A wonderful hotel in the old city of Bruges, set away from the busier touristy centre so it is quiet, but all sites of interest is still close enough to be easily walkable. The host Paul was on hand to help with any issue and advice on the city. Room was a little small but very comfortable, and kept clean. Breakfast is available at the dining room with a limited but tasty selection of meats and cheeses. Eggs are available on request. Overall I highly recommend the Fevery to all 👍

Room cleaning happens very early, before breakfast even ends. Some rooms were left unattended with the doors wide open and other guest's belongings visible. Tea and coffee is available by the reception when it is open, but it would be nice for it to be in the room as well. However free water from the fountain is available at any time.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our three days in Bruges, and our stay at the Hotel Fevery certainly contributed to that. Our room was bright, attractive, in excellent condition and very quiet. There is a lift/elevator and our rooms was nicely serviced each morning. The location suited us: in the first place we liked being just outside the area where services for tourists are concentrated but just a short walk from numerous and varied restaurants and cafés. Secondly, thanks to the bus lines of the public transport network it was easy to reach not only all of the major sights but also the main train station. Indeed bus #2 provides a sort of mini sightseeing tour. What is rather exceptional in 2024 is that the Hotel Fevery is a small, private, owner-managed hotel: guests are greeted by name, and breakfast is tailored to some extent to guests' requests

Bruges seems to be an expensive place for travellers. In any case we felt that our room was rather expensive in relation to prices in very many middle-size cities in western Europe.

This is a very nice and cosy, privately run hotel. You get the feeling the owners do real effort to make the stay comfortable, you are taken care of. The bed is fantastic, and what is more fantastic is the pillows! This is the first hotel ever which has pillows which keep form and do not get into a flat something even after the whole night! The location is super quiet. As well as the other lodgers: as soon as the clock strikes 11 pm, everyone goes dead silent. I guess the owners' attitude is an important factor here: signs about keeping quiet at night are everywhere, which is perfect for such quietness fanatics as myself :-)

Before the bedtime, it can be a bit noisy, because the facility is quite old, and floors/ceilings/walls are not fully sound proof, especially when it comes to footsteps. But again, since everyone observes quiet hours, this is hardly a drawback.

Paul was above and beyond welcoming us into his beautiful hotel. Our room was beautiful, extremely clean, and with a little window to the city's roofs. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance from the city center. Paul, kindly gave us instructions on how to explore the picturesque city of Bruges. Continental breakfast was delicious, on the second morning of our stay, Paul did know what we like to eat. We stayed four nights and we truly enjoyed our time in Hotel Fevery! Thank you Paul for being so kind to us. We had a fantastic welcome and stay!

Paul was a lovely host. The hotel is really quaint with a great sense of old world style. It's in a really quiet neighborhood in old Brugge and the breakfast is great too. It's also really easy to get to from the station from the number 2 bus which you can pay for by tapping a credit card. A couple of things to be aware of but aren't negatives are that the stairs are steep as it is an old house. Also the top room has a few steps in it to get to the bathroom and a low ceiling in places.

Paul who runs the Fevery was very accommodating throughout our stay. He messaged before we arrived to ensure we had parking arranged and everything set for our stay. We arrived a couple hours early before checking and Paul ensured the room was sorted for us. Nothing was ever too much for him throughout our stay. We had to leave before 8am on our last day and he made us up breakfast bags so we had something for the drive. The beds were comfy and clean we couldn’t fault anything.

The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice on the continental breakfast & Paul the owner went out of his way to oblige with facts of Bruge & advice. It would of been nice to have tea making facilities in the room , although you could get it from the reception carrying it upstairs i was always concerned about spilling it. But other than that everything was perfect & would definitely recommend staying here. Warm, friendly, clean & great position.

no tea making facilities in the room as stated above, but available downstairs.

Really well run hotel, Paul and his family are very hardworking and dedicated and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel was easy to contact prior to our arrival to arrange car parking. Breakfast included was an added bonus - fresh tea, coffee, eggs, bread, croissants and condiments etc. set us up for the day. Very clean and comfortable room - bed big and comfy, English channels on the TV and quiet in the night. Location excellent - 10/15 minute walk into the main square where all the shops are. We particularly liked the tea/coffee making facilities so we could take a cuppa up to the room.

I loved the personal touch of this hotel. It has a small number of rooms. Paul the owner is a lovely host. Very helpful & always interested in the guests offering advice. Our flight home was early & so we missed breakfast. Paul sent a breakfast pack to our room for the 6 of us. Such a kind & thoughtful gesture. The breakfast each morning was great with a tasty selection of fresh bread, crossiants, waffles etc.

Nothing.

The Hotel Fevery is a lovely boutique hotel in a quiet area, but within a 1km walk to the main market square. The room was very clean, had everything you needed even a great hairdryer, not the usual rubbish one in the bathroom, but a proper one. Paul made a very nice breakfast every day, we had bread, toast, rolls, jams etc. Ham, salami, cheese as well as waffles and he also gave us a soft boiled egg every day and made pancakes one day too. You could have tea, coffee as well as apple or orange juice. In reception there was a small fridge with drinks in you could buy for very reasonable prices and the selection of beer there was great. You could also get soft drinks, crisps and chocolate too at reasonable prices. There was also free tea and coffee you could make to suit in reception as well. There were glass bottles in each room filled with fresh water, which you could refill from reception, which meant you did not have to buy plastic bottles from the supermarket and carry back to the hotel. Paul was great in recommending bars/ restaurants and also helped one of my friends with her travel plans from Bruges to Dunkirk via public transport. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

One of my friends remarked that although you could get free tea/coffee from reception, they would have preferred tea making facilities in the room, to make it easier to have a drink first thing in the morning rather than having to go to reception. I would have like to see some drawers in the room to put smalls in. That said there was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe with enough hangers, something you don't get in other hotels.
