The hotel is very stylish and full of history. You may even feel yourself in a museum. Not to mention perfect location and nice views from the windows. The staff is very friendly and attentive and helpful. The room is quite modest yet there is practically everything one needs for a quiet stay. The rules in the hotel are fair and clear. The facility is very clean, they make cleaning every day. I liked the breakfast and especially the breakfast room. There is a supermarket nearby, very helpful. Can't thank the hosts enough for my perfect stay and dipping into the history. I felt like I visited a family or relatives, very cozy and more than satisfied. Great place!

I lived on the very top, and the staircase requires some effort to climb up. The mattress seemed to me a bit too hard, but it's just I'm used to a softer one.

I was alone in a 3 Bed Room, considering that, the price was still okay for Bruegge and the short termed booking. Very friendly host at the reception, who gave me a map and marked important points and streets for me. Nicely located, near the centrum, everything can be reached pretty fast by foot. TV in room.

I was alone in a three Person room, otherwise it can get a bit crowded, since the room is not very big. For me the towels smelled a bit, but it's maybe a personal thing. There was no washing gel in the shower spender, really no big deal, but it should always be checked. A small fridge would be great, also because it can get warm in the room.

The breakfast offered delightful quality, and if I may make a personal suggestion, indulge in the omelette with ham and cheese—it's simply incredible! Situated in a spectacular location, the hotel is a mere 10-minute stroll from Bruge's city center. The neighborhood exudes tranquility, offering a relaxing ambiance, and the charming church facing the hotel is an absolute must-visit. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat. Moreover, the staff exhibited magnificence in their service. Their warmth and hospitality were truly commendable, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. I'm thrilled to have chosen this hotel and would gladly return for another stay if I find myself back in Bruges in the future.

On occasion, the warmth of the shower water was not consistent, leaning towards tepid rather than comfortably warm. This minor inconsistency was the only aspect that I can say I didn't fully appreciate during my stay.

A wonderfully friendly, family-run, comfortable hotel only 10 mins walk from the central market square in Bruges. A great selection for breakfast including a hot choice and UK teabags! Secure parking is available at a reasonable cost, only very slight downside is no lift - but several flights of stairs certainly keeps you fit! The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We visited in December and the dining room Christmas decorations must be seen to be believed, amazing - but if you like minimalist decoration in the public areas, this is not the place for you - however the bedrooms are plainly decorated, clean and very comfortable.

Lots of stairs - but they kept us fit!

The hotel was in a quiet residential area that represented what you would expect from a historic city like Bruges. We were able to walk to the centre of the city within 5 minutes. We were welcomed by Katie our host who was wonderful throughout. she provided us with a history of the house/hotel and its decoration. it providing a history of her family and the city. She provided us with a city map and advice on walks, restaurants, places of interest with some added local knowledge that we had not found in our pre travel reading. Our room was a "Duplex" at the rear of the hotel that was wonderfully clean and perfect for us as a family, providing everything we needed for our relatively short time there. Breakfast was a buffet style with Katie also offering us freshly cooked omelettes if we wished. We arrived early on the first day and whilst too early to check in we were allowed to leave our bags allowing us to find our bearings without having to carry our cases round with us. Katie also allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel on the day of departure and arranged for our taxi back to the station later that day. Overall a lovely hotel and stay, capped off by a wonderful hostess. Thank you so much.

Nothing really

This hotel has so much character with unique decorations that make you feel like you are staying in someone's home. If you don't mind stairs, the view from the room on the top floor is great. You can see all across Bruges. The staff are exceptional and very knowledgeable. The breakfast is a good value with a great selection of cheese. And great bread!

No elevator. Fine as long as you're fit! Tip to get here: don't take the No. 1 bus. It won't get you all the way. Be sure to take the No. 2 bus.

Very close to the city center, very nice, cozy, clean room. I liked the fact that the heathers were working as it was getting cold and rainy outside during the nights. The neighbourhood is very quiet, and pretty safe as well. The bed is very spacious, the pillows were comfy, so I had a very nice sleep. 100% would stay there again.

The receptionist was never present at the check-in desk. I had looked for her without success and waited for at least ten minutes until she showed up for me to do the check out. She was on the phone the whole time, only hung up to tell me to pay the tourist tax.

such a lovely stay!! would 100% recommend if you’re coming to bruges! my sister & i stayed here just for two nights (wish we stayed for longer) and it was such a pleasant experience! the rooms are very modern and clean, the location is just about 12 a 12 minute walk from the centre, and the staff was helpful as well, the lady at the reception even spoke german. + the view from our window was beautiful too!

the staircase is extremely steep (which is quite typical to belgium so you can’t really blame the hotel for it), so its quite the struggle to carry up your luggage. Our key-card didn’t work the first night so we had to call the emergency number (generally the reception was quite empty at all times) and wait about 40 minutes for a staff member to solve it, but he was really kind and did it in a few minutes, so no hard feelings!

A wonderful, welcoming and convenient hotel. Rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean and close to central Bruges - an easy 10 minute walk to everything. At Christmas the hotel, especially the dining room is decorated spectacularly - if you don’t like lots and lots of decorations everywhere, don’t go there - but for everyone else, it is absolutely beautiful. The lady who owns and runs the hotel was extremely friendly and very helpful.

There is no lift, but it is an old building, so to be expected.

The room and matress were very clean, and had a nice view of the church on the other side of the street. The windows were doubled, one old & pretty stained glass window and another sound proof window. It was a very calm area away from the busy center. The bathroom (room n°3 on the first floor) had a bath so it was pleasant. Overall I felt very comfortable there!

When I first came in there was a weird odor in the room but it went away when I let the windows open for the whole day. I could hear some noises from the rooms upstairs and in the corridor but that was ok.
