In every hotel, there is a special person at the front that represents the personality, quality and brand of the hotel. For me, that person is Sherley. She was attentive, responsive and informative. But beyond those professional traits, she carried about her a positivity and brightness, even when dealing with "grumpy" customers (yes, I witnessed it). Additionally, her intuition to clue into someone's needs, and offer help or initiate a proactive step, often before they ask, is simply remarkable. I am grateful she was working there during Christmas time! :)

The rooms were too hot some nights, and though the windows can be opened, they often get blown wide by the wind. Is there any way to affix a mechanism that can hold the windows at a particular gap when ajar?

The hotel is very nicely designed and housed in an old building. We only stayed one night and didn't use the restaurant, however they have a rather lovely Wine Hour around 5pm, for residents where you can come for a free drink before going out. There is also a free nightcap at the end of the evening. This was a lovely touch. Our room was compact, but the bathroom was very nice.

The room was really very small with only room for two single beds and nothing else. There was nowhere to store our cases. As we were only there one night it was fine for us. As the hotel is housed in an old building I suppose some of the room sizes are on the small size.

Although the room we booked was small, the bathroom was quite spacious and bed was super comfy! We loved the complimentary wine hour every night, which is such a great initiative to meet people and use the bar space downstairs. The location is perfect - especially if you’re keen to go to Tivoli Gardens as it’s sooo close. The staff were friendly and we were lucky enough to check in early as well, which was a blessing from our long flights from Aus! Highly recommend staying here.

Probably the breakfast, as it was a very pricey add on for what it was. We paid the same at two other destinations and had a variety of buffet options and omelette stations etc for same price. It’s pretty much all organic which has probably pushed this up.

Location was excellent. We were within walking distance of the City centre, Tivoli Gardens, City Hall, Central railway station and other great locations. Wine hour and bedtime hour were really novel and such a nice gesture. Felt we were getting something back. Also lovely to chat with other guests. All the staff we met over the five days were very friendly, courteous and so helpful and informative. Their english was excellent. Room was cleaned everyday, clean towels etc. Lovely friendly environment in the Hotel. Wide range of age groups, families, couples, single travellers etc. Travelled by train from Central Train Station to Malmo in Sweden for a day trip. Very enjoyable.

Did not like the bars that were around the bed, not sure if it was meant to look like a modern four poster but room too small for them as you also have sink and press in the room as toilet/shower room too small to accommodate the sink. A bit dangerous at night if you have to get up in dark - could bang your head off same (which I did) or stub your toe. As we were gone all day and out for a meal and drinks at night it did'nt impact on us too much. Otherwise the room was fine.

The best things are breakfast, staff, design and the sitting area in front of the hotel. The bed is comfortable. Our room has the street view which is very nice. The windows are big which make the room comfortably bright. The room gets very dark with the blackout curtain.

The area around the hotel is a bit touristy. It can get quite loud at night, even with the windows closed. We did not use much of the facilities such as the roof top and gym. The roof top looks good but we did not find time to enjoy it. The gym is small.

Staff of the bar was really welcoming and nice all the time. The happy hours were really nice and allow you to interact with other guest and visitors. The location of the hotel is just perfect. The quality of the breakfast.

During my stay there were only 2 items that displeased me. One was the fact that the bedroom doors slam heavily so we were constantly being awake by the next door guests . The second thing was the breakfast staff spraying detergent in the tables rather than in a cloth at a distance. I was smelling and tasting the detergent. This happened twice. The last breakfast I noticed that a older lady staffer was doing exactly that, spraying a cloth next to the elevator so it does not disturb the guests. Also, on the second day breakfast we were there at 10h15 and we were alone and there was no refill of the smoothies or juices and the waiters were taking all away and spraying the tables. Not really nice.

Breakfast delicious and a lot of choice. Staff lovely and very helpful. Great views from the roof top bar. Bed comfy. Convenient location for everything. Great thoughtful touches - towels and water ready for use after a run in the morning. Great free wine hour at 5pm!! Firworks at the Tivoli Park on Saturday night until about 11.30pm, felt as though they were a personal display for me!

The twin beds in the room were too close together for my adult son and me so we had to book another room! I had a balcony which was great but it was windy and there was no catch on the balcony door to have it open a small amount and to stop it blowing in the wind. There was a rock concert at the Tivoli Gardens on the Friday night which was very loud, but the double glazing kept most of the noise out.

The Hotel is close to the Main Station directely next to a busy road and opposite Tivoli, about 25 minutes walk to the main sights. The people working there were absolutely friendly. The wine-hour was a nice idea, thatfor crowded 😉

The „Double room“ was extremely small, Not more than a single, one person must climb over the other to get in bed. Only for young people who truly love eachother! It is not a quiet Hotel, due to the Location and the amount of free alcohol… The breakfast is great for vegans! All others will have not a big Choice. The staff was Nice, but only 3 for the whole breakfast-Area (we had only 1 cheese and 1 sort of bread, which was finished after 5 minutes and it took 20 minutes to get new bread) and everything is put in very tiny glasses, so after a while the whole table is crowded by empty glasses and you are still hungry… You pay for the „free wine & Spirit“-thing by a quite high Price for the stay, I would prefer a bit cheaper price and alcohol on extra-cost.

Great little boutique hotel in a super location for those wanting to explore Copenhagen. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable on sites & activities as well as local restaurant recommendations. The rooms are a good size and come with everything you need. There’s a smart rooftop bar offering some wonderful views of the city, and for guests, there is a wine hour as well as a nightcap hour. The hotel only does a continental style buffet breakfast, otherwise no other food is served. The variety of the breakfast spread is wide and varied, with plenty of options from granola, fruit, cheese & ham, to eggs, sausages and pastries. Otherwise I’d recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a simple, clean base with friendly staff very knowledgeable of the city and happy to help out with any bookings or recommendations.

Very small things really. There was no aircon in the room and the rooms on the 6th floor were very warm. There was a fan that helped but didn't solve the problem. The only other comment I’d make is that the doors on the 6th floor slam very loudly and it’s therefore very easy to hear guests coming and going, and the rooftop bar means that occasionally you’ll get some loud guests going back down.

My experience was awesome! After initially putting me in the wrong room, Sonja stepped up (big shout out to her!) and got me well situated! From that moment on the entire staff (Sha, Mie, Zoe, and the rest) treated me so well! Wine hour is awesome and packed with guests! I made friends with people from Spain, Sweden, and the UK! Nightcap hour offers up a fine selection of liquors, etc, many of which are not available in the US. A perfect way to wind down. Breakfast is extraordinary. A feast of organic delights, gluten-free options, it was all there, including many traditional danish foods as well as things like scrambled eggs and sausage. Every kind of bread you can imagine, juices and smoothies.. I could go on, but I think you get the idea. The housekeeping was immaculate. The bed was comfy. I had a ten day stay and I didn't want to leave!

Other than the misstep with putting me in the wrong room, I have nothing negative to say about this hotel or my overall experience.
