Great location, in a peaceful historic part of town only 10 minute walk into the centre. Very good breakfast selection served across a generous window 8-10. Lovely spacious room and very comfortable bed. We paid a bit more for a superior room. Friendly staff. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out to spend our final day in Bruges.

We didn’t much like the paper cups provided for tea/coffee in the room and would have preferred proper cups. Also milk portions instead of powdered creamer sachets, but only a minor negative. When making the booking we we were told we couldn’t check in late as nobody on reception up to 10pm. We subsequently changed our Eurostar booking to an earlier train to avoid any problem. However during our stay there was always somebody on reception during those hours so that messaging was a little confusing!

Lovely hotel in a nice quiet location just outside the busy areas but only a 10/15 walk (with young kids) to the centre. The decor was great. The family room with adjoining room was perfect for us with plenty of space for 4. Breakfast was great, loads of choice and availability. Staff were excellent, always friendly and happy to help.

The walls and floors/ceilings are very thin with little soundproofing (to be expected in the old buildings). Unfortunately an with some noisy neighbours above but no fault of the hotels.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location and quite area at night, very close to the bus stop, well connected with the city centre and the station, small walking distance to the city centre. Hotel was clean and bed was very comfortable, warm bedroom, breakfast was excellent but small choice. Very nice hotel, we will book again if we will come back to Bruges.

A few hair found on tiles in the bathroom. Second day of our stay they didn't make the bed/bedroom. Everywhere else was clean and perfect.

The hotel was lovely and in a very quiet location with a splendid church across the road and a rather good restaurant call Tom's Diner which they recommended nearby. There was a lift, my room was very quiet and although it did not have air conditioning there was a fan. It is on the edge of the city centre - about ten or 12 minutes I reckon to the Markt although a little longer for me as I use a stick. But it was perfectly walkable. Were I younger I would have rented a bike as everyone seems to ride bikes. The breakfast was good although as I was there for five nights it would have been nice if they varied the salami. I liked that boiled eggs were provided on demand.

Mosquitoes - It never crossed my mind that there would be mosquitoes but with canals I should have known. They do provide something at the desk I found - do read the very good guest guide which I didn't do. I found a chemist easily on my way to the Markt. I didn't like the weather which the hotel has nothing to do with but it was hideously hot for two of the days and the Friday and Saturday in particular the town was heaving with people and it is worth noting that Monday is often the closing day for restaurants. The other thing is that the railway station is a long way from town - too far to walk so taxi it.

The location of the hotel is excellent I can tell you. It is between very quiet and historical streets... You can take the train directly from Brussels Airport to Brugge and a number 2 bus from train station to the Hotel. Regarding the room we chose a 12sqm room which is a little bit small but we are also small people so didn't face a problem regarding comfort... Breakfast was so tasty.

Just the bathroom is very small; you can't even wash your face or brush your teeth in the sink due to its size but again it was not a must for us.

We had a quadruple room for a family of four, and it was definitely big enough for us to stay there comfortably. Some reviews say the rooms are small but we had a large enough space for us as a family and were happy with the room size. It was warm, clean and comfortable with helpful, pleasant staff. We were able to check in early and that made a big difference to us, and was a great start for our trip to Bruges. Also, all areas of the hotel were clean and we'll-maintained, not just our room.

The most satisfying was the view of the city, because our room was on the top floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very quiet, very close to the canal and it's only 10 min walk from all main tourist destinations in the hart of the city.

We were staying only one night, so it didn't affect us much. But the squeaky bathroom door could be disturbing (especially at night). Also, there's no soundproof, so you can easily hear everything from the corridor.

My family travelled as a big group (9 people with 12 luggage). We where given our rooms and information. The reception staff were very nice. The bed's were comfortable. The rooms were clean. After the first night when we returned from our walk the rooms had been cleaned and we were given new towels too. We asked for taxi service arrangement with the front desk staff the morning before our departure day. But it seems the taxi service did not schedule it. However that morning we asked for assistance and the staff managed to get us the taxis to arrive in 15 minutes to be on time for our bus. All in all my family was very happy with the hotel and assistance.

Our room's bathroom had a bit of a smell coming from the shower drain. We closed the bathroom door and fortunately the smell wasn't strong so we didn't notice it for the entire stay after that first afternoon. The days we stayed there were kind of hot. The ceiling fans work with and app you have to download. After sincronizing it one of the room's fans didn't work. We realized a floor fan was left in that room for that same reason. So it was fine in the end. The elevator is small and can only have 3 people at a time. Big groups with many bags will have to manage that. We didn't mind much

It's a great little hotel with a traditional Flemish facade , a nice atmosphere and modern facilities. It's about 10 minutes walk from the heart of Bruges, in a quiet neighbourhood. It was warm and cosy and also provided a great breakfast, included. Excellent value for money! The hotel also provided extensive information in terms of restaurants and tourist attractions.

I liked everything about it . it would have been nice to be a bit closer to the Market area but the streets are picturesque and well worth the walk.
