A friendly welcoming host who offered a different cooked breakfast option each day all of which were healthy and nutritious. We had access to a shared kitchen with tea and coffee provided and a relaxed seating area and garden. Within easy walking distance to Pacific Spirit Park and lots of information provided about local attractions and transport links. The quiet hours suited us.

I appreciated that our host was accommodating for an early arrival to drop off our luggage. Delicious breakfasts. The 9:00 breakfast time worked well for me on 2 mornings. I flew out early on my last morning, so she left me a fruit salad and bagel to help myself to. I enjoyed visiting with other guests in the evening or over breakfast.

Though we had a private bathroom, an EnSite would have been nicer. Our bathroom was very clean and well appointed, so it worked better than I thought. The mattress was a bit older and was comfortable for one, but not as good for 2 of us. Again everything was clean and that means a lot.

Joanne was amazing as a host and very communicative. The selfmade breakfast each morning was so delicious! My room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. I really felt at home. Talking to the other guests was awesome and it gave the whole stay a very personal touch. Would definitely recommend staying at Joanne's.

Once we had found our bearings and discovered the transport system, bus, sky train and boats, the location was very good. Each day a cooked or continental breakfast was provided which was throughly enjoyed. Our hostess, Joanna, was a delight and helped us in many ways.

Very tasty breakfasts, good variety for main course. Easy informal and secure access. Very congenial host.

No variety for the early continental breakfast. No additional helpings for the hot breakfast. One bathroom lock does not work well.

It was very clean, and the host was very sweet Everything was comfortable. The only thing that I had a problem with was the late check-in time. Although she did let us check in at 3:00 instead of 5:00 but we really didn't have access to the room until 5:00.

Top floor room was lovely with private bathroom. There is also a separate shared lounge area downstairs with tv and kitchenette where you can meet the other guests if you choose. Host Joanne was kind and respectful of personal space. The house is beautiful in a very safe area for walking and enjoying Vancouver’s amazing gardens and heritage homes. Free street parking out front of the house. Would definitely return- felt like a home away from home.

Great stay Joanne was accommodating at such short notice . Would definitely stay again !!

Operator Joanne was a lovely hostess.with helpful hints and stories to share. Facilities were everything needed for a five-day stay. Beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. Easy walk to bus stop. Relaxing atmosphere.

Location was a distance from things in Vancouver (i.e., bus required for any trip). lol jam for breakfastl
