. Spacious, clean modern building in a very quiet area with indoor and outdoor carparks. Indoir carpark and bicycle store/hire under one roof in lovely modern build block. Holiday apartments in another modern block on the same complex in a leafy green parkland area over one mile away from the town, and just adjacent to a canal, across the road from a modern industrial park. Whole area quiet and peaceful. Regular (every 20 mins approx) bus service - no. 5 bus - to town. Above all. what makes this place special is the helpfulness and professionalism of all the staff.

It's a bit far from town, so you have to rely on the bus. Great if you're cycling, though, as there is cycle hire on site. If you don't intend to cycle, or you don't have a car,, you cannot stay around town too late, as the last bus back to the hotel is at around 8pm from town. So it means you can't get to experience Bruges at night or eat out there. I would have liked a bigger rubber bath mat in the walk-in shower, as one mat doesn't cover the whole walk-on area when you are exiting the shower - thie surface very shiny and un- textured. Also, there were too many shampoo bottles and only one shower gel bottle every day after the room cleaning was done. There was never enough shower gel!

Extremely comfortable bed and large rooms. Had the option to pick up a taxi token which you can use to get you to and from the centre for a very good price. Staff were so helpful and gave us loads of information when we arrived. We had breakfast on our last last and it was one of the best buffet breakfasts I've eaten. It was about 25 minute (nice) walk into town which did bother us but after a long day out a taxi is a good idea.

Only had a coffee machine in our room so my partner couldn't have a tea and had paper cups. Would have been better with a china mug and the bath was quite tight but very hot water!
