Ordered room service didnt turn up for over an hour as ran out of order but didnt tell me, BUT when i inquired hotel supplied food and drink free. Gutters blocked causing rain to hit window cill making loud noise, i put towel on cill to dampen noise lol. Please clean top of vending machine on 1st floor next to lift, its minging.

The room was basic, but served us well. Very good bathroom. The male staff member in the reception area who checked us in was very friendly and very helpful - a credit to Village Hotels. For us, customer service is very important. Parking was very easy and free - this was a Saturday afternoon.

Not keen on the faceless auto-check-in facility. A lot of guests standing around with luggage and unsure what was happening, but thankfully a male staff member turned up and ensured a smooth and friendly check-in experience. Likewise, when we checked out, unmanned reception area, but thankfully, a very friendly staff member arrived to help us with this process.

Room was great and clean, bathroom was nice and cleen and shower worked with good water pressure. Staff at reception was very nice and kind and helpful. We watched the Euro24 final at the bar and there were a lot of external guest but all was very well managed. Our food arrived in time and all as expected. Breakfast was good and plenty and staff was very kind! GYM + SPA was great well I didn't use the GYM so don't take my word for it but it did look nice. I used the pool and spa and was impressed with the facilties! sauna was spacious, hot(95C) and dry and the jacuzzi (x3) was nice too. Wi-Fi was avaiable everywhere and there was enough bandwith for all so when all guests were using it - it still worked absolutely fine and fast.

only thing was it was very hot and we couldn't cool it down even with the 2 fans provided. It did cool down a bit later at night so we did get enough sleep. There should be an option to fully open the windows.

There was a variety of good fitness facilities and quality dinners. Staff were polite and seemed willing to help although they seemed very busy at times. The gym and other exercise facilities were well equipped. Pool temperature and changing facilities were excellent. Modern room setup with great shower in room.

The breakfast was very basic and could use more variety of hot food choices. Also had to wait a good while for requested food that was not on display at breakfast which meant that the requested food came after you already finished your plate. The room was very warm, and although a fan was provided, the room did not have air conditioning, and it was a struggle to keep cool with the sun shining on the window wall. Lacked air conditioning. Steam room and sauna was well crowded at the end of the day closer towards closing times. Room had no bath but maybe it was the room however it was a double room.

The food was lovely and the bed was was very comfy slept well and the shower was lovely, hot and powerful The pool was lovely and peaceful even with the kids and floats there ut wasn't loud only thing would be take a padlock as they charge for them to be able to use the lockers we had to take our clothes to the pool side which many others did too

The room could of been a bit bigger but for the value was ok the window didn't really close properly so had a draft but heater was below window so wasn't to much of a chill in the room

Confusing layout with floors and my room was far away. Restaurant staff behind the bar weren't overly friendly or helpful, although the people serving the food were great. Receptionist on departure was slightly curt. But main issue was a very disappointing breakfast. No substitution for veggies like sausages, mushrooms had run out, potatoes were damp, they'd obviously been sitting there a while getting condensation on. Beans were congealed. So my hot breakfast was a spoon of beans, 2 tomatoes and soggy potatoes. It was otherwise a good stay and I'd stay again, so it was a shame.

We attended the lGEM Charity Ball December 2024 and booked in for the night. Stunning Christmas theme going on. Lift and rooms easy to find. Easy to book online, easy to find the location. Staff were lovely excellent amenities. Nice to have Starbucks cafe and grill restaurant, delicious breakfast. Room was spacious, loved the Dyson fan, beautiful sprung bed, delightful washroom. Food was outstanding at the ball. Lovely friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.

Starbucks in the hotel, it was close to where we needed to go. The beds was very comfortable and the swimming pool was amazing.

I asked to change the dates for personal reasons and they was very unhelpful. I told them I was going to check in late and again they declined it. But had no choice I still checked in later when I turned up. The food in the bar and grill wasn't great. They didn't have what I wanted on the menu considering it was only early evening. And then one of the things we got was wrong.

Bed was very comfortable and shower was amazing. Room was very clean and breakfast was lovely. Overall good stay. Very happy with our room.

Staff made you feel like it was irritating to ask any questions or ask for help. Lady on reception was not friendly at all and whilst checking in and out, she was in a terrible mood and verging on rude. Our friends were also staying at the hotel and commented about how moody the reception staff were. Great hotel but shame about unfriendly/ rude reception staff.

The room was huge and clean. The air ventilation was adequate, and there were enough stuff to use, such as tea, and the utensils were quite clean. There were adequate towels for bathing as well. However, I couldn't use the TV because I couldn't find the handbook to browse for stations, but overall the room was ideal.

Provide with TV manuals on how to look for favourite channels from the Television. Can also give discounts for meals such as breakfast so that the guests can afford to have a bed and breakfast combo.
