The location is amazing and perfectly situated to walk to museums, parks, cafes, shops, bakeries ... anything you want to see in Bilbao. The room is so cool! It's a contemporary design that is well thought out and gives a guest all the surfaces they need to work, rest, store items, etc. The shower is the best I've had in months of traveling throughout Europe. The honor bar on the main floor is unique. Take what you want - snacks, drinks - and simply write down your name and room number. At check out you get a sum total. What a trusting system that makes a guest feel so good.

Can't think of anything I didn't like. The team went above and beyond anything I've experienced in Europe and took care of every need. What a magical place. Even the water is filtered for guests while saving on plastic.

What hotel has a curling iron in the room? Not that this is the most important detail, but it shows the kind of thinking that has gone into making this property a really wonderful hotel. The design, facilities, comfort and particularly the service is some of the best I have experienced. At check in, the front desk clerk started explaining what to do and see, where the pintxos bars are, the old town, museums... most of the time, front desk people have other things to do. They found me a super hairdresser in no time flat, made restaurant reservations and helped us with whatever else we needed. Breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and professional. Great view from the room onto the Guggenheim. Well designed rooms, make-up mirrors, fresh water everyday and turn-down service. We'll be back in Bilbao shortly and Hotel Miró will be our first choice. Thank you!

The location is nice, the staff is extremely helpful and nice, always there at the reception, ready to help you. The room has lots of details that make you see that someone cared to design the space so it's comfortable to stay at.

The bathroom separated from the room with curtains, the toilet separated from the room with a thin door that doesn't close fully. I mean, if I was staying there on my own, it would have been perfect. When you are staying with someone, even your partner, you need some privacy sometimes. Also, the bed linen - huge blankets without a proper cover (just pieces that are supposed to line up on each other, though this was rather common in all Spanish hotels I stayed at), and if you don't want to share the blanket, you have 2 overly huge blankets.

Every aspect of this hotel is wonderful and well-thought out. I came to Hotel Miró injured off the Camino de Santiago and needed a place that was comfortable to recuperate. Hotel Miró was this and more. All the members of staff were exceptionally kind — Josu, Aitor, Laura in the spa, and many more I have sadly forgotten. My sister later joined me and they were eager to accommodate. We went down to the Honesty Bar often for bags of ice and they never batted an eye! All to say — gorgeous hotel, great location, spacious rooms, but above all, the staff. Can’t wait to come back — not injured next time, I hope!

Very good price/quality ratio. We were provided with a cot for our daughter but also we were surprised to find a baby bath in the shower and a teddy bear as a gift. We absolutely loved the utilities in the room. It looked small but had many hidden design solutions that made it feel more spacious and comfortable like hidden wardrobe, curtains instead of doors, mobile furniture and more. The breakfast was tasty and versatile.

Not the most convenient entrance for a stroller but this didn’t spoil our stay at all

Our trip to Bilbao was absolutely magical- truly the best vacation we’ve ever had. And this was so much due to the staff at Hotel Miró. They were incredible. They were so responsive, helped us arrange car trips and a babysitter, and genuinely took care of us whenever we needed anything. We had a family room package and the staff even arranged for some toys for our toddler in the room. I’ve never met a more caring, cohesive staff. This is clearly due to stellar management. Rubén, Esther, Gorka, Bryan, Mamen, they were like family to us. We want to go back just to stay at this gem of a hotel. We genuinely did not want to leave. We are so grateful for the kindness and love these people showed us. The location of this hotel is the best in Bilbao. It is across the street from a gorgeous park with an outdoor little cafe and the famous Guggenheim museum. We walked everywhere. It is indisputably the best hotel in Bilbao.

Lovely stay at Hotel Miro. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotless and the rooms a great size. Shower had great water pressure and lots of hot water. Breakfast was great and if you fancied a let drink in the evening there is an honesty bar available. The location is fantastic too, only a hundred metres or so from the Guggenheim and a short walk into the shopping centre or a 15 min walk down to the olde town.

The building is beautiful, and we liked the touches of antiques displayed in a modern interior. The room is spacious and quiet. The antique doors and room artwork was a nice surprise.It was convenient to have a cafe in the lobby. We grabbed a quick bite when we arrived early before check in. The location made it easy to walk to all the hot spots. The live piano music in the evening was relaxing and beautiful.

The location was great - just steps from the Guggenheim museum. The staff was also good and also offered free tickets to the museum which was a nice surprise. The hotel was comfortable, and the room was clean. The value for the price was good.

The shower didn't have hot water unfortunately. The gym was very small and basic.

Greatly appreciated the view from my (upgraded😊👍) room on the front elevation of the bldg, the layout and space in the room, the fact that the windows opened!!, helpful and obliging staff, enjoyed the Moulton Brown potions. Your location is wonderful : convenient, fabulous views of the plaza and titanium exterior of the museum, across the bridge and river to hills opposite (which I climbed on Day One, a dazzlingly warm sunny Sunday, along with "half the population of Bilbao"), splendid access to "the Gehry" (and the very helpful tourism office - help with timetables for buses to and from San Sebastian, for example), readily accessible local shops and amenities, proximity of the tram stop - marvellous!, ease of visiting the Bellas Artes museum and the glorious park adjacent where I shared the pleasure of local residents enjoying the day. Etc, etc. Everything (except the Guggenheim itself) was on a human scale, including your establishment, and could be savoured at a comfortable pace - important for someone still recovering from a tricky cardiac procedure. When Lufthansa's operations in and out of Germany were suspended on short notice, grounding me in Bilbao on the day I was meant to fly home via Frankfurt, your front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful in ensuring that I could remain in my room for one more night and then getting me safely en route to the airport at an exceedingly early hour the next morning. Made the upheaval tolerable. (Besides, what's not to like about an extra day in Bilbao??) I chose the Miro at the suggestion of a friend from London who stayed with you fifteen years ago and still remembers it fondly. I couldn't have been happier with my decision and hope I'll have a chance to visit you again.
