We loved the colourful atmosphere and great location. Everything was within walking distance while staying in the dt core. Being next to Heavenly (restaurant) and having coupons to use there was also a huge bonus! Loved the design above the bed with all the islands. Although we weren’t crazy about the process in getting to the pool, the colourful staircase was very beautiful. We also enjoyed the red necklaces we received upon arriving.

There were dirty socks on the floor left from the previous guest. Didn’t like that the bathroom had no fan. It felt like a big wet condensation box whenever the shower ran. Wasn’t crazy about the process in getting to the pool, would be nice to have a more direct route.

The location was amazing, close to shops and restaurants and the beach. The staff were super helpful and they gave us dole whip when we arrived! The pool and lobby were very cute and picturesque.

The double rooms were tiny - not ideal for sharing with more than 2 people. The bathroom was also very small. They only have one double room per floor, so it was not possible to get 2 double rooms next to each other.

The hotel has friendly vibes form the design to the staff. Great location at the heart to Waikiki. Tasted breakfast at heavenly with daily 5$ discount. Several discounts included in the resort fee.

The taxi services arranged by the hotel. I hoped that the taxi cooperating with a hotel would have verified rates but he charged us more that the suggested rates by the hotel. 20$ to Dimond Head and 43$ to the airport! When we took a random taxi from the airport it was 34$… the men seems like a scam taking advantage of the tourists. We were staying just for 2 days and needed a taxi quickly and early in the morning. Take an Uber!

The staff at the hotel are all wonderful. It was clean and the decor in the common areas was vibrant and fun. The best thing about this hotel is the location, you're right in the thick of things and can walk everywhere, that's mostly what you're paying for.

I was somewhat disappointed with the room itself. It's obvious that this is an old hotel that has just been given a facelift vs a full remodeling. The fixtures and fittings in the room/bathroom were old and not what I would associate with a 4* hotel. The pool area is also a lot smaller than it looks on the website and there are only 4 available sun loungers at any given time, so actually being able to lie by the pool during peak hours was somewhere between hard - impossible.

Right when you walk in the lobby is bright and fun. the staff was always friendly and said hello and went above and beyond to assist you with what you needed. The rooms were very clean. The free coffee in the morning was delicious.

The location was perfect to the beach, shopping and bus and trolley stops. It was safe too.

Wifi wasn't fast. There were some annoying people on the same floor at night and who took time for checking out so be careful to have enough time. The fire alarm of the hotel next to this hotel worked twice during 5 nights :( The timing of room cleaning was late and I met cleaning staff 3 times. The window lock was broken. The shower was kind of broken, not strong and shampoo and hair conditioner seemed like water.

The staff was friendly, helpful, responsive, always there. I could not be more satisfied with our service. I loved the colors of the hotel's common areas and in the rooms! I appreciated the valet service. It was a differentiator for me. The restaurant associated with the hotel was fantastic.

I would have liked having a dresser in my room as I don't like living out of my suitcase. I would have liked a coffee maker in the room, even though there was free, freshly-made coffee in the lobby and packets of instant coffee in the room.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Exactly what I would expect from a Hawaii hotel for my first time visiting. It's NOT a resort hotel, but the attached restaurant is great and the location for the price is perfect! Very close to all the shopping and the beach. And across the street are a couple amazing food trucks. One with fresh and unique donuts. The hotel was clean, friendly and they have a valet that made sure my rental was taken care of and ready when I needed it. We loved it so much, we extended an extra night!

Parking wasn’t ideal. Hallways smelt like smoke.

The hotel is perfectly located, you can walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and welcoming, they even upgraded our room for free. The rooms have been renovated since our last visit, they are nicely decorated and clean. Will come back again.

As every hotel in Waikiki, I find the room rate too high. But I’d say that the Shoreline has one of the best quality / price ratio of Waikiki area.
