I'd not stayed in a hostel for a maybe 30 years (I'm 58). But if there all like this I'll start using them more often. Great price. Great location in the city centre on the quays. The staff were very helpful and explained how the place worked. I was in a room (access by swipe card) with four bunkbeds and a shared bathroom. All very clean. Bed & sheets etc were fine - you make the bed yourself. There is a lockable steel cage under the bed which is big enough for a large rucksack/small suitcase. But you need to bring your own lock, so I used the pay-for lockers in the public area on the ground floor (perfectly safe). The large common area has free tea & coffee, fridges for your own food, a large area of seating & tables, sofas and a tv. Everything went very smoothly. No problems with the 3 others sharing our room.

It was all fine.

+ location is fantastic right in the centre of Dublin + my dorm room (10 bed female) on the 4th floor had a great view over the river Liffey and the city + the bathroom in the room was quite nice and separated in toilet and shower which is necessary when being for 10 people; it's nice to have it in the room but only works if the roommates get up at different hours and it can be noisy

- the room was quite cramped, not a lot of space - only one hanging in the toilet room, NOT ONE hanging in the shower room (please put at least one in there) - they offer free milk but only dairy (in the year 2024 in a capital city centre?)

The hostel is large, the room large enough to hold all the people and the bed comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff, the location is very central to the Temple Bar neighborhood, this allows you to move around easily and visit all of downtown Dublin. Also nice is the common room, full of places, which promotes socialization

The bed was a little squeaky, but nothing really annoying. The en-suite bathroom on the one hand is a convenience, on the other hand it reduces privacy a bit. Even this, however, is not really a fault, more a matter of personal taste

This was a nice place to stay during my time in Dublin. The linens kept me warm and the facilities were clean. The staff was friendly and professional and the location is very convenient. It’s located right by temple bar, close to lots of dining and activities. The bus from the airport drops off less than 5 minutes walk from the hostel. There is an elevator for people with mobility limitations.

The price is pretty high for a hostel, but everything is expensive in Dublin so I can’t really complain. The street is a bit loud when there are things happening on the street outside. The kitchen area lacked a fridge so only shelf-stable groceries could be stored, no leftovers.

The 8 person room was great, people were pretty happy to be in Dublin and there was little enough commotion at night. The ensuite bathroom was preferable to the set up of most hostels. And I think having us bring down our bedclothes after use is probably a great way to save money and make it crystal clear when a bed has been vacated. The location with this hostel is pretty much everything. It makes it so easy to enjoy Dublin. There are even great bars and clubs literally nextdoor.

The common area was mostly pretty calm aside from Friday and Saturday nights when a hostel could be a place to go if the incredible party atmostphere of Dublin gets overwhelming, instead people watched the French version of Jack Ass loudly, so there was no place to receive a calm recharge. Other than that the place was great.

Location is excellent, two supermarkets only 20 or 50 meters from the hostel. In front of the hostel (literally) plenty of bus lines and intercity lines, the zone is known as well for nightlife. Staff is very good. kitchen is excellent, very clean and the ovens (2) and cookers (2) are almost new.

Some 8-bed rooms don't have hooks to hang jackets. Also, there is no enough space in them. you can't put your suitcase, it's impossible (only if somebody has a smaller one, medium and large suitcase doesn't fit). In fact, some of the 8-bedrooms are expected to be 6-bedrooms, but they put two bunk bed more. it's obvious not only because of the available space, but because two beds were put in front of the walk-in-wardrobe as well, and it can't be used.

Located in the heart of Dublin, we did not even need to use public transport to go around the city centre. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious so it does not feel like people disturb each other. Lockers (metal cages) are a huge plus, too. Kitchen facilities are in good shape, only wondering why it "closes" so early.

Personally, we lacked curtains for beds, served breakfast (even if for additional cost), and better showers. Otherwise, a great place to stay on a budget.

Perfect location within minutes' walk to all attractions and essential places to see. Buses to and from the airport stop just outside the building. Some rooms have a lovely view of River Lilley. There are sockets and small lights near every bed, which was so convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hostel has a very inclusive, welcoming vibe.

The only downside was a bunch of drunk, filfthy, absolutely repulsive pigs I had the misfortune to share my dorm with... They even stole my flip flops! I felt sorry for the staff who had to clean the mess those pigs left behind! In general, though, I really recommend this place. I just hope you happen to have decent roommates.

Excellent location. Plenty of space to hang out and meet others in the common area. There's also a kitchen that is kept nice and clean. There's even multiple sinks, stoves, and ovens so multiple people can cook or wash up at the same time. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Wifi is very good, with plenty of places to charge devices. Nice diversity of guests. No long-term stays (also a negative)

Room 46 is very sunny but also can get hot, even with the windows open, especially in the morning. Shower was hot, but did not project: it was like a waterfall against the shower wall. Single bathroom for 8 people is difficult. Seagulls sound like dying children and can be jarring. Bring earplugs--central location means it can be loud outside. No long-term stays (also a positive)
