Great location right next to Tivoli, a must see in winter. Very good breakfast with a nice view from the 7th floor, a good selection and all inclusive coffee throughout the day. We also liked the room setting with a large bed right next to the window. The smart control of lights, etc. was a nice to have.

It was really cold, we went in December and heating didn’t work well. Something I wouldn’t expect from this kind of a hotel.

Clean hotel with good sized rooms. Loved that you could control everything in the room with an app. Bar open 24/7 which is also a great thing

Not impressed by the bathroom area but that's.mostly the case in hotels. Would have liked a coffee machine on the room as well

Location was excellent. Room was small and compact, very clean, very quiet even though facing the boulevard; could hear quiet hum of the aircon. Shower very good pressure (i was on the 5th floor). Hair dryer in room. Small fridge. Under bed storage for luggage. Very well designed. Appreciated the options of day and night curtains, the latter worked very well. Liked the sustainable approach to housekeeping ie you book a room clean in advance if you need it. Free filtered water in the bar area on 7th floor, as well as choice of beers, juices and snacks to purchase. Reception and check in/out on 7th floor. Hotel 2 mins from Metro. 7/11 store almost next to hotel. Lots of bars nearby, and easy to get to places to eat. Near Tivoli Gardens. NB I stayed by myself, king size bed! It would likely have felt cramped if two in the room. However. This wouldn't stop me staying with my partner; we'd work around it as paying for location and cleanlines.

This is a very small gripe; it would have been nice to have a small kettle in the room. No ironing board; didn't bother me but others may want one.

Room was excellent - very clean and tidy as expected.

A couple of really small things: 1. The metal hinge at the bottom of the shower door was clearly starting to deteriorate as there was a small trickle of black stuff coming from it. This built up a little in the shower over a few days. 2. The fridge had clearly had something spilled in it previously and had been cleaned up - but when I moved the divider there was still some old, dried liquid in there underneath the fridge divider. 3. It would have been brilliant to have had a kettle in the room with the option to make tea/coffee! 😊

Good location, very nice decoration and modern technology in rooms.

I paid breakfast in advance when arrived to the hotel but in the next morning I was told that it is not paid. It was not nice to settle this matter and it ruined my lazy breakfast feeling. When I checked out the receptionist confirmed that the breakfast was prepaid so quite don't understand what was the issue and why they choose to bother client instead of checking their systems more carefully.

I’m a CitizenM aficionado so I’m biased ;) I like the CitizenM philosophy: the “arty-farty”, funky and contemporary approach. Surely it presents a “for the young and global traveler” vibe. The layout of the common areas like canteen / chill out nooks and rooms are colourful and inviting. Get yourself in iPad mode to control the gadgets in your room. Certainly different from the average hotel. I guess it reflects my interest in contemporary art, interior design and architecture. The choice of f&b is good, staff very friendly, young and vibrant.

Signage, the famous CitizenM feature was a bit hard to see.

When I first walked in the room seemed small but it didn't feel that way during my stay. It had plenty of nooks and ledges that gave it more storage space than some rooms double its size. The location is fantastic, just across the street from a metro station and a short walk to the cafes and restaurants of the Latin quarter or the main train station

It's a little strange not to have a light switch for the bathroom. The tablet controls also seemed to affect the main room which might be an issue if you're traveling with a light sleeper

CitizenM is definitely a modern and hip choice for the young & connected individuals. It's offering a very user friendly experience from checking in or ordering drinks/food at the bar, all the way down to controlling everything in the room via a beautifully designed smartphone/tablet app. The hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of Copenhagen with easy access to shopping streets/hubs, Tivoli Gardens, bars & restaurants, as well as the railway station which offers a fast train service (15min) to Copenhagen airport. The rooms feature a modern design and are highly interactive (you can control the air con, TV, shutters/curtains and ambient lighting straight from your smartphone). Another nice touch is that reception let us choose the view that we'd like to have from our window. The staff is stellar - so helpful and accommodating to any requests, all with a smile on their face!

The only thing that lacked a bit was how thorough housekeeping was. First off the hotel only offers housekeeping on certain days and/or only if you request it, which is perfectly fine - but when housekeeping came around they only made the bed and took the bins out, without replacing the liner in the bin or topping up the tissue paper in the living area. Obviously not a dealbreaker but would have been nice to see/have.

Room was bigger than I expected, having stayed in the London Bankside hotel before. Disappointed with the lack of tea & coffee options in the room, so we upgraded to have the inclusive breakfast which while not cheap, did give us hot drinks 24x7. Many hotels in this location, good, quiet restaurants nearby and only a 10 minute walk from the local nightlife and fine dining restaurants.

Breakfast items lacked variety, great of first day, tired by 3rd day. It would have been nice to have the option of a drinks package instead of breakfast and drinks as it reduced our options for breakfast nearby. Likewise an option to pay day by day for breakfast would have been good.

Location was great and convenient. 7 minutes walk from the central station . Lots of shops/ restaurants/ cafe/ metro nearby including a 7/11 that is open 24/7. Liked the technology feature in the room including the control for lights/ blinds. You can access the same features through the hotels app. Bed was comfortable. It would be a little awkward for two people to use the bed as bed is only accessible from one side. Plenty of space for storage and safety deposit box is under the bed. I like reception area. Lots of seating and amazing balcony view from the 7th floor. Cold Still/ sparking water was available from the reception free of charge.

There was no kettle or coffee/tea making facilities available in the room. You have to go up to the reception for a hot drink for which you have to pay around 40 kr . Wish they included at least one free hot drink with the price of the room. There is also no toiletries other than shampoo and hand wash in the room. For shower cap/ lotion/ cotton swab etc you have to go and ask reception. Any sort of housekeeping needs to be prearranged on the iPad provided. Otherwise the trash won’t be taken out or beds won’t be made.
