Cosy and stylish interior of both the room and a bathroom, we had a great view from both windows. Great location , very close to the train station and the restaurants.

unfortunately it was too noisy the night we stayed there - first we heard some screams from the pub downstairs - probably someone was having a hen party until 11 pm (thanks god no later) and then they went to their rooms upstairs on our floor while being drunk and noisy - sound isolation isn't great in the corridor. Moreover, I believe the hotel uses central heating, as I wasn't able to control the temperature in the room but it wasn't too cold, I just wish it was slightly warmer in the room...

Location was great, close to the city center and the train station, and well within walking distance to the Planpraz gondola (Brevent) and Aiguille du Midi. Staff was great and storing our gear was convenient.

The bar next door had a cover band playing all the pop hits of the 90s and 00s every night (but Sunday). Luckily, they wrapped by a decent time (21:00 or 22:00 I believe). The room was a bit tight for 3 of us, but that was to be expected. And the lighting was a bit dim, but again, we managed.

Excellent hotel, across the road from Chamonix station. Very comfortable room. Room was big for a single traveller, well appointed, high standard furniture and bathroom.

The room was a little dark, the lightbulbs could have been brighter. Breakfast was great, but as it wasn’t self service there was a lot of waste. Each table had a bag with 2 croissants and a lot of bread, which was too much for one person.

Breakfast was frugal, could be a bit more substantial. The location is very good, in terms of a) the view of the mountains; b) proximity to shops etc; and c) very good communication links. The railway station is just across the road, the free Mulet bus stop is right in front, and many of the other locations are within walkable distance.

Perfect location, very comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, very easy to get to the bus and access all the mountains. Heated floors in the bathrooms were a very nice touch. Great option for a solo traveler and would definitely book again.

It hadn’t been made clear to me that I needed a special type of room reservation to use the restaurant for dinner, which was an unfortunate surprise when I arrived. Lots of alternative options around so it was fine but would have enjoyed the convenience of the hotel restaurant on some nights.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, which we found particularly well located and good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and found the staff to be polite and friendly.

We asked for a bit of help with navigating the ski area/bus system from reception staff, who could not provide any useful advice. One frankly stated she did not ski, whilst the other gave incorrect advice, meaning we lugged ski gear half way across town when we could have got the bus very close to the hotel. Found it a bit strange, as reception staff in hotels in ski resorts do usually provide such information.

Comfortable bed and reasonable sized room. Nice decoration in the bedroom. Very quiet despite the location. Breakfast was also good although could have done with scrambled Egg as well as boiled eggs.

I forgot my UK power adaptor. Such a shame there was none available to borrow or even a USB cable to give my phone a charge. I ended up without a phone until the following day until I could purchase one.. Completely my fault but I would have expected a USB charging point somewhere or even an offer of charging a phone behind the bar for 20mins in such a nice hotel.

The staff were lovely! Helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and really lovely. This place was such great value for money. It was right near the shops but not noisy. My room had a cute little balcony and a beautiful view. I moved to another hotel a kilometre down the road the next night to join a tour group. It was rubbish and twice the price!! Stay at the Gustavia!

Loved the management and staff. Such awesome people, it now feels like we met family. Love how this hotel allow you to just be you. It is soooo child friendly and just a bloody awesome experience!

Excellent breakfast. Helpful, welcoming and friendly staff and the front desk as well as in the restaurant/bar. Nicely appointed room. Comfortable bed. Good shower.

Our room was the corner at the end of the hall overlooking the outdoor bars/dining. Quite noisy until about 2:00 when the partying patrons departed. On the plus side, it had two nice big windows.
