I had a lovely stay at the hotel, the view from the top floor was superb, the staff was very kind and helpfull. The free parking space was very important for me since I was with a car. The location of the hotel is excellent - close to everythig in the spa zone yet on a quiet street. The brekfast was tasty and was served in the small and cosy breakfast room. Would recommend this hotel since the value for your money is great!

If I remember correctly there was no one at the reception after 18:00 and I arrived at around 19:00. That's the only thing that I could think of that might be improved - if there could be someone at the reception at least until 20:00. Other than that everything was great and the communication with the staff went well even though there was no one at the reception.

Location! Great being right next to the main pedestrian street of Carlsbad. Room was spacious, with nice view over the roof tops. Breakfast was fine, but not so very wide variety of foods. Hotel's own parking is just a couple of cars, so if you don't book in advance you don't get any space, but in this case they can offer to park the car on the nearly parking (for a fee), just 100-150m away so worked out fine.

The exact room we had (for 4 persons) is not very well suited for disabled persons. I had a sprained ankle and had to use the crutches, and although there's an elevator, we figured that the room we booked was not accessible by lift (after coming to the top with elevator, you have 2 more staircases to climb on feet).

The Hotel Boston is a lovely little budget hotel tucked right behind the main street (and river) in Karlovy Vary. Was a little tricky to find using GPS but we made it and the staff were very kind. Our room was clean and stayed pretty cool with the windows open. It was also relatively quiet, being off the main drag. There is a walkway between the hotel and the hot springs / collonade (for drinking not soaking keep in mind). Our room did not come with breakfast included but we were able to pay a little extra (6 euros for adults 4 euros for kids) and enjoyed a lovely buffet style breakfast.

The hotel has an elevator but it stops between floors, so stairs are unavoidable (not an issue for us so much but I imagine this would be problematic for certain guests). Also, the parking area was an additional $12 euros each night and a VERY tight fit to get to.

It is located in the old town centre and most attractions can be reached within walking distance. Also, it can be readily reached by bus from the main railway station. Even though I arrived after its reception opening hours, when I rang the door bell, the host gave me instructions to get the room key somehow remotely, and the overall check-in was straightforward. The room I booked (single room) was very spacious. Foe dome cheap hotels rooms with that size would be place a double bed. Because the hotel is not located in front of the river promenade of the old town, it was quiet at night. Although breakfast offered is never sumptuous; considering its room rate, it was well worth the price; and I really enjoyed the breakfast time there. If I visited Karlovy Vary some day, I would definitely choose this hotel.

The common lobby area is practically absent; but considering this is only a small hotel and I generally would not stay in a hotel all day Kong, this is not an issue for me.

Communication pre arrival was excellent. On the second day of our 8 night stay we received an upgrade to a bigger room. Great location in the middle of the main toursit area. The price is good value in what is an expensive city. Breakfasts were adequate with a reasonable selection of food and drinks to choose from. The kitchen staff were great and quickly replenished items that had been depleted. This hotel has an absolute star in their receptionist Petra, who is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, speaks fluent English and is an all round beautiful person.

Difficult to find. If you arrive via the main promenade there is a small walkway on the left of Goethe's Beer House. Walk up 30 steps and you will see the Boston. View from our room was uninspiring looking out over a carpark and the back of the building in front. The breakfast eating area is very compact, as is the serving area. Bathroom and shower are small. Sometimes during peak periods (early morning), the hot water in the shower was only luke warm. No tea/coffee making facilities. If you want a hot drink you have to get a thermos of hot water from reception, but reception is only open from 8.00am-6.00pm.

Very helpful staff, they answered immediately our questions posed by mail on our way to get there. Everything was well organized. We arrived late but they arranged everything, also the parking, and informed us how to get in. It is a familiar hotel, everything works well. The location is perfect, just going down the stairs in 2 min you are in the city center. It is a silend, friendly, small hotel, perfectly swits the charming character of this wonderful city.

We received too many mails in the 2-week-period until our arrival. 1-2 would have been enough.

Wonderful location, just in the heart of the city, just take the steps that start in front of the reception door and in 2 minutes you'll appear in the most beautiful walking area near the river. Breakfast was also very good. Thanks!

While booking I chose a hotel with parking place and I thought it would be included in the price, but eventually we paid additional 300 CZK for a day of parking our car in front of the hotel.

Very good breakfast. Family atmosphere. The location was excellent. Right in the middle of the tourist area and only a 40 minute walk from the railway station. Didn't have a problem to find the place like some others wrote. Wlan was very good. Excellent price for the room!

Better information before arrival of the registration process after hours. This was a bit some sort of a pain, but for next time one knows how the correct procedure will be.

Great location, very quick walk to the main 'tourist' centre of town. Reception staff very friendly, spoke English and gave lots of tips and recommendations on restaurants and attractions. Room was clean and comfortable with space to store bags.

Parking was slightly confusing to find, have to drive down narrow streets. Room needed darker curtains to block out the light. Room didn't really have hot water in the evening or in the morning, only luke warm. We showered at the thermal pools facility though so this wasn't a big deal.

Staff were amazing and helpful. Parking was reserved and breakfast was nice and fresh although no much choice, but what do you want for the money! I really liked my stay and what really stands out was the staff and how easy and approachable they were.

The only thing that I did not like was the spa tax. it was 12 euros. That has really nothing to do with the hotel but that goes to the city I was told,
