Lovely stay here...comfortable, clean and adequate...in a great location to INEC

So disappointed to hear that a week later, after our stay, the premises has now been taken over for all male asylum seekers.. So no longer will I book a room in this establishment in the future.. nor will my family or friends who are frequent visitors to Killarney...utterly disappointed..

This is a great hotel. Plenty of off-street parking (and more in the back, behind the building), big room, hot shower with excellent pressure. Complimentary coffee and tea in the room. Comfy bed. Friendly, helpful staff (special thanks to Lucia!). Breakfast was included by default: the Irish breakfast really touched the sides, but there are also other, lighter, options. In the neighbourhood: five minutes walk, a brewery with nine of their own beers and stouts and pizzas. If pizza's not your thing, there is a great restaurant and bar two minutes walk from the hotel. Great food AND draught beer. Heaven!

All good!

Very good location. Near enough to walk to the Killarney Brewing Co & sample their output, and just about manage to stroll back the 200 yards or so to the hotel. Generally the room was very quiet, apart from the occupants in the room directly above deciding to be quite annoying with dragging things around (God knows what) for too long and at random times, even after midnight - that was not the fault of the hotel (unless they had a storeroom above!). Hotel was easy to find aided by the obvious signage.

The people up above.

It was very comfortable and convenient. The proximity and distance of the town centre is great as well. with a good breakfast

My stay got off to a Trouble start with the confusion with the property next door with the same name which they used to own. Which now houses refugees, so imagine walking in with my luggage and their staff, wondering who I am, where I’m from and who sent me which is the question I was being asked over and over. After a bit of back-and-forth and a slightly flustered me, stressing that I need to check in. They realised it was the property next door and I was redirected. I then had to wait another 10 minutes to get checked in. I’m not going to lie, I was worried, but they turned it around. And I had a very comfortable stay.

It is in a brilliant location and having parking outside the door is really great. The staff were absolutely fantastic. We were there for the bikefest and the hotel was very busy but really well organised, quick check in, very welcoming. Breakfast was great, big choice and everything full - we were mid sitting and a lot of hotels don’t re stock cereal and orange juice etc. which was great. We had a big Irish breakfast which was well cooked and not greasy - really delicious. The manageress who checked us in was also there at breakfast making sure things were ok - I unfortunately never got her name but she is great at her job.The room was nice and geared for tourists not people living in the room for the weekend. It was very clean and comfortable.the bathroom was spotless. We hope to be back next year all going well.

I had no issue. It is a mid market accommodation and well manage, welcoming, clean and good value for money.I enjoyed my stay and has no issues.

Marguerite is everything an old school lovely Irish hostess is but at the same time has adapted to modern times seamlessly. Her house and manicured gardens were a peaceful respite for me in Skibereen. My room faced the lush back garden which was very pleasant and calming. Her breakfast was to die for and there were so many extra choices including: fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, granola, a traditional Irish breakfast made to order, fresh coffee and a selection of teas and fresh juices. She was extremely welcoming, pleasant and kind. I enjoyed our conversations immensely! There was also a very comfortable and homey sitting room to enjoy at your leisure and when I arrived she offered me a cup of coffee which was accompanied by her home baked delicious fruitcake. It really does not get better than this folks.

Location was perfect, it was easy to walk in and out of main town area. Shower was strong and nice and hot. I really liked the staff, the lady at the front desk was really nice and chatted with us. I liked the old pictures of Killarney on the walls, I would come back just to look at those again.

The heating stayed on all night and even into the morning, and I couldn’t turn it off. It was too hot. Also the breakfast was really bad. Food not good, coffee not good, tea was ok. Bread not fresh. But there were nice cafes nearby so not a problem really.

We believe Harmony Inn-Glena House to be a great find in Killarney Town. We were traveling entirely by public transport and the hotel was close enough to the city center that we could easily walk anywhere we wanted. Two of the days, we made the short walk to Wild Atlantic Way tours to see Dingle and the Ring of Kerry. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and generous.

Was over with my brother for the Horse racing festival. From getting a wonderful greeting from Kayan,we had a fantastic stay in Killarney. The hotel is very nice, clean comfortable and there's a good choice for breakfast. Its walking distance to both the racecourse and the town centre. Will definitely be staying here again next year. Also special mention to Lucia, who also looked after us too. So glad the weather was good on the Sunday, the views of the Macgillycuddy reeks from the racecourse were breathtaking. The pubs, bars and restaurants were amazing. Everybody we met were so welcoming.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space.

On the morning of the check-out (11 am), I couldn't leave my luggage at the Inn (I was supposed to leave town in the afternoon), because they told me that no one would be there after 1 pm. It was a mild inconvenience, but it seemed odd that the Inn would be unattended on a Sunday afternoon
