Sarah on reception was so helpful. Her knowledge of the area was a great help to us on our first trip to Dublin. A clean and comfortable room which was well furnished to a good standard. The Arlington is beautiful , its ornate entrance guarded by two lions, the front doors are stately and the general interior has an elegant and classic charm. The large chandeliers adding to the ambiance.
we only had one problem, are room faced out onto a small lane that had a bit of a noise problem. People sat there smoking and chatting loudly whilst on their breaks. At 4 am the very large glass bin gets rolled slowly and very loudly past. generally noisy day and night.

The room was a good size for four people, and the beds were very comfortable. There was unlimited coffee and plenty of windows. The location is excellent, close to the historic center, a supermarket, and many restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant with live music every night. It’s very lively. We had a lot of fun. We only stayed for one night but enjoyed it a lot.
The bathroom was very old and not clean. There was hair in the bathtub. I like bathrooms to be very clean. The sink had hot and cold water, but it wasn't possible to mix the two. I didn’t like the bathroom, but for one night, it was ideal because of the location.

The location is the best. You are so close to everything and have so many options around you for shopping and eating, etc.. The lobby is cozy and comfortable, and the restaurant and bar are top-notch. You can get a fantastic meal and a wonderful beverage and enjoy nightly entertainment.
For the price, the location and the experience this is a fantastic hotel. Booking into an older location you know that it comes with charm and quirks, and as long as you’re willing to laugh and smile through those, you will have the best stay.

The Arlington Hotel is in an excellent location for visiting places of interest in the city. The staff are friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient. The bedroom was very comfortable and the tea/coffee facilities were of good quality. The breakfast was excellent and the manager in the breakfast room seated us quickly. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our breakfast.
Just a small negative - there were two of us staying in a twin room, but there were only 3 of each of the following: teabags/coffee sachets/sugar. However, we did ask for more when needed and the staff happily provided it.

Arlington Hotel is a real find! Superb location and right in the heart of the city centre. Great facilities and comfortable accommodation with great food and drinks in the restaurant/bar at the street level. Live entertainment every night was also welcome. Awesome access to everything Dublin City has to offer and the public transport is easy to access. All while being responsibly priced.
Our room was showing its age. Bathroom facilities were dated but everything worked. Purely cosmetic but could use some updating soon. Very comfortable but a small refrigerator would also be helpful

Location was great, on opposite side of the river to the hustle bustle of Temple Bar. Easy to walk across to within a few minutes. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, pillows were a bit hard. Shower was tricky to work but once I figured out the taps it was a good shower. The staff on check in were great as we arrived earlier than check in they were happy to keep out luggage while we explored the town, they then carried our large suitcases up the stairs for us to our room, which I was very grateful for as I wouldn’t have been able to do this alone.
I didnt realise that there was only stair access to the rooms (make sure you ask for a room that has lift access if this is an issue for you), the back rooms do have lift access. The front rooms (like I had ) are quite noisey from the hustle bustle across the river. I imagine the rooms to the rear of the building would be quieter.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to all the main attractions, Temple Bar etc. The hoitel is lively with a bar which has a band on every night and downstairs there are celtic nights at an extra cost, which we went to and thoroughly enjoyed. We had a room at the back of the hotel so weren't bothered much by noise. The breakfast is good. Staff went the extra mile for my friend and cooked poached eggs on request every day we were there.
The hotel and the rooms are a little tired and could do with refurbishment. If your room was closer to the front of the hotel it could be very noisy.

Thee room was very clean and comfortable with all the usual facilities. Breakfast was very good we had full Irish breakfast and the food was excellent. The dining room staff were exceptionally supportive and helpful.
There was a lot of noise on the outside from the HVAC units which did not stop, but it does not detract from the fact that the rooms were well aired warm and comfortable. Because the noise is constant you get used to it.
