Beautiful hotel, with a very central location, looking right on the Guggenheim. The staff is super friendly, and the pillows were super nice!

The rooftop bar is very nice, what we found unfortunate is that they don’t serve cocktails upstairs, only in the bar downstairs. The only note is that when you have a room overlooking the reception/courtyard you have to keep your curtains closed otherwise people who are standing in the lift can look into your room.

Breakfast : The view of the museum was absolutely stunning, and the breakfast itself was exceptional. The only downside was that the price felt a bit high, but aside from that, everything was perfect. Above all, the hotel's location right in front of the museum is its biggest advantage. It truly feels like you're staying at the Guggenheim Museum itself. The city center is not far, making it easy to walk, and there are also famous dining areas nearby. The staff were aslo very friendly and always ready to help, and the facilities were excellent.

It’s a bit far to walk to the city center, and public transportation isn’t the most convenient option to be there. We chose to walk, and while it was a bit tiring, we enjoyed the beautiful riverside and exploring the city shops along the way.

We loved our lunch on the ground floor of the hotel on the day we arrived. We had zero expectations but the food and service was all so top notch that we ordered more courses than we expected to. The room facing the museum was everything we’d hoped for, and the location absolutely couldn’t be beat. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly.

The brunch on the rooftop was an enjoyable prelude to our museum visit but they seemed short staffed which I did not expect given the set cost of the meal. Also, unlike most hotels we visited in Spain, there were no GF bakery items available, just fruit, yogurt, meat and cheese. Again, a surprise given the cost of the meal. But the view can’t be beat. We returned to the rooftop for a drink before going out for dinner.

Our stay at this hotel was incredible. We’ve come during the off season so rates were extremely reasonable for what you get. We came in the middle of a long vacation and we’re exhausted. Access to the steam and sauna rooms at all times was very relaxing and made us ready for the rest of our trip. The proximity to the Guggenheim is un paralleled and even though we stayed in an interior room, we were very easily able to experience the grandness of the rooftop for daily breakfast and afternoon cocktails and snacks. Additionally, the location is perfect with great restaurants very near. The staff were very professional, friendly, and attentive. Our room was perfectly clean and seemed very new. The bathrooms were very clean and we loved the dual shower heads, his and her sinks, and the dual bidet and toilet combination. The concierge was extremely helpful, getting us reservations and taxis when we needed.

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property

For travellers keen to visit the Guggenheim Museum, this hotel was perfect as it is situated directly across the road. We loved the roof top bar with its fabulous view of the museum. The breakfast also served from this area was the best we had in our travels throughout Spain and Portugal. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, from the concierge who assisted with our check in, the bar staff and the staff that assisted us to navigate a May Day rally outside the hotel as we were trying to catch a taxi to the airport.

Amazing location which could t be any better if you want to go the Guggenheim. The hotel also had a modern art twist with a distinct theme running through it. The staff were really pleasant and the downstairs + roof top bar were a nice addition.

This is not a 5 star hotel and is not the worth the money especially for the the more premium rooms. Specifically the premium rooms are not that big ( had mid sized suites at other 5 star hotels which are much bigger) and there were annoying points like there being over 10 different light switches in a room ( some for just 1 light). The ambience of the hotel as you arrive is also not 5 star standard and more akin to a 4 star.

Excellent location. The bed was about the best I have ever had. Very quiet rooms. Excellent breakfast offered a wide range of foods catering for all tastes. Terrace bar with sensational views especially around sunset. Valet parking very convenient and timely (worth the money).

The ground level cocktail bar seemed a bit too cloistered and overlooked, hence not as inviting as it might otherwise be. We went elsewhere for our early evening martinis. The information desk was friendly but unable to advise or assist in booking excursions. I could not work out what the desk's function was. Lunch and dining menu a bit limited. The food was good.

I wasn’t particularly thrilled with our stay. We arrived, were greeted with faultless service, and were in our room resting within minutes. A little chaos or a delayed check-in would have added some much-needed excitement. The room was spotless and disturbingly quiet. I prefer a bit of noise - doors slamming, muffled conversations, maybe even the occasional argument next door. It helps me relax. Instead, I was trapped in a bubble of oppressive calm. Breakfast was served with a stunning view of the Guggenheim Museum, which was entirely too distracting. Naturally, this made it impossible to fully focus on the excellent food. The location was also far too convenient, with everything just a short walk away. I usually enjoy the challenge of navigating public transport, but here, even that simple pleasure was denied. And, to make it worse, my wife loved it. Now I have to live up to this standard every time we travel.

The location next to the Guggenheim is unbeatable, and we got good recommendations from the courteous reception team for dining options in the city, within a short walk. The concierge was v helpful with booking taxis, buses etc. Our room was large, spotless and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. The small sauna and steam room were very welcome after a day of sightseeing, and the rooftop bar is also very nice with a fabulous view. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat in the hotel at all.

Breakfast is expensive to add on (it wasn't included in our Booking.com rate) and we opted not to bother as there were lots of good nearby options. The room we had booked was a courtyard view and I hadn't fully appreciated how enclosed it would feel - the window was in a curtained-off corner of the room so it felt like there was no outlook really. With hindsight I wish we had upgraded but we figured we wouldn't be spending much time in the room. We notified the team we were staying for our Silver wedding anniversary and I guess a welcome drink or similar gesture would have been nice.

Perfect location beside the Guggenheim Museum, with an easy and very pleasant stroll into the city. The Hotel is beautifully designed with attractive artworks. Very good pintxos bars nearby, also the Museum of Fine Arts. The staff at the hotel were exemplary, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was very well appointed, the bathroom was large and luxurious. The breakfast was very good, with eggs to order and very attentive service. Olio restaurant was excellent, and the cocktails served in the Bar were wonderful. Altogether a superb stay.

We thought the lighting in the rooftop bar at night should be dimmed to make it more cosy.
