Perfect location for all transport. We arrived by eurostar and were in the hotel within 10 minutes which was ideal as it was raining. Check in was very efficient and no waiting about, we arrived at 8.30pm. We were on the 8th floor room 808, and fortunately there is a lift. The room was small but ideal for my wife and myself as we are not big people. There is a keypad on the room door which was simple to use and ideal as there were no keys to worry about. The whole hotel and room were very clean and the room was cleaned every day. Staff were all very helpful and polite especially the guy on reception whose name I didn't get unfortunately but was absolutely on form for any information. There is free tea and coffee downstairs 24hrs, also its only a 20 minute walk into the city centre. To get to charleroi airport we used Flibco bus service which is at the railway station directly across the road and was a perfect service, 19euros per person which was the cheapest way to get directly to the airport. Would definitley recommend and stay here again.
The window side of the bed is very tight, the bathroom is small and for some reason there is part of the shower door missing. This is a rough looking area but we never felt threatened or needed to avoid anyone and always felt safe walking about.

We did not purchase breakfast. We did have an excellent breakfast at the hotel next door. The location was chosen because it is perfect for Brussels-Midi, literally right across the street. We came in from Paris and we left for Amsterdam from that station. We had to walk a mile to the closest Hop-on Hop-off bus stop, and we had to walk a little over a mile to the Grand Place and all the eateries we wanted to visit along the way. The walk to either is not bad. The atmosphere and environment in the hotel is very nice. We would easily stay here again
Bedding was nice, but the mattress had the slope to it a double bed often has which causes one to roll.

- The staff were amazing. All of them were very friendly, open, helpful, and spoke very good English. Reception is available 24h. - Water and coffee machines are available for free next to the reception. - Breakfast is good enough and maybe a bit extended (knowing the Belgian standards), including vegan cheese. - The room was clean and tidy, spacious enough. - There are no keys only code-lock. For me it's a plus, because you don't need to worry about cards or keys. I would consider this chain for future trips.
- No cosmetic kits in the room (tooth brush, tooth paste etc), and the towels were still a bit smelly with vinegar. - The pillow is hard for me.

Friendly staff and a hotel with good cleanliness, in addition to being an example of sustainability. I strong recommend to "help the planet" idea to reward the clients not asking for cleaning and educating people to save waterCongratulations. I loved the self-service drink machine too.
The bathroom door was always opening and getting in the way. The room is not big—it’s okay for one person, but the small space becomes inconvenient with a problematic door. Also, the hair dryer didn’t work well. I always bring my own, so I recommend you do the same if you stay there

Very close to the Gare du Midi. Extremely clean. Room small, but perfect for our needs, and with a comfortable bed. Our 5th floor room was right over a very busy road, but the very effective double glazing meant we heard nothing of the traffic overnight. The staff were very friendly and polite and a pleasure to deal with. I discovered on the train shortly after leaving Brussels that I had left an electrical plug in a wall socket in the room. I emailed the hotel, and they immediately replied saying that they had found the plug and would keep it for me to collect on my return journey through Brussels. I really appreciated this! Good coffee in the lobby is freely available, and you can take it up to your room. Altogether a very pleasant stay, and a very convenient location if you're travelling by train.

The staff were really helpful and the hotel was clean and had everything I needed, including even pastries you could help yourself to one day near the drinks. My room was quiet with a good vantage point of the local area. Everything was clean and the maps in reception were useful too. The Gare du Midi train station was about 1 minute walk away.
The area around the hotel wasn’t the best in that there are some homeless people and particularly around the train station is smells a lot of urine. I didn’t feel threatened or unsafe walking around during the day on my own, although I would have avoided doing so at night. It also takes about 20 minutes to walk to the grand place from here (although you could get the metro from the station) through not the most scenic area, although again I never felt unsafe walking around in the day time.

It was right next to the midi station so it was fine for that reason. Otherwise we would have gone for a hotel closer to the center. There was free water and coffee which was a bonus. The staff were amazing! The room was nice and the shower was great. We were on the -1 floor so you could hear every flushing and showering from other rooms. Other than that the room was quiet with a beautiful big window to open. The bed was comfy. Too pricy for a basic room and that location. We also skipped breakfast.
Pricy. Location.

The accessibility to the railway station was the main reason we chose this hotel and it was perfect for that as we arrived on the Eurostar and left on the Eurostar. The staff were great and really helpful. The room had everything we needed, nothing fancy but clean. The eco credentials of the hotel were impressive. A 5 Euro voucher was provided if there was no housekeeping required. This is a great initiative that other hotels could look at rather than using the environment as a reason not to provide that service. We weren't in a position to use the 5 Euro, so we didn't gain anything from it. But kudos to the property.
The area around the hotel wasn't great, not a lot of food options for eating out that we could find. The breakfast we had at the hotel was terrible.

Clean room, nice picture on the wall, close to the train station. I made a mistake in the date when making the reservation and inquired about changing the date to a week later. The hotel quickly responded and changed the date without increasing the price, even though other hotels nearby where I compared prices were more expensive for the later date.
Room was quite small, though I knew this when I booked the room. The air conditioning didn't get the room very cool, though that is sort of typical in many European countries where I've traveled. You can't expect the deep freeze kind of air conditioning that you find in the United States.

The room was clean. The cleaning staff are Eastern European but very friendly and respectful. Walking distance to Brussels midi/Zuid station known as Zuid midi station. Restaurants and supermarket round the corner at hotel. Day travel pass is about €8 valid or 24 hours and easy excess to metro. Make sure you try Brussels authenthic chocolate, waffles and hot chocolate. And famous Brussels Frites (Fries). Key spots: Mannekin pis statue, Brussels Grand palace, Jacquemark Clock, Automium, Triumphac arch, Royal Museum just next to Triunphac arch.
The station is big and complex. If you exit wrong side of station smells of piss and alot of beggers. Smells of piss because I assume toilets are not free and have to pay €1 to use it. Be carfeul of pick pocketers, I was approached by two unknown men speaking in French. It is safe, just be alert. Staff at reception was not welcoming, somehow very rude. Perhaps he had a bad day.
