The property is beautiful inside and out. The location was good. While not in the historical downtown core it was a short walk to a Tram station ( Tram A ) which took us there in minutes. Easy access parking. The continental breakfast was excellent. All types of coffee included. Our room ( Salinières Suite ) was spacious and very well appointed plus it looked onto the garden/patio area. Sylvie, Sébastien and Ludmilla welcomed us and over beverages gave us an overview of the area and information on the historical downtown sites. Sylvie also recommended a restaurant Café Français right across from the cathedral which was excellent as well. I don't think we have ever felt as welcomed at a place we have stayed at before. Truly memorable.

On our part, I wish we had booked a longer visit.

Le Clos des Queyries is a charming, safe, and accesssible bed and breakfast that my husband and I enjoyed very much. The rooms are sparkling clean and comfortable. The homemade breakfasts were wonderful. Owners Sylvie and Sebastian are friendly and professional, and they helped us in every way that we needed assistance. They clearly care about the quality of their property and service for their customers’ excellent experience of Le Clos des Queyries.

Our only wishes are that we understood when booking that our room that it did not have a television (other rooms there have a tv), and that there are few restaurants in easy walking distance of the property—but that fact is not something that Le Clos des Queyries can control.

Reserved 4 of the suites and were only guests for a very special celebratatory weekend together with our family. Absolutely perfect for our requirements, a beautiful building with two fabulously decorated ground floor rooms and two more upstairs. Loved hearing the frogs in the garden pond. Enjoyed the location being slightly out of the centre as metro was so easy to use and the metro tickets also took you on the boats on the river. Sylvie and Sebastien were delightful and couldnt do enough to assist in making our visit absolutely perfect. Felt totally relaxed, just like being at home - it was a truly memorable weekend. Will definitely return.

Nothing - it was perfect for us all.

We loved it here and would definitely come back! The room was so clean it was pristine. And the bed was comfortable and the bedding high quality. You won’t find anything better anywhere else. The owners Sylvie and Sebastian are so kind, warm, welcoming,interesting and entertaining that we have no choice but to love them. And the student from Portugal that works the cafe is charming and was super helpful! The property is located in a normal neighborhood, but it’s behind a gate and it’s landscaped beautifully and feels like an oasis. And right around the corner you can get the tram right in the downtown Bordeaux. You wouldn’t want to drive in the town and find parking anyhow. This is the way to go. So much better than staying at a hotel. They serve a delicious breakfast here too, and you’ll enjoy getting to talk to the other guests if they’re around.

A beautiful hotel located in a very quiet area close to the main tram line. 5 stops and in the centre of Bordeaux. The room was superb with a great shower and very comfortable bed. Easy to drive to and good parking on-site. Breakfast good with home-made yoghurt and confiture. The owners Sylvie & Sebastien were very welcoming and helped us immensely with information on what to visit and how to get there. They also booked a restaurant for us whixh was superb. I would recommend the Cafe du Port. great food and location sitting overlooking the river. Definitely a great place to stay if visiting Bordeaux.

Having to leave

This property is a wonderful, relaxing oasis just on the outskirts of Bordeaux with fantastic tram links into the city in just 6 mins. Sylvie & Sebastian r amazing hosts & they make your stay very comfortable. Their continental breakfast is delicious with homemade yoghurt & jams. The accommodation is very clean, beautifully decorated & comfortable. Would highly recommend!!!

My only one negative would be the spiral staircase in one of the bedrooms which we did find quite tricky, but we r 60 plus.

Sylvie and Sebastien the owners are the friendliest people I have met running a hotel. They have renovated the remains of an old wine chateau to a lovely standard. Only a few, personal service and a great breakfast. Do not be put off by the location of the hotel. The best way to get around Bordeaux is by tram. It is very cheap and way better than using Taxis. Sylvie talked us through how easy it was to use and we could be from the hotel into the heart of Bordeaux in 10 or 12 minutes. €1.30 to use the tram for 1 hour. That is a bargain. Take the tram from the Airport to Jean Jures on the A Line. 45 minutes. A 3 minute walk to the hotel. €70 by taxi. less than €3 for a couple.

Nothing really. We thought initally that we were too far out of the city centre. We were wrong.

Exceptional breakfast including delicious yoghurt and fresh pastries (we miss them already)! Brilliant staff- Sylvie, Sebastian & Carla were so attentive and just truly lovely people. The tram is a 5 minute walk away and is so easy and cheap to get into the town centre. We recommend visiting Melodie for dinner and heading out to the vineyards in Medoc and Saint Emillion. This was our first time in Bordeaux, and it certainty wont be our last! If you’re looking for a home away from home, this is the place. We look forward to coming back to Bordeaux and staying at Le Clos Des Queyries once more. Merci, Sylvie et Sebastian!

Everything! A 5 star hotel could not be better. Elegant accommodation, spacious grounds. The most welcoming hosts you could wish for. Lovely breakfast with the chocolate croissants flaking off in delicate layers of pastry. Close to trams which take you everywhere in Bordeaux.The owners organised reservations in good restaurants and were most helpful when we had trouble with our car. Having travelled extensively in France, this establishment and the owners rate as one of our best experiences

Absolutely nothing at all.

Les Clos des Queries was exceptional in every way. A beautiful room which was spotlessly clean. our breakfast was delicious with lovely home made touches and our hosts Sylvie and Sebastien were delightful. Friendly, warm and very helpful with lots of information about the city they love. It was also very easy to access the city centre with a nearby tram which ran frequently into the centre. it was a real treat to stay at their beautiful oasis.
