The Moxy's location is excellent for getting around Dublin via public transportation as it is at the nexus of both the red and green tram lines and major bus lines traveling east-west and north-south and steps away from Dublin Express bus stops for getting to and from the airport. Further, being just north of the Liffey means you'll be just outside of the crowded, tourist-filled streets of the Temple Bar and Trinity College districts while still having easy access to the sites and restaurants in the city center. A bonus is Piper's Corner just across the street where you can hear Irish traditional music nightly and enjoy reasonably priced pints.

Good location in terms of central, but not the nicest part of town. Close to the tram system and easy access to the city. Really nice vibe in the hotel. Good energy. The room was clean, modern and functional - but needed a room desk for laptop work etc. Downstairs communal area was really good except nowhere to have a conference call

Area outside the hotel was a bit rough. No desk in the room. Nowhere to have a conference call downstairs. Other than that - pretty much fine.

The location is fantastic, the day staff are wonderful and friendly, the room is a very good size an the bed is super comfortable, we loved the breakfast which is very affordable and had a good choice.

The gentleman who let us in that night about 11.15pm was unfriendly, no hello or goodnight, just asked a name and nodded us in while looking most uphappy, not a good welcome, also, the gentleman on reception was bored, however the lady working in the bar was lovely. I think the food/drinks in the fridge are beyond expensive, €7.50 for a bottle of Corona, €31.00 for a bottle of wine, there is no reason for these prices , absolutely none, the mark up on these products is unacceptable.

Amazing location, easy to use lockers for before check in/after check out, staff friendly.

I have to say the price i paid for just 2 nights was fairly extortionate (believe due to location), even though location is good it still is steep, despite all the positives I wouldn’t stay here again just due to the cost for 2 nights etc and the room facilities were limited, only 2 tea bags for a 2 person room, no mini fridge which would have been nice as could get extremely warm and my chocolate melted and water became room temp and not nice to drink etc.

Location was perfect, hotel & room was lovely, clean fresh looking. Staff were friendly, we arrived after midnight with flight delays but we were still greeting at the door when we did arrive.

If anything out free drink on arrival we couldn’t change to a soft drink because we both don’t like gin. Also we didn’t realise the hotel provided breakfast because in the ad it said light snacks so we had already booked breakfast somewhere else then came downstairs to see people eating breakfast so would of been nice for the receptionist to say about breakfast and times etc but other than that everything was lovely thank you.

The hotel is in such a great location and is within walking distance to everything. The hotel is situated down a side street off of the main route, and this was found to be quite nice as you didn’t have the noise of the main square. The hotel was super clean and we arrived just before 9am and our room was already ready which was amazing! We were able to go straight to our room and have a rest before venturing out. We didn’t eat at the hotel but we did redeem the free cocktails and also had another drink there. The bar was lovely and had a great atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Dublin.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Overall aesthetic is modern and quite funky so it makes for a nice change to most Irish hotels. The light sensors under the bed are a great touch and the MUK haircare products in the shower were top class. Now when we visited, Dublin was experiencing an amazing hot summer September day so walking into the room the already fully cranked AC was a dream.

The checkin area is a bit of a mess when it’s busy, nobody really knows where to line up and the space is quite narrow to navigate to get to the elevators if there’s a few people with luggage clogging up the area. We had a queen sleeper room and there were 2 pillows between us and no spares bagged up in the wardrobe area like you’d normally find because there wasn’t even a wardrobe. We didn’t mind that so much as it felt like they cut back on furniture to create space which did work. Also there was no information pack in the room about the hotels services/amenities, I tried to find them online but the site isn’t easily navigated. Maybe include a QR code sticker somewhere if you didn’t want to print info packs for each room.

the room was amazing and the location was perfect

on the first day of arrival we asked to pay for the room on a different card to the one we had booked (it was pay at the property) which we had been told earlier and then again once we checked in was fine. So we paid for the room with the other card. however at midnight that night I had several texts from my bank saying the payment had been taken out for the room on my card. this then could have left me with no money for the holiday. lucky we were able to use my boyfriends card to pay for things but if I had been alone this would have left me with no money for the holiday as the price of the hotel was taken from both my boyfriends card and mine. this was obviously refunded onto the card after several days but such a pain to have to deal with

A very well-located hotel for my purposes. Central, but surprisingly quiet considering. Funky-looking public areas with very friendly staff at check-in/-out. The room was more conventional, quite large and very comfortable.

The breakfast was rather meagre. Very cheap scrambled eggs, but practically all hotels serve these now. Also the pillows weren't to my taste - rather solid foam rubber jobs. For the rates they can charge in central Dublin these days, you'd have hoped for a slightly more classy experience where these two factors are concerned.

Great location, each to reach Dublin centre. Rooms were clean, modern and spacious.

Within 10 minutes of checking into our room we had a leak in the bathroom with water running down the wall behind the mirror. We were moved to another like room. It would've been nice to be offered a bigger room/upgrade for the inconvenience. The ironing room was handy and understand why irons weren't in the room. Tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms is an essential! We were very surprised there wasn't any in the rooms at all given the price you pay and is surely an essential in any hotel!
