Randles Hotel was fantastic the rooms were great the staff were exceptional, loved the location just a short walk into the town.

Only thing i didn't like someone was doing some maintenance at 6.30am on Saturday morning we really load and woke half the floor

The most comfortable bed I've experienced in a hotel in a long time. Also, perfectly set-up for business travellers with great working space, a very comfortable chair and tea/coffee making amenities. Also one of the nicest showers with great water pressure and lovely toiletries.

The room is not the most sound-proofed so there was a lot of activity to be heard first thing in the morning. This didn't disturb me too much as I was there for work and up early anyway. But if I had been there for a break it might not have been as pleasant to wake up to.

Where do I start. Absolutely outstanding. Amazing. Myself and my partner just came back from our weekend away at Randles. We booked in for her birthday on 7 June until the 9 June. We stayed in room 118. Firstly the room was beautiful. Spotlessly clean and lovely decor. We had dinner on Friday evening and the food was sublime. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make the special occasion a memorable experience. Unfortunately I don't have everyone's name but special thanks to the gentleman at reception when we checked in (apologies I can't remember your name but you know who you are) Sean, Marie, Isaac and Alan. Also the Chef and all the kitchen staff and waiters, and everyone else at Randles. Much appreciated and thank you for such a great stay. We will be returning on 3 of January. I've already booked. We stayed in the townhouse, separate from the main hotel. Room was quite large/spacious, bathroom very nice, shower in bath a bit weak although plenty of hot water to be had. Fan provided to move the air through the night. Oddly the heating kicked on in the early morning??? Odd for June, great parking, the street noise / traffic was not excessive and the main hotel food/dining was excellent. About 300/400mts between the two, staff were very good attentive and helpful. Plenty of fresh linen and toiletry. Would recommend and stay again. Killarney is like any tourist destination, prices reflect the venue.

Quiet and comfortable. We were staying in Killarney for six days in the middle of a month-long trip and needed a home base. We got a suite and it was spacious, comfortable, and had a great view. Ideal for our needs. The building is historic so even though there is a lift there are also small flights of stairs that need to be navigated here and there. Restaurant was good. On-site parking was perfect for our needs and plentiful.

Don't expect too much from the included breakfast. Some breakfast items were good others not so much.

Location is excellent - a 5 minute walk from the centre of Killarney. We stayed in a double room the first night and it was perfect except for the fact that the noise from the Muckross road was really bad. There was a car rally on in the town the weekend we stayed so it was a continuous stream of cars revving and backfiring as they went up the road. It was non stop until about 4 am and started up early enough the next morning. Along with this, there seemed to be work being carried out on the hotel or a building nearby so despite the fact it was a Saturday morning, we were woken to a loud drilling noise from about 8 am. However, I spoke to a woman at reception (Marie, I think) who was extremely helpful and understanding and she arranged for us to move rooms, to the opposite side of the building, ensuring no further disturbances. She was extremely helpful. The room we moved to was a King as all the double rooms face the Muckross road unfortunately.

The location of the double rooms are all facing the Muckross road - therefore, you run the risk of noise late into the night. This was obviously heightened the weekend we stayed, with the rally. However, the king room we were moved to was facing a courtyard and therefore there was little to no noise,.

A lovely hotel, the highlights were the comfortable bed and the delicious breakfast. The restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful, you really felt welcome. The bed was so comfortable and you could so easily sink into it. It was a perfect location as a short distance to the town, but far enough away to avoid the crowds!

The noise of the road every night wasn't great - only caused by one or two individuals tearing up and down the main road around midnight which woke us up every night. The swimming pool area wasn't great, paint peeling off the ceiling, the sauna didn't feel like it was working, all around the pool area it felt like it needed a lot of TLC and a good paint! Parking was also quite tricky when we arrived but somehow managed to get the very last space thankfully.

Location staff and value for money all excellent

Disabled access is terrible. No ramp and stairs to lift. Not wheelchair friendly.

The place is full of character, and the layout of the hotel is really interesting with the stone terraces looking out over a beautiful view, cosy atmosphere with delicious food and very professional but also friendly staff. This provided a great overall ambiance to our stay which we really enjoyed.

UHT milk, I know that’s every hotel but this place has so much character with everything else, a wee jug of fresh kerry milk to match the offering at the restaurant, just enough for last cup of tea at night and first cup of tea/coffee in the morning, no need for fridge (ice?)👌😴

Room was quite big, very nice bathroom, both very clean. Conveniently located at walking distance from town center (about 10 to 15min) but we could not hear the road from our room. Private parking outside and inside, easy to find, easy to park, and friendly staff.

No A/C in the room, so we needed to let the window open even in May. Sound isolation is really not good, so you can hear other rooms quite well (people watching movies, couples fighting, drunk tourists, etc. - each night a different experience). Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise. Breakfast is a bit overpriced.
