It is a great central location for exploring the heat of Christchurch and restaurants and cafes are walking distance along with markets and shopping opportunities. the Reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming and also very accommodating.

The location was excellent as I was at a conference at Te Pae. It was also very close to places to eat. My room was upgraded to a King Bed room and it was on a corner with two windows - with fabulous views (I kept taking pictures and sending them to my family). The room was spacious and light, really comfortable, immaculate and spotless, with everything I needed including a dressing gown and Nespresso coffee machine and fridge. The shower was great and good to have a bath if I had wanted one. The staff were really friendly - everyone I came across smiled and said hello. Check in/out was super easy. I just loved staying here. It was perfect!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fable Christchurch, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Location: Situated in the central business district, Fable Christchurch is perfectly positioned for exploring the city. It's within walking distance of key attractions like the Christchurch Cathedral, Botanic Gardens, and a variety of shops and restaurants. Stylish Decor: The hotel’s interior is beautifully designed, blending contemporary elegance with a nod to its historic roots. The attention to detail in the decor, from the lobby to the rooms, adds a touch of sophistication. Comfortable Rooms: The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The beds, in particular, are heavenly, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the luxurious toiletries and the quality of the in-room amenities. Exceptional Service: The staff at Fable Christchurch went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. They were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any requests or provide local recommendations.

Parking: While the hotel does offer valet parking, it can be a bit pricey, and there are limited on-site spaces. However, there are nearby parking options if you’re looking for something more budget-friendly. Limited Views: Depending on the room, the views may be somewhat limited, particularly on lower floors. However, the central location more than makes up for this.

The view from the room was great, the location was very handy as well. It was very close to the Central Library, Cashel Street, and the Bus Interchange, among other places. The room was really clean, came with all the works, though I only stayed for one night so I couldn't make full use of the room. The continental breakfast was really good as well, fresh and what I needed after a night out in town. The receptionists were great as well, I wish I got her name but she gave a glowing recommendation about Delilah on Oxford Terrace, and were really helpful with my bags (I also had flag stands) among other things. Shoutout as well to the staffer who placed my Uber Eats order at reception at 3 am, when I was late to greet the driver outside. Overall, can greatly recommend! Side note, Singapore Airlines cabin crews were checking in when I was checking out, which I take is a testament to how good the hotel was.

This was my second time staying at the Fable Christchurch, and it definitely won’t be my last. My partner and I spent the weekend in Christchurch for our anniversary and my birthday. We were welcomed so warmly by the guy on front reception whom I can’t remember his name, but he was so accommodating and kind and really started our weekend off on a positive note. Our bedroom was perfectly serviced each day, the accommodation team even folded some clothes I had left on the bed by accident! What we really love about the Fable is the central location, awesome views, comfortable beds, and amazing staff. We generally like to change around hotels when we revisit somewhere but when we are next in Christchurch we will definitely be booking into the Fable again!

Minor detail - but a card or some way to order room service breakfast would have been a big plus!

Very convenient location. Rooms were simple but nice. Bed very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Generally a very good stay.

Just some very minor cons - lifts are fairly small and slow and at peak times people on the lower floors were often unable to get on the lift with their luggage. Some issues with their card machine and thus they charged my card on file which received international transaction fees so just something to be mindful of and potentially make sure you book with the most appropriate card. Showers take a very long time to get warm.

The location was perfect! Many useful amenities close by. View was such a treat, I didn't relaise this when booking. Staff were amazingly friendly and professional. Dinner was amazing, I had the smoked fish starter and the beef cheek. The cocktail menu was great.

Upon arrival, I approached the front desk where one female was working at the screen. I waited a moment, expecting to be greeted. I wasn't acknowledged until a second staff member approached the desk, to which the first staff member said 'you can do check in.'

Excellent service from the moment we arrived. Our room (1 bedroom suite) was beautiful with ample room. Huge bathroom with double vanities and a double spa bath. Although the breakfast included was continental, it was perfect for us. Plenty of cafes around if you want something more substantial. We ate at the restaurant for dinner every night of our stay and had outstanding service from the restaurant staff, but would like to mention both Kaushik and Connor. Both are a credit to the Fable Chain. Highly recommend the Fable Christchurch. We will definitely be staying again. Well done.

Fantastic location in a great part of town. Modern and clean. The bar is really nice and happy hour was a bonus, it would be good before a show at Issac Theatre Royal or the new Court Theatre being built. We had a good view out of our room and the morning view of the Southern Alps was stunning. Being right across from New Regent Street is great, there are numerous little cafes and boutique shops and a great whiskey bar and a gin bar. If you are staying in Christchurch for a convention it's about a 30 second walk to Te Pae. We loved our stay at Fable.

Lovely room on the 15th floor with awesome views of the city and surrounds. The room and bathroom were beautifully clean and well presented. The location of the hotel is extremely handy, being minutes away from the centre of town.

The only issue I found was that the two lifts, travelling up through multiple floors, meant a long wait on occasion - particularly when one of the lifts was being maintained. My ordered room service was 10 minutes late (due to the many stops in the lift), which meant I had to eat quickly to make an appointment.
