Location in city center and wonderfully furnished with modern style . The Customer service is Outstanding ! Jeremy in front desk is exceptional in his work , he is very helpful , has knowledge about tours and activities enthusiastic and helpful ! Cassandra at the bar / restaurant is also very helpful caters to clients needs and great at her work . This hotel is ideal for long or short stay .The view from my room is so far one of the best I have seen with a huge balcony ! With a direct view on Montblanc from room / balcony its exceptional .

The Hotel didn’t have Airconditioner . Now it’s very hot in Chamonix , but cools down a bit . Jeremy suggested I put a bucket of ice in front of the fan . It did work the room became cooler after that .

The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. Standard rooms were small but adequate for our needs. There were secure ski lockers for each room which made for a nice ski room experience. Ski bus stops were very adjacent as was the heart of the town.

We were a little cold in our room even though we got extra blankets and were grateful for the bath which was how we warmed up before bed. Servicing of the room was minimal and we had no spare toilet roll for the last two days. The breakfast buffet was great and owned at 7am but for early departures there was no lotion to get anything before 7 which I felt was poor. A coffee machine in the bar with some fruit and some wrapped madeleines would make all the difference.

It was a great experience. Close to everything. Clean hotel and great staff. Definitely will come back🤝

Room was spacious and even the "no view" room had a nice view. Location was excellent near the nordic centre and close to town centre, shops and restaurants. We utilised the spa and sauna every night at no extra charge and it was wonderful. Staff went to extra care to get us a vase for flowers, ice and a bucket for champagne and front desk arranged for beautiful rose petals placed in shape of a heart for our special wedding anniversary. Room safe provided. Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of options and an exceptional view. Stored our luggage on check in and check out without any issues.

We stayed here on the last day of our TMB trek. What a treat! Firstly we got upgraded to a premium room, which had awesome views of the mountains. Then we used the spa facilities which were very good ( time slot needs to be booked in advance).. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower room was large and well equipped. The staff were very nice and polite too. They stored our backpacks twice when we asked with no hassle. We had breakfast in the morning that was served on the 7th floor with direct mountain views. It had a large selection . Also the bar/cafe area downstairs was very large and we've seen travellers waiting there comfortably. It has a lot of comfortable sofas, games and a pool table.

The price of the breakfast was a bit too steep. For the price everything should have been perfect, but the pancakes were inedible. Everything else was good.

It was the second time my wife and I stayed at Alpina, and both times, the experience was excellent! The staff is very kind, the facilities and location are great, and the restaurant offers a magnificent view!

a) Gym – The hotel could enhance the gym by investing in a new treadmill. Additionally, installing blinds would be beneficial, as it was quite difficult to run there in the afternoon due to the sunlight. b) Jacuzzis – Above the jacuzzis, there were large, odd-looking wooden pieces resembling decorative lamps, which felt unsafe. I highly recommend that the hotel remove them."

No water inside the rooms, also the parking cost 30 EUR per day

The buffet in the evening is not value for money. Not a great choice . We booked for 2 adults and two children, but weren’t told till after we’ve eaten that children need to be under 12 otherwise they get charged the full price. Our children are 13 and 14 and don’t eat that much in any event so it’s very expensive meal at 45 euros per head ( very few deserts and no ice cream , 1 choice of cheese and 1 ham!) There’s far nicer and cheaper places just on the doorstep outside.

Location was so close to everything, central location in the valley making everything walking distance to all attractions and the main shopping street. Staff were extremely helpful with directions, making us comfortable during our stay, foods locations and accommodating with any requests like last minute spa appointments. The spa facilities were also great, a perfect way to relax after an extremely long day walking and hiking mountains and, there was a great view from the windows to reflect.

Room needs aircon or even just a ceiling fan in the room! It can get quite humid in the room. Opening the door allows mosquitos in and noise from the Main Street at night or unable to close the blinds properly. the little Dyson fan on the table was quite small, it would have made the room comfortable with a bigger fan.

This hotel is first class don’t hesitate to book. From the moment we arrived the staff were very polite at check in and very helpful throughout our stay accommodating all our requests and needs. The room was cosy and warm with a coffee machine and fridge (superior double) the view from the room/balcony was breathtaking. The spa was lovely. The breakfast couldn’t of been better a wide selection and really good quality with a view to match from the top floor of this beautiful hotel. Finally the location is perfect a short walk to the town. We can’t wait to come back. I don’t usually leave reviews but felt like I had to for the Alpina Chamonix thanks to all for our amazing stay.
