Very good location, right in the city centre with all the shops and restaurants, easy access to all attractions, Aiguille du Midi cable car, train stations, Mer de glace. Stay in the hotel allows to get a card for free use of trains. Relatively cheaper price, than other hotels in the area. Clean bad linen, daily room cleaning. Breakfast is exactly what you can expect from 2 stars. Fine option if you just need to stay somewhere with affordable price and very basic facilities.

Hotel is fairly dated. Room is tiny, shower cabins need some renovation. Due to absence of air conditioner and size of the room we had to keep the window open, and it was very noisy. Absence of elevator may be difficult for the people living in the higher floors.

We had a simple but very nice room that had a small balcony overlooking the bar downstairs and a small plaza. The bar provides a fun and friendly atmosphere when you arrive and then it closes early so you do not loose any sleep. The view over looking the mountains is amazing. The plaza has a church and tourist information office, so the location is fantastic. Our room had a nice shower and breakfast was great. They stored our luggage while we went hiking. The staff spoke some English and was friendly and helpful.

We will stay here again!

Centrally located, rooms with a clear view of the Mont Blanc, friendly staff. What else could you want? Bathroom was very modern, and the beds were comfortable. I almost forgot, breakfast was delicious!

Ski-wise, the closest cable car is 500 m away but carrying the skis that long with a 50 m elevation gain is not entirely easy, however there are very frequent buses that take you for free to all the ski areas around Chamonix and I advise you to go for this option. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, just in the lobby, when we were there, however it wasn’t a problem for us.

We were allowed to check in early and I think we had an upgrade of room as ours had a balcony which was lovely. The room was charming and clean and the large bed was comfortable. We were very happy there. The shower was a decent size as well.

There was nothing we didn't like. The staff were all good...they run a cafe underneath the hotel so you do not get the 5 star treatment of a much more expensive hotel. For the money we paid, in the centre of Chamonix, I thought the hotel was excellent value!!

The facility was exceptionally clean, the staff very friendly and helpfull. We could use the dining room with our own food for dinner and have free coffee during the day. Breakfast with them was fantastic! Big variety of food, including bacon and eggs! We were very impressed all round with this hotel and really want to thank them for making our stay there so special. They also gave excellent info about things to do and places to see. Free wifi was a bonus!!

Clean and warm and in a great location with undercover parking nearby for about 8 euro per night.

Difficult to locate and there are bollards in place across the road to prevent access to the area of the hotel. I found later that you can scroll through the list of the hotels on the keyboard and the reception will let you in to unload. Also the reception is in another hotel which further complicates things. All of this needs to be clearer as it was a bit frustrating and it was raining when we arrived as well.

Great location - in the city centre and less than 5 minutes to train station. Breakfast was amazing with a wide selection of hot and cold options. Check-in and breakfast are at the hotel across the street - they let us store a bag for free while on the TMB without a reservation after and helped us arrange for a luggage transfer that wouldn’t occur for 7 days after we left.

The room was very small which wasn’t an issue for a short stay but I imagine it would be a bit uncomfortable for two adults over a couple days.

Everything about this property was perfect for us! The location was great, pretty well centre in the town. The rooms are made up daily and are super cozy and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the included breakfast was excellent! Was a lot better than we were expecting for the price you pay. This hotel is well and truly worth the money and would highly recommend to any budget travellers.

The only thing that was a slight inconvenience and I think it was mostly just getting unlucky, the people above us were VERY loud and were stomping around all night!

The staff were fantastic and the location is perfect. The hotel has a daytime bar which is reasonably priced and very friendly.

Its in need of an upgrade but that is already planned. The breakfast is continental and would benefit from some further options even if its not a full cooked breakfast ie boiled eggs.

Amazing views of Mont Blanc & Augille di Midi from my balcony! I had a huge room with a bunk bed and a standard bed! Nice classic wood paneling and old fashioned light fixtures! The main shopping & dining area is right outside your door! Wonderful tasty breakfast too! The staff are very nice and will help with any questions! Thanks again for a memorable stay!

My room was above the bar, so you could hear the loud music until around 10:30pm!
