Loved that we were just out of the city , but close to the city via public transport. The tram is just outside the door! We caught the tram and walked around the city and TempleBar. (It is about a 30 min if you walk ) Some good pubs/bars close by to the hotel. If you are attending an event at the Arena, it's opposite the hotel. Parking was under the hotel and was reasonably priced. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Bed was comfy and room spacious. We had a large shared balcony/deck space outside our room accessible via double sliding doors, which was really lovely to sit on and drink our morning cuppa. (NOTE: It was like Melbourne docklands , a little quiet, but close to (things and) public transport!)
Out TV was cantankerous and didn't play... the staff came up and fixed it on both days of our stay.. This was not a problem as such , as the staff were able to fix it.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Got me a late morning check in when I arrived from another country very early. The best thing about it is the public transport right out the front door, a tram of some kind that takes you right into Dublin. And of course if you were seeing a show at the arena, it would be an ideal location.
Roms are mediocre at best, not fancy. The whole place feels quite vacant, not all that nice at all, especially for the price. With no show happening at the arena Nextdoor, it's pretty dead out there and the room is a bit on the cold side, hard floor, nothing very fancy for the money. Not worth the cost and not very nice, really. The spa is also a bit of a joke, the sauna is barely warm enough to sweat in at all and the whole area I think is more for show than it is a real amenity.

Fantastic hotel, super friendly staff, lovely spacious, modern rooms which were spotlessly clean & had amazingly comfortable beds - I often struggle to sleep in hotel rooms but had no issues here. Breakfast was delicious too plenty of choice & items replenished regularly. The Gibson Hotel is perfect if you're attending something at the 3 Arena (as we were) which is directly opposite the hotel. The LUA/tram stops outside the hotel & is about 6 stops into the centre of Dublin. There is an odeon cinema, a few places to eat & drink underneath the hotel we were floor 3 room 336 at the back & had a lovely little court yard as our view, which was super quiet. The hotel rooms start on floor 3 so I don't think there would be any noise from nearby facilities unless you sat outside the bar on the balcony. Highly recommended - would love to stay here again!
I asked a woman on reception how to get back to the airport using public transport- she gave very vague information which proved incorrect, not useful when yiu aren't familiar with the area.

Love the location and that the Luas runs directly to the city centre so frequently from right outside the hotel, very comfortable and spacious room
Wifi access drops completely when you use the outdoor terrace on the 3 floor even though you are still in the hotel and using its facilities - remedying this would make a huge difference to overall experience For over €200 a night I was really surprised that there was neither a safe nor a small fridge in my room, I was travelling for business and had a 4 night stay - this meant every time I left the hotel I had to bring all my valuables and tech devices with me for security reasons which was really inconvenient and usually very unnecessary on all other business travel I do around the world

The location was excellent - close to the port tunnel, convenient (and discounted) parking and a Luas stop right outside the hotel for ease of travel around the city. The hotel and room was immaculately clean and well configured. The shower was excellent with lots of space and plentiful hot water! The staff were very helpful and friendly when needed but unintrusive which, along with the spaciousness and airy feel of the hotel, made for a very relaxed stay. A very broad choice and good quality options for breakfast; again, a very spacious and open dining area allowed for a calm start to the day! I would happily stay here again for the convenience, cleanliness, and open, relaxed feel of this hotel.
Happy with everything! If I had to be picky, I think better coffee facilities at breakfast would improve the experience.

Always have a great stay, Really friendly staff and they go out of their way to please. Clean rooms, spacious and good showers. Comfy beds ease of check in and check out.
I liked everything this stay but to give some feedback. The bar. Man in the bar needed someone else working with him and he was stretched and flat out. Wait was about 10mins for a drink and think barman done his best and even had to contend with some customers pouring their own and sinking it when he was serving us. If he had more support that wouldn't have happened. It was hard to regulate the heating in the room and the room was roasting keeping us wakened at night with the heat

The room was huge, with a double bed and a single bed. The location of the hotel is perfect. Far from the city center noise, but meters away from the first Luas tram. The breakfast was good value for money. Staff at the breakfast room is very nice and helpful.
We missed the expresso coffee on the first days of our stay. And there was a TV show being recorder in the hotel, that changed the regular functioning of the hotel, but nothing serious. We missed the fried eggs at breakfast.

Very clean,location
The AC was loud but we kept the window open and there was no need to turn in on The staff was excellent except ONE,a restaurant employee.we stopped there for a coffee and the gentleman was excellent BUT the guy pouring a beer was NOT. I was watching the beer flowing and the foam and he snapped : are you looking at me ? I was so surprised by his demeanor (ugly face, mean)that I didn’t know what to say beside: no I was watching the way you were pouring the beer.He didn’t respond and walked away without a smile or oh I’m sorry. I hope you’ll do something about it because it was a very awkward moment.PLUS why would have I been looking at him having my handsome husband by my side? I believe this happened on our last nite late afternoon early evening so you easily trace who the guy was.

Great location with Luas at the door. Helpful staff and friendly. Not ott just right.
No trays in restaurant to carry breakfast items.Practicality of multiple trips to and fro from table particularly for a solo traveller not allowed for. Closing down escalating stairs after 1am. If someone is claustrophobic and does not like using lift they could trip on roped off stairs. A lack of any visible night time presence of staff or security at entry ground or 3rd floor. Not good for security of hotel or guest. Price a little too high Sun to Thurs €160 per night. Should be €125 midweek max.

As others have said, the hotel is not in the true center, but there is a tram stop right in from to take you anywhere easily. It is also a pleasant 20-25 minute walk along the river to the heart of Dublin. The property is still relatively new, very well kept, excellent breakfast, large bar, a very nice "relaxation room" and lots of helpful people! Room size is more than adequate, not giant, but larger than many Irish hotels. Modern equipment in the room and well designed.
The staff, the breakfast, the beds, the relaxation room, the friendliness in general. Location suited our needs. Quiet even though it is across from 3 arena and there was a concert when we arrived.
