The location was incredible.. near Anhalter Bahnhof and bus stops.. close to markets and cafes... Also there were many interesting places you could walk to.. The hostel has a nice vibe and cool people.. the building is interesting, the main lobby is welcoming and has a bar with several tables and sofas... the outdoorspace was also good. I stayed there on two different occasions, and both rooms were good, although shared, they were not completely full on either occasion. the beds were comfortable... the bathrooms were reasonable, clean but with a lot of people using them

All the doors in the building make a slamming noise when they close.. you can hear it at night.. The breakfast was a bit expensive.. However, there are other options that are really close

Bar in the lobby, fast wifi, good location and a LIDL nearby: what else can you possibly need in the hostel in Berlin? Just a great place for a couple of nights. Reception works 24/7, clients are mostly young solo travellers, so if you want you can find a company to explore the city together. There are free lockers in the room and you can buy a lock for 3 euro if you don't have one.

The bathroom on my floor was constantly broken so I went on the upper floor for a shower. Also of course there are all problems of the hostel: people, little beds and stuff like that

Very loud door closing mechanism in the living room. So when anybody comes late he makes non-intentional loud boom by the door.

Central location and value are top characteristics of this property. Beds are not bad at all, yet nothing exceptional, so no USB charging or curtains or any of that, pillows are okay. alright lockers.

Check in experience was not friendly for my specific experience. As soon as I stepped into reception to check-in in the morning I was told I was early, as she assumed my booking. Whereas I actually have booked the night before arrival as I hand a long layover on my way to Berlin. Attitude or hospitality was lacking if not there at all. Other reception staff after that experience were all just fantastic I have to say and super friendly.

The location was fantastic in walking distance to downtown area of Berlin. Pretty good food options near by that are great to get a quick bite to eat. The recreational area was really cool, pool table, foosball table, a little bar to grab drink and chill after day of seeing the sites. Its located inside an old church thats really cool, looks sick on the inside. Washing machines are located in the building great to have and well priced. Felt very safe there. Cleaning staff does a great job making sure the rooms stay clean.

There are only 1 washer 1 dryer in the building so gotta be strategic when you wash you clothes. Also if you have claustrophobia using the elevator will be hard, it's an old old building elevator been there since the war probably. But the stairs are there.

Amazing location, only a 15 minute walk to potsdamer platz and a stones throw distance to the anhalter bahnhof. Very clean hostel with a modern common room. Staff were helpful. They have a fridge and microwave behind the reception for food. Luggage storage is available but you need to bring your own padlock unless you would rather pay for one at reception. Showers were clean and warm.

Toilet cubicles were quite small, so those of us who were in a mixed room had a small changing space. The 6 bed dorms meant that everyone was getting up a different times which led to restless nights sleep.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The reception area was enjoyable with different games. All around the hostel was really clean. Beds were comfy. Even through it was shared toilets and showers, I never saw another person in them. Breakfast in the mornings was good, a good selection. It felt safe and secure here. The location was great we walked everywhere and it didn't feel too far.

Late into the night in the room you could hear other guests speaking, doors closing and people walking past the room. This happened on one or two nights.

Beautiful building and fine beds. Showers were good and the bathrooms were clean ! The receptionist staff were all incredibly accommodating and nice, they helped me when i spilled juice in my bed to get new sheets which was great. Overall a lovely stay! Close to a couple different metro stations and decently close to the Berlin Mitte. Highly recommend :)

The doors to the rooms were very heavy, which meant that they slammed very heavy when you entered or left the room. This was a little annoying since many people would go in and out the dorms while the others were sleeping. Plus you could hear very well from the corridors, which was an issue when people came back from the clubs being loud and would wake you up.

The location was great. There was a train station quite nearby and overall it was located very central. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was really nice. There is also a water station, where you can refill your water bottle anytime. The art in the hallway was also nice to look at. They also placed a fan in the room, which was really useful as it was very warm up on the 5th floor.

For me, it was a new experience with shared bathrooms, and I discovered that I'm not the biggest fan of it. Our room was located on the 5th floor, where the doors were quite noisy and so were our neighbored guests. The elevator was really slow and tiny, so we took the stairs downstairs.

This is a very social hostel! Everyone from staff to patrons were really really friendly. As a solo traveller, I found it really easy to make connections with other solo travellers. The bar, coffee, courtyard, and common dining area make it really easy to meet people in this home away from home. The Hostel's location was PERFECT. Central and easily accessible to most landmarks, metros, and places of interest in the city. It's tucked away in a quiet little street which adds to the comfort of the experience. The rooms and beds are very comfy as well! Working outlets at the bed, comfortable and clean bedding, and a very cozy setup, even in a room of six.

I wish we had a little bit more storage space in our rooms - if I was travelling with more than a carry on suitcase and a backpack, I would have struggled with the space offered. This hostel does not offer bathrooms in each room unfortunately, and while the common bathrooms are spacious and have all that you need, I did find their cleanliness varied from day to day.
