Great room with a great view from the balcony despite some construction in the area. Very easy access to the places we wanted to visit in Chamonix (shops and restaurants). We also liked the breakfast option. It is very cute and my family was very impressed that I found such a nice place without knowing the area.
The room was so quiet during the daytime but in the middle of the night there was a lot of commotion that sounded like it was coming from the street. I thought this was just a one time thing, but it happened again the second night. It was very disruptive to our rest, but I don't fault the hotel for this. This was the only negative of the stay.

After the initial anger of not being able to clearly find out if the hotel has a charging station, the manager, Isabelle, was skilled enough to calm me down and explain everything to me in a mature, clear and very easy to understand manner. If it wasn't for her communication skills, I wouldn't give this place such high marks. The hotel itself is cosy and comfortable.
Breakfast was weak, without crispy bacon, tomatoes, or cucumbers, and there is no EV charging station even though a charger could be installed as there are a couple of places beside the hotel for temporary parking.

Great location: in the city center. All stores, restaurants, bars and Train station are in walking distance. The hotel is located at pedestrian street, near the river. Very good breakfast is served, Friendly and very helpful staff, comfortable beds, clean rooms, comfortable ski room in the basement. I asked to change the room as the latch at the bathroom's window did not work properly and I was moved into another room more comfortable one within 10 minutes.
There were paper cups in the room and in the bathroom instead of glasses, we were forced to buy glasses. The wardrobe was too small for 2 people, taking into account the ski/snowboard ammunition. No hooks for outerwear and no space for it in the wardrobe. All the rest was excellent.

The hotel was delightful and conveniently located near the center of Chamonix. With an abundance of restaurants and shops nearby and its proximity to the river, the setting felt truly idyllic. The staff were pleasant, and the rooms were exceptionally comfortable, albeit on the smaller side. However, the rooms were tastefully furnished, and we enjoyed having a balcony overlooking the river. While the spa facility consisted of only a small steam sauna, it was a nice addition to our stay (though we just hope that the seating is sanitized between each use). The breakfast provided was exceptional as well. It's worth noting that you need to use paid parking facilities if you come by car, with the nearest lot costing 19.50 Euros per day. However, along the main street leading to the hotel, there are some free parking spaces available. Additionally, dining out in Chamonix can be quite expensive. The ski resort of Brevent is nearby, but I recommend using the ski bus (number 14) from Chamonix Centre station, since the ski station is up on a hill.
Hot chocolate button at coffee machine didn't work :(

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, the pool is a win in the summer with a great view too. Nice area to relax next to the river after a long day in the mountains and it is always clean. We had a late transfer to the airport and was able take a shower in the downstairs bathroom after a sweaty day in the mountains (and they provided towels) which was incredible and greatly appreciated. I have stayed here before and will again, it is generally one of the first hotels I look at when going to Chamonix.
I asked for a river side room given as I know it cools down a bit at night which is very helpful as the rooms don't have aircon or fans so it gets incredibly hot in the summer. Unfortunately this could not be provided and also couldn't sleep with curtains open to get fresh air in as there is currently a construction site opposite the hotel and flashing lights from the crane The rooms on the street side can get quite noisy late at night/early morning with restaurants at street level and people returning after a night out, so cant really leave windows/doors open for air in the heat.

Hotel is very cozy. We were very happy with our room. ( Junior Suite ) There is a garden behind breakfast room. The garden looks to Arve river. Perfect place for a tea or coffee. Breakfast is OK, you may encounter freshly baked bread which tasted excellent. Staff is very friendly. There is a good italian restaurant in 1 min. walking distance. Hotel is placed near a lot of restaurants and shops. Bathroom was superb, you get hot water in a second.
Unfortunately, there is an ongoing construction nearby as of August '23. Perhaps it's not the same for all rooms but we had a lot of noise. ( room 403 ) There is no air conditioning. We opened all the windows, it was more or less OK. One night there was a fire alarm because one guy in reception tried to heat some bread. He could go through the floors and tell people that there is nothing to worry. At first day, my wife found the bed sheets not in the cleanest condition. Our room key cards broke down from time to time.

So much to love! Hotel Les Gourmets is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Chamonix. The location couldn’t be better - it’s a 2 minute walk to the main square but it was also super quiet, both in the day and at night time. Our room on the 4th floor had fantastic views across the rooftops to the mountains beyond. The room was modern, spacious and tastefully decorated with a large, comfy double bed and a huge bathroom with a bath and shower (loads of hot water), towel radiator, hairdryer, soap and shampoo etc. In the room there is a kettle and a fridge - great for us tea loving Brits! The ski/boot room spacious and warm with boot dryers. Baggage can be stored if you arrive early or depart late. Staff are super friendly and all with excellent English. This hotel was such a great find and we highly recommend it.

Stunning location, pretty little village of Chamonix, the view from.our balcony was to die for, watching the sun rise over the Mont Blanc Massif, absolutely breathtaking.😍 Rooms are on the small.side.,but then you don't need more. Bed was comfy, I would have liked to have a mini fridge in the room but there was none. Breakfast was ok, for 15 euro/person. Hotel.is located very centrally, close to the main street with shops and restaurants. In the summer they have a pool as well. Overall a nice stay, I would go again for sure.
Lack of a fridge in the room

An exceptional hotel in an exceptional location. Our family of four have fallen in love with Cham and this hotel is a part of that love. Keep up the good work!
The communication of exactly HOW to get to the hotel for luggage drop off would have helped. There is a moveable steel pylon litterally in the road and you must pull up to a small display. You must scroll to les Gormet and push a button to notify the hotel you're trying to get in to unload the luggage. It worked out and was no big deal and we loved it anyway!

Awesome place to stay! My son and I stayed one night before our TMB trekking. The location is great! Right next to a beautiful river and near restaurants and shopping places where we stocked our supplies. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and nice with everything that you can ask for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love all the sitting areas and the pool - super relaxing and cozy.
The only thing for me is that the bathroom seems not having ventilation system. Maybe I didn’t find it.
