Great spot right in the city center! The room was clean. The bathroom was nice and tidy (even though it was shared by 11 other roommates), but bring your own shower gel as they only provide hand soap. You can get a towel from reception for 1 euro, which is handy. The bed was comfy with clean sheets, and I appreciate the USB c charger built into the bed (remember your EU adapter if needed). There's a small kitchen area where you can whip up simple meals, perfect for saving some money. The location is really convenient, especially if you have an early flight. You can catch the 16 Airport bus at 6:10 AM near Trinity College, or take the Dublin Airport coach just across the bridge. Both are an easy walk away. Overall, it's a good choice if you want a clean, central place to stay without breaking the bank. Just remember to pack your shower gel and maybe a towel if you don't want to rent one. The kitchen and great location make up for the few missing amenities. I'd stay here again, especially for the perfect city center spot and easy airport access.

The beds weren't very comfortable, especially the bunk beds. I stayed for one night, and while it was manageable, the small gap between the bunks was an issue. If you're tall like me, you'll find it difficult to sit up on the lower bunk without having to lean your head out.

The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time and they provided all the assistance needed for a first-timer in Dublin. Very good if you travel with friends and book an entire room for all of you. That was not the case for me tho, I travelled alone and my choice was the 8 bed mixed dormitory which somehow got instantly "upgraded" when I checked in so I got the 6 bed mixed dormitory for the same price, not bad! The location of the hostel is very good if you want to explore the city center and surrounding areas. The bus station is literally at the entrance and if you come from the Airport you need to get off at Aston Quay. Stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of February and the room was very warm all the time, you can open the windows if that's too hot for you. The water pressure and the temperature was very good. Tip 1: Bring a padlock with you, you'll need it so you can secure your belongings in the metal basket which you'll find under the bed. Lockers are also provided downstairs but they will cost you extra, if you don't have anything really really valuable like laptops, jewelry or stuff like that, the metal basket secured with the padlock is more than enough! Tip 2: If you wanna party, don't drink in the area,, the beer and everything is big time overpriced (8-10€ for a pint) and if your father is not a millionaire you should go to The Silver Penny which is only about 10 min walk and the beer and the food is VERY AFFORDABLE for everyone (MAX 5€ a pint) Personally I give the hostel a strong 8 out of 10.

They could improve the doors on the rooms so they don't wake up the whole floor when you open and close the door because no matter how quiet you try to be, the doors are making a lot of noise. The next suggestion is a little bit more privacy while you stay in bed, something like a curtain which covers the side of the bed so you can use your phone or read a book during the evening without disturbing the whole room because of the light.

The staff were extremely courteous and knowledgeable of a huge variety of attractions, tourist and local. The rooms and common areas were always very tidy. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the very heart of Dublin. Countless options on where to eat, which museums and exhibits to check out, multiple bus routes including various tour buses all within a block or two of the hostel. To anyone visiting Dublin, I highly recommend staying here! I will most certainly be returning.

The bathrooms were a little small, but not terrible.

VERY friendly, professional and helpful staff. I asked for a bottom bed and this could be reserved when available. Although the location can get noisy from outside traffic and people, the overal impression was that of quiet order and cleanliness. Kitchen and eating area/lounge are kept spotless. Staff gives helpful information about places to eat and practicalities when visiting. Rooms and en suite bath are cleaned daily, although the bathroom needs attention. Overal impression is that the place is well-run. Bunk beds have individual light and power sockets and a planchette. Matresses are clean and thick enough.

The bunk beds. Chief drawback is they are "communicating", instead of insulated. Meaning that when one person moves, the other one (above, below) feels it or moves too. You also can't sit up in the bed below without touching the bed above when your back is longer, which requires a bit of contortioning sideways whenever you need to get out. And there are no curtains or partitioning to give one some privacy when in bed - or potentially disturbing other sleepers when you switch the light on at night.

Location very good, transport all close to hand. The kitchen and communal area all one space, since that is all that is available. Then so be it, however that means there is no choice of quiet space. It did seem that reception were playing over system what they chose…loud music doesn’t blank out other music or volumes, it simply makes it something to escape. So maybe that works for the staff! Cleaning staff diligently kept kitchen scrupulous, even with some visitors having less than desirable cleanliness manners….. So thanks for that….. and a coffee/tea available, thank you! I had a very comfortable stay and hope to return in the Spring. Thank you!

No quiet area and it did seem that reception turned on what they wanted to hear and at high volume, which added to other volumes makes it an area to escape. So maybe that works for the staff

Great experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing stay at this hostel in Dublin! The atmosphere is super welcoming, with a young and relaxed vibe. The common areas are well-organized and perfect for meeting people from all over the world. The rooms and bathrooms were always clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to give great tips about the city. The location is also excellent, close to public transport, pubs, and tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable stay in Dublin!

Can't say enough good about this hostel. Dorm rooms, showers and toilets cleaned twice daily. Free milk. Kitchen constantly monitored for cleanliness and tidied. Very well located, on the Liffey. Steps away from the inter city bus stop. Close enough to Temple Bar to stroll there but not so close that the noise would be an issue. Convenience store a few meters away and a bigger grocery store less than 15 minutes away. Lovely, friendly staff. Non squeaky bunks. Lockable storage under the beds. Lovely, bright common room. I could go on.

Hard to think of anything I didn't like.

I'd not stayed in a hostel for a maybe 30 years (I'm 58). But if there all like this I'll start using them more often. Great price. Great location in the city centre on the quays. The staff were very helpful and explained how the place worked. I was in a room (access by swipe card) with four bunkbeds and a shared bathroom. All very clean. Bed & sheets etc were fine - you make the bed yourself. There is a lockable steel cage under the bed which is big enough for a large rucksack/small suitcase. But you need to bring your own lock, so I used the pay-for lockers in the public area on the ground floor (perfectly safe). The large common area has free tea & coffee, fridges for your own food, a large area of seating & tables, sofas and a tv. Everything went very smoothly. No problems with the 3 others sharing our room.

It was all fine.
