The breakfasts were good, although the coffee was awful, bitter, luke warm and tasted cheap. The staff at the spa were very helpful and chatty, the lemongrass in the sauna was perfect. Room was comfortable and tidy. The water tap in the lobby for refilling your water bottle is an excellent idea.

Loved location and proximity to local shop and amenities was super. Room.511 was very spacious and comfortable. Marian in the breakfast area was a breath of fresh hair, very helpful and chatty, great ad for Bord Failte and Killarney.

Arrival receptionists were not overly pleasant, no smile or greeting?? This was quite different on departure and different receptionists were very pleasant . Room 511 could have done with a toilet roll holder and big part of shower head was not working. Room well equipped for wheel chair access however. Food in bar area was just adequate on the eve of our arrival and staff not overly friendly , more business like.

The hotel decor is very plush. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were celebrating a family event. When the staff became aware of this, a treat was left to mark the occasion in one of the rooms, which was much appreciated. The food was tasty.

I was surprised that there was no air conditioning. We happened to stay during one of the very warm spells this summer (2025). 11 of us ate in the bar. There was a long wait for our 1st drinks order, despite it not appearing to be busy. Some of us had a delicious prawn pil pil dish, which came with 1 piece of bread per person. When I asked for more bread to soak up the delicious sauce, I was told there would be a charge, and then traditional brown bread arrived at the table. I told the waiter this was no good, and we were not charged. The bar stopped serving with no warning.

My partner and myself stayed here from the 6th to the 8th June for her birthday. We stayed in room 308 and I have to say what a magnificent hotel. Bedroom was beautiful. Spotlessly clean and everything we needed provided. The entire hotel is amazing. Stunning décor and spotless. Staff were amazing. Super friendly and helpful. They even put a little gift in our bedroom whilst we were out for my partners birthday. They also sang her a happy birthday on the night when we finished our meal and brought out cake with candles lighting. It was a brilliant surprise. The food I have to say is gorgeous. On a final note I have to say that all the staff are a credit to this hotel. They made our weekend and we will definitely be returning.

The staff was super friendly and helpful in giving us great recommendations on where to eat out/go for drinks in town. Breakfast at the hotel was great and included access to the buffet and extra options from the kitchen (pancakes, avocado toasts…). There was free parking and we were able to leave the car for three more hours after checkout. The walk to the city centre only took a few minutes. The rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The interior was well designed throughout the whole hotel. A very enjoyable stay overall.

Some features in the rooms might need a bit of maintenance (heaters, toilet seats…) but nothing major.

Room was spacious, comfy and clean. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast choice and display was good, only downside was the coffee wasn't very nice, but that's not the end of the world! The Bar was great, good atmosphere and choice and it was super easy to get to the town and the sites. Would definitely stay here again.

The coffee and there could have been move choice on the TV for channels and use – we couldn't get the screen mirroring to work with our iphones – again, not a deal breaker, but would be good for future stays

Great location, 13 minutes walk to the town centre. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed is super comfortable! We got upgraded to luxury King which was a beautiful large room. The bathroom in this room was gorgeous and had a lovely rainfall shower. Staff are super friendly and attentive which made our stay all that bit better.

Rooms expensive. Rooms quite warm but fan provided. No mini fridge in rooms and smart TV didn’t connect to our phones. Leisure area could do with some sprucing, same with the hotel in general. Beautiful decor but appears a little worn out which takes away from the luxurious feel of the hotel.

This is the best hotel we stayed at during our trip around Ireland. We really enjoyed our stay at the Dromhall hotel and Killarney itself. Everything was just right. Beautiful building, beautiful interior and an extremely well presented and comfortable room. The staff were very friendly, relaxed but super efficient. The whole atmosphere of the place was great. We also liked the bar facilities, lovely area to relax. Breakfast was exceptionally good. So sad when we were leaving but, we had to move on. We will be back though.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about the Dromhall Hotel. If we could we would live there.

It's walking distance from INEC where I needed to be for the weekend. The neighborhood is lovely, there is a gas station with a nice grocery store right across the road. The property itself is spotless clean and quite stylish. My room was small but had everything I needed - kettle, ironing facilities, great shower, comfy bed. The water bottle and tea supply were refilled daily. Loved the breakfast, and for other meals there is a good bar & restaurant in the same building.

Location great.. only local noise from boy racer car ..making noise during early hrs of am..passing up and down the road. Breakfast was lovely..pool staff,he was so helpfull and welcoming ,I was with my brother with sp needs...and We appreciated how we were accommodated... Dinner in kaynes was lovely...waiting staff were very professional...and friendly .... Makes you feel at home ...

We understood you could book in from 3pm On arrival at 340pm ... We were told our room wasn't ready We were Bit surprised ...and shortly afterwards told Our room is ready .. I feel if it states check in from 3pm... Room should be ready.. Otherwise push out checking in time ....
