It is a rare occasion that a place of stay manages to exceed the expectations, but that was the case with Bariseele and the host Benny. Hospitality was unmatched as we had the feeling of being among friends, and that's saying something coming from ever-so-reserved Finns. We arrived late, but it was prearranged and we had no problems whatsoever. Room was quaint and really to our liking, and handy room-served breakfast was comprehensive. Location near city centre within a walking distance was a plus and the room was tidy, cozy and quiet, which was a big plus. As for the host, if always doing what one likes to do means not working a day in life, then Benny hasn't worked a day; incredible guy, much respect for making us feel at home. There really wasn't anything we could complaint about, it's a place for our liking, especially the service.

Very comfortable spacious clean room with all that you could ask for, well stocked honesty bar (pay for what you use), really comfy bed and bathroom with great shower / bath. Both Paul & Benny were excellent hosts, Paul booking us in out of hours with guidance on a restaurant on our evening arrival in Brugge (best meal of our stay). Benny with a warm welcome the following morning, arranging a taxi for departure and a carry out breakfast. Great location a comfortable stroll of 10 minutes to the main square. Excellent communication throughout our stay with many recommendations. Loved it.

Not a real dislike, stairs are steep so may be tough for some if on the top floor. Again not a dislike but personal preference, breakfast, swap out bread, spreads for fresh pastries.

It was a very nice place, a little away from the crowd of tourists. Large bright room, huge bathroom. It was very convenient to use the parking and it cost 2 times cheaper than in central hotels. The place is only 10-15 minutes from all the central attractions and it is very quiet. Breakfast was a nice complimentary addition. This is a family business and the owners (Benny and Paul) were really helpful and friendly. They gave very useful tips about restaurants. Really recommend!

The only thing to keep in mind is that the house has quite a steep staircase, so this property is not suitable for children. But as a bonus, we had a beautiful view of the church, where in the evening we listened to Bach played on the organ

Location close to center of Bruge (on the north side a bit further from the train station). Breakfast was good and probably too much food for two people. There is a code to get into the B&B at night but each unit has its own physical key. Place is charming and has a neat history that is well preserved in the room. Host can be a little quirky.

Air conditioning only output heat which was bad given how hot it was getting. If your unit is on the ground floor, privacy feels a little less given a lot of activity happening right outside your bedroom window and the street. If it is hot, the window is open and you/they hear everything. Host can be a little too quirky.

The property was in a quiet street about 10 minutes walk from the Market Square. Our hosts were very welcoming. Our apartment was on the ground floor. It comprised bedroom, shower-room and sitting-room. The rooms were bright and very clean. The furnishings were all in excellent condition .There was a well-stocked minibar and facilities to make tea, coffee and snacks.Microwave was provided too. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Toiletries were provided too. An excellent continental style breakfast was delivered to our door in the morning.. The wifi worked well.

I have absolutely no complaints about this property. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends.

Having travelled to more than 60 countries spending about 3 months a year overseas, Bariseele B&B is one of the best short stay apartments I have ever stayed in. Benny and Paul are great hosts and it is obvious they take great pride in the service they provide. The rooms provide everything a person would need at the highest quality. The breakfast is more than anyone could possible eat, presented in a lovely manner. We couldn't rate this property any higher.

If anything the internet was a bit flakey at times, however we could still stream from Netflix.

The location of the properly is perfect, just a couple of minutes walk outside the busy area which meant it was nice and quiet but you’re close enough to get to everything very easily. The room was big and spacious with a comfortable bed Having the breakfast delivered to the room every morning was a real bonus. The food was great and plentiful to set you up for a day exploring Brugge. Some excellent recommendations for places to eat as well, definitely check these out before you book anywhere

Not a single thing

If you are going to Bruges....or near it...stay here. The place is fantastic. Comfortable, spacious, clean. Breakfast is brought to your room every day... a wonderful way to wake up. Sore from a lot of walking, there is a sauna on-site, but there is also a tub that fits someone over 6 feet tall....with room for one more. Walkable to EVERYTHING. We saw everything we wanted to and didn't get in our car once we arrived in Bruges. Benny, our host, was the best host I have ever experienced. Pleasant and extremely helpful. I got a weird ticket in Gent that wasn't in English and I gave Benny the money and he was able to get it paid for me. A load off my mind. He offered a ton of suggestions on what to do and where to go. 11 out of 10.

There was nothing not to like.

It was spacious, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Benny and Paul are gracious, helpful with anything we needed, and a great resource of information. Breakfast was plentiful, with nice variety. They exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend their B&B.

It wasn’t an issue for us, but I will note the steep stairs to the uppermost room could be a problem for some people. There is a room on the first floor, though.

This is a historic charming building set only 10 minutes from the central square. There are free buses to the station and the stop is close to the venue. I loved the room itself which was on the top floor with a marvellous view of the street and the pretty church. There were lovely windows, the beams and the massive bathroom all added to the charm. The unique breakfast was the highlight, served in our room with such thoughtfulness and care.
