Excellent place to stay if you are needing to catch trains/Eurostar. Exiting station by track 22 you cross the road, turn left and walk 1 minute and you are there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but ok for overnight. Lots of pillows supplied on the bed - heaven! We were able to store our luggage while exploring the city. Need coins for the lockers. As we arrived late we didn't want to go out - had a drink and pizza ordered from the bar at the hotel - can recommend . And was not expensive.

The location was very convenient, the bed large and comfortable, the room well appointed and clean and the staff friendly.

The tea! Please provide more black tea for English tourists! The location seemed rather unsafe for a lone traveller - this is hardly the fault of the hotel, of course! and to be expected of a place near the station, as in many big cities. But there were groups of youths handing round outside and I was woken up regularly during the night by shouts and screams in the street. The litter in the roads in the morning provided ample evidence. I would like to have gone out after my early evening arrival but felt I could not risk it.

Close to the train station, so brilliant for the Eurostar. I felt safe inside (key card only access to the lift). Also it was really quiet/great sound proofing…. and comfortable! The staff were really welcoming and friendly.

Nothing to do with the property as such but I would only say the area surrounding was a little strange. It was late but we went for a walk/fresh air after travelling. After about five minutes we were warned by a shop keeper that we weren’t really safe…. I guess to be expected so close to a train station but a bit of a shame. However the hotel was absolutely fine, great for what we needed and we are booking to stay again on our next trip.

lovely staff, couldn’t do enough to help, and really comfortable rooms (especially the beds)

the location, it’s really close to the station, which is the reason we chose it, but we were aggressively approached by street population directly outside the hotel. On one night there was a strong smell of cannabis on our floor (floor 1) and it was clear that at least one room close to the stairs had people smoking inside it. hotel couldn’t identify the room, so couldn’t do anything about it, but it made me feel sick and gave me a headache

The room size and configuration was cool, very big room with single bed around the corner from huge main bed, room was quiet from inside hotel - didn’t hear other guests/hotel noises at all, staff were very friendly and helpful, the interior was very fresh and modern and mostly clean, the property felt nice and secure, the luggage lockers downstairs was very convenient with a great price/good value, very secure and convenient; location to train station was easy/convenient.

The beds are not very comfortable, the single bed bedding was slightly dirty (specks of soil? in various places) but didn’t realise until middle of the night; area by Station is not very nice and it was very very noisy throughout the night; also, the room was too warm, couldn’t cool it down with fan/AC unit.

Hotel was good value for money, and is literally opposite the main railway station, so a very convenient location. There is a room to leave luggage before and after check-in/out, which is really handy. Breakfast was excellent although possibly slightly expensive (16 euros per person) if you didn't have a huge appetite! The rooms were large and comfortable and the staff were very helpful.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which we missed. The dinner menu was very limited - essentially bar snacks, pizza etc - when we were expecting a restaurant. We ended up buying food from a local supermarket for dinner. The area around the station is not brilliant, so although there were some local restaurants, we didn't feel particularly comfortable going into them with children. (there is a lot of regeneration going on locally, so I think in the coming months it will be much nicer)

This property is directly opposite Brussels Midi train station and less than a five minute walk from the time we got off the train until we were in the hotel lobby. Arriving shortly after 9:30 am, we did not expect to have a room much before 3 pm but to our utter surprise, there was a room ready for us on arrival. The staff were extremely helpful in giving us instructions on how to access local transport to the location of several of Brussel's Christmas Markets. Having an early morning departure to catch our train to the airport, the staff on duty kindly made us a great cup of coffee to get us on our way. Thanks to the staff who made our one night stay in Brussels so wonderful.

The fact we were not able to spend more time in Brussels was about the only thing we didn't like but this is in no way a reflection on the hotel or the staff.

The location is fantastic. It's right next to the large southern train and metro station. So it's easy to catch any major train very quickly. The metro actually has an entrance right next to the main entrance to the hotel so you don't even have to cross the road. It also has a quality bar with some very nice selections of Belgian beer at fair prices.

The aircon was the biggest let down. Yes it worked, but I'm not sure it had been cleaned in a long time. I started coughing a lot just after I turned it on. Then I was fine when I turned it off. One bad thing about the location is it is not the best neighborhood, so if you are easily scared by people standing around then maybe find another place. I found it to be absolutely safe, but I'm also confident and didn't go out alone at night.

The location is super convenient as it is a few (only 5-6) mins walk from the train station (Brussels Midi) which we mainly used trains to travel everyday around the country. The room is comfy and meet expected standard. Great water pressure. No problem with cold/warm water. Room cleaned everyday.

The neighbourhood of the hotel and train station could not be considered very nice as (just like other main train stations) there are so many types of people, homeless, etc in and around the station. Howver, we were not disturbed by them but it's good to always watch out. No fridge in the room but not a big deal.

Very close proximity to Brussels-Midi. General comfort. Decent room size. Good value. Friendly staff.

No kettle in any room! We arrived after an early start in London and a hot beverage was really needed, so the single kettle in the bar for all customers was very disappointing - Why? What does the hotel gain from this? Other people have remarked about a few dodgy looking guys loitering around the entrance. This is correct and is slightly off-putting but for the benefit of other customers, the dodgy guys, generally Congolese, aren't actually intimidating at all and we did not feel like we could be robbed. They just seem to be unemployed people with nothing better to do.
