What a gorgeous view from our family room! We were welcomed by a friendly dog and a sweet host, Ilean. We were given extra linen upon request. The host was very accommodating. I found the bed comfortable. It was wonderful sleeping with the windows open, getting fresh night air.

While the host was very kind, the breakfast left something to be desired. Again, a gorgeous view while eating and charming setting inside. However, there was a fly in the food. When I went in the kitchen, there were a number of flies. Thus, we passed on breakfast the next day. I know her intentions were good. She just needs a good fly zapper!

What not to like? I can't think of anything. The property is set on a hill overlooking the bay, the view from our bedroom was fabulous. Eileen, who runs it, could not be more helpful although her time is more than shared with running the farm. The breakfast was excellent, the scones have to be mentioned as exemplars of their type. Half an hour's very pleasant walk down the road and along the coast took us to the Pink Elephant restaurant for dinner, which was excellent too. If you do walk you need to prepare for country roads and remember to take a torch to signal your presence after dark.

Nothing. This was holiday bed and breakfast as it should be.

The view from our window was worth the price of admission. Just a picture postcard. Room (#4) was clean, fridge and hot water teapot were handy, bed was comfortable, good shower. Eileen must be the hardest working and most industrious woman in Ireland but maintains a cheery demeanor and pleasant disposition. She communicates ably. Also makes a mean omelette - breakfast was tasty and and the layout tasteful. Ballinspittle is a hop, Kinsale a skip, and Clonakilty a jump away. Also a small but nice beach nearby for when the weather is smiling 😎. A splendid place. Caution: local dogs are fiercely jealous so you must give love to all or a K9 snarlfest will ensue.

Leaving so soon.

Eileen greeted us warmly on our arrival & was a lovely host for our 1 night stay. She recommended a great local restaurant for dinner which we appreciated since it was a Monday & many were closed. Terrific breakfast that even filled up my 2 teen boys!

Wish we could have stayed longer! Room 2 was very homey & had great views of the sea & pasture for cattle. If I'm being picky, beds were softer than we're used to but that is personal taste.

Eileen is a gem. Went above and beyond to make it a pleasant and comfortable stay. Seriously, I can’t thank her enough for her hospitality and for going out of her way for me. Very much enjoyed chatting with her. The BnB is in a breathtaking location. I almost felt I was looking at a painting half the time… and that it was not real. The cows and horse are alot of fun. Highly recommend and definitely want to stay here again.

Eileen is an amazing hostess providing a warm and friendly environment for a visit to the Kinsale area. She shared incredibly helpful information on what to see and do and where to park in Kinsale. Her restaurant recommendations were wonderful and she happily made reservations for us. Her home is very comfortable and the breakfast fabulous. the view of the sea is beautiful. Eileen is also so lovely to chat with and embodies the warmth and friendliness of the Irish people, not to mention she could be a stand up comic. I highly recommend Seafield Farms.

We really enjoyed our stay although was a little more remote than I anticipated.

Our host Eileen could not have done anything more to make our stay better. She is outstanding. A large room with a view of the ocean and the family dairy cows in the fields. Eileen took our breakfast order each morning, and the eggs and sausage and pancakes were all very good. She welcomed us to visit the barns to see the calves and watch her doing the evening milking. The family and neighbors' dogs and cats made you feel right at home. We are happy we picked this B&B near Kinsale.

A great place to get away from it all. You need a car to get around as the farmhouse stands on its own with beautiful views out to the the bey across open fields. The accommodation is simple, but comfortable. Eileen and her niece who was helping when we stayed - were wonderful. Full of of smiles and Irish hospitality. Breakfast was great, as was the freshly-made coffee.

Nothing really. We knew that it was a bit remote, so that was no problem.

This B&B is located on the quiet roads of the Irish country. The B&B is located on a working dairy farm. We happen to be there during the calf season and were able to visit the calves and see the milking operation take place. The view from the farmhouse is worth the drive. It is a spectacular view of the grasslands and water. It is a very peaceful place where the hostess is exceedingly friendly. Breakfast is fantastic. It includes fresh scones as well as a full Irish breakfast with cereal and fruit. The view from the breakfast room is spectacular. The room also affords a view of the resident pets ( duck, chicken, rooster, cats, dogs, etc )

Its a little difficult to get there since the roads are narrow

It was a wonderful experience to stay at Seafield Bed & Breakfast. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, the friendliness of helpful Eileen, witnessing the daily workings of the dairy farm, the quiet and calm rural area and the views of the sea field.
