The Novotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk away from the Grand Place and the rest of the centre of Brussels. It is close to metro stations and a short taxi ride from the Brussels Midi station. The room was a good size with plenty of wardrobe space and very clean with generally good facilities. The Gluwine provided in reception on a couple of days was welcome as was the free bottle of water provided in the bedroom every day.

Quite a bit of noise from the street at night. It seemed as though the windows didn't seal well, so sound leaked in.

Great location Restaurant on site Small swimming pool but perfect for kids We had a family room, and it was very spacious The staff was very friendly and welcoming and gave my daughter some welcome toys/coloring set which she loved

The cot in the room was provided upon request but was a weird one - the height couldn't be adjusted nor a side could slide down to easily pick the baby up. The room was for three people but only two chairs were provided in the room. The restaurant had good food, but the choices were quite limited.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for five days and enjoyed its excellent location, being very close to the center of Brussels. The pool was a fantastic addition to our stay, with a heated pool and a steam room.

There were a couple of downsides to our experience. Firstly, the soundproofing in the rooms was poor. We could easily hear conversations from the neighboring room, and other noises carried throughout the night. Secondly, the cleanliness of the room was below par. Upon arrival, we found a significant amount of long hair on the bathroom floor. While the location and pool facilities were great, these issues impacted our overall stay

We liked the size of the room and that consumables were replaced on a daily basis. Location suited us, and even being on a major road and local eateries, it was noiseless. The housekeeping in our room was outstanding, and nothing was too much trouble.

The front of the house staff were not friendly. In fact, they came across as if we were an inconvenience. Little guidances about what was going on nearby. Luckily, I'm a regular to Brussels, so I had an advantage. There are so many things around the hotel going on, but no information given, not even a noticeboard offering information. Real lack of marketing the benefits of staying with the hotel. Some of the bar staff would rather chat with each other than server customers. Also initially overcharged us for our stay until raised. Unfortunately, one of us became poorly and needed medical assistance. We asked the hotel to organise a taxi to take us to the hospital but the one that they organised to go to was closed at weekends. Once we realised this, we made our own way to A&E.

If you want to indulge yourself, you should definitely choose Novotel. The room size, the comfort of the bed, the hotel’s location, and the friendly attitude of the staff were all absolutely perfect. They also offered early check-in with the All membership, so we didn’t have to wait until 3 p.m. Although we only stayed one night, it was a truly delightful experience. From the fresh scent that greets you from the hotel entrance to your room, to the clean and airy rooms with large windows, everything was fantastic. I can still recall the pleasant fragrance of the shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom!

The shower in the bathroom didn’t have a door, which can sometimes cause water to spill outside, but it wasn’t an issue for us. I just wanted to mention it in case it might be a consideration for you.

There was a pleasent smell that greets you when hou walk in the door. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and looked to resolve issues immediately. The location was perfect. There was no need for any bus, car, taxi, uber, etc. Everything was within walking distance. I like that they had umbrellas you could rent for 48 hours. That's new to me, and even though we didn't notice it until after we already got soaked, it was pleasant to see that it was even considered. I can see how the parking could get expensive, but I do like that the hotel offers means for a discount. I will say, the parking garage is definitely nice and its one of the most convenient parking garages I've been to. The security of it was impressive as well. For the hotel, the place was clean, and definitely more spacious than most hotels. Lastly, I was actually impressed with the price. Being from the US, hotels in locations that covenient are usually pretty unaffordable. It was refreshing to experience that level of convenience for a reasonable price. I will absolutely be returning here again our next trip to Brussels.

A lovely modern hotel in central Brussels, with easy access to metro and central Railway station. Room was spacious and very comfortable with a large spacious shower en-suite. Staff at front desk were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts were a buffet with a good selection for all tastes.

We ate dinner at the restaurant on only one occasion. Unfortunately neither of our meals were very appetizing. My wife’s fish looked like it was from a packet of cheap frozen fish fillets one buys at the supermarket and my traditional beef stew had a number of fatty pieces of beef.

The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfy. The room had good curtains to completely block the light and the wifi was great. My sister and I really appreciated the young man at the desk arranging a driver to take us to the airport which was actually in another city… The driver was Hassan; his car was nice and he drove very well.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was so unappetising that I left nearly all of mine on my plate and my sister only ate a small about. Although the waiter (who was very nice) asked if it was hot enough, when my sister said it was hot enough but we just didn’t like it, there were no other questions or offers to change the meal. It was truly awful… like a vol au vent but the pastry was all soggy and the filling tasted like it came from a tin… ewww

Great location, hotel was very clean. Staff at reception were very helpful and friendly especially Monica . Breakfast was fine, most of the staff were really nice. Myself and son had food in the Bar/Restaurant Saturday and Sunday evening, Jon served us both evenings and was exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful. The second evening the other staff member took my order but got it wrong but Jon was quick to resolve it in a professional manner, he is an asset to the hotel. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

The hotel location is excellent, a short walk from Grand Place and 100m from St. Catherine’s Metro station. Our room was large with a nice view of Black Tower and St Catherine’s church. It was an easy walk to Central Station (probably 0.8km) which we used to visit Brugge. The room had a small refrigerator and safe. The bathroom was small and dark.

We tried the restaurant one evening when it was pouring with rain and it was very ordinary. There was construction work going on all around the hotel which made access difficult and it was noisy at times. You can’t blame the hotel for that though. The staff on reception spoke English very poorly which surprised me, given Brussels is such a cosmopolitan city. Btw, I’m from Australia, not HongKong as reported by Booking.com. Those turkeys appear incapable of correcting their error. 😁
