Fantastic hotel, super friendly staff, lovely spacious, modern rooms which were spotlessly clean & had amazingly comfortable beds - I often struggle to sleep in hotel rooms but had no issues here. Breakfast was delicious too plenty of choice & items replenished regularly. The Gibson Hotel is perfect if you're attending something at the 3 Arena (as we were) which is directly opposite the hotel. The LUA/tram stops outside the hotel & is about 6 stops into the centre of Dublin. There is an odeon cinema, a few places to eat & drink underneath the hotel we were floor 3 room 336 at the back & had a lovely little court yard as our view, which was super quiet. The hotel rooms start on floor 3 so I don't think there would be any noise from nearby facilities unless you sat outside the bar on the balcony. Highly recommended - would love to stay here again!

I asked a woman on reception how to get back to the airport using public transport- she gave very vague information which proved incorrect, not useful when yiu aren't familiar with the area.

The room was huge, with a double bed and a single bed. The location of the hotel is perfect. Far from the city center noise, but meters away from the first Luas tram. The breakfast was good value for money. Staff at the breakfast room is very nice and helpful.

We missed the expresso coffee on the first days of our stay. And there was a TV show being recorder in the hotel, that changed the regular functioning of the hotel, but nothing serious. We missed the fried eggs at breakfast.

Very clean,location

The AC was loud but we kept the window open and there was no need to turn in on The staff was excellent except ONE,a restaurant employee.we stopped there for a coffee and the gentleman was excellent BUT the guy pouring a beer was NOT. I was watching the beer flowing and the foam and he snapped : are you looking at me ? I was so surprised by his demeanor (ugly face, mean)that I didn’t know what to say beside: no I was watching the way you were pouring the beer.He didn’t respond and walked away without a smile or oh I’m sorry. I hope you’ll do something about it because it was a very awkward moment.PLUS why would have I been looking at him having my handsome husband by my side? I believe this happened on our last nite late afternoon early evening so you easily trace who the guy was.

Great location with Luas at the door. Helpful staff and friendly. Not ott just right.

No trays in restaurant to carry breakfast items.Practicality of multiple trips to and fro from table particularly for a solo traveller not allowed for. Closing down escalating stairs after 1am. If someone is claustrophobic and does not like using lift they could trip on roped off stairs. A lack of any visible night time presence of staff or security at entry ground or 3rd floor. Not good for security of hotel or guest. Price a little too high Sun to Thurs €160 per night. Should be €125 midweek max.

Wonderful stay! We stayed in a Superior Room and loved how the double screen door size window looked out on a private faux courtyard bamboo tree setting & that the window opened at the top so we could enjoy the fresh air. The manager was wonderful and changed out our mini fridge (it was HOT!). It DID take 24 hours for the mini fridge to get cold. My spouse was very happy to experience the GLUTEN FREE breakfast area of the buffet (bring your own toast sleeves if you want to toast your bread). The same manager took the time to listen to my concern about OAT milk in the GLUTEN FREE area. He was insistent that OATS are not gluten but checked with the chef who had him remove the OAT milk since it did not state GLUTEN FREE. However, the OAT milk was back the next dates. OATS were there as well, and not stated as IRISH oats. Ireland was not as easy as we thought to be GLUTEN FREE and this was another place, although well intentioned, that did not have a clear understanding of a gluten free diet. OATS are NOT gluten free, unless grown in Ireland, due to crop cross contamination. The beds were incredibly comfortable and shower magnificent. DUNNES large grocery store next store and many other shops nearby. Easy tram ride to all the town stuff. We stayed here at the end of out 3 week travels and wish we would have stayed there, as well, at the beginning of our trip, rather than our very expensive airbnb. Unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of work out room and sauna area.

Very close to the docks and easy to find. Excellent transport links - especially using the Leap Visitor Card Good breakfast. All in all, a very comfortable stay. A couple of minor problems in the room were sorted out promptly.

Having to pay 16 euros a night parking, although this is a reduced rate for hotel guests. Having grapefruit in the water at breakfast. So many medications now advise against any grapefruit consumption - perhaps the company could take note of this?

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is beautiful. The room was very spacious and the food was good. It is in a perfect location with the Luas stop just outside. Lovely atmosphere around the square outside too.

Only a minor observation but as a visitor to the hotel for the first time, some information at check in would have been helpful. I used the self service check in but in hindsight this but me at a disadvantage as a first time guest as it meant I had to find the wifi code, bar, breakfast area etc for myself. A few signs just detailing what facilities are on which floors would be helpful.

We stayed her twice as part of an Ireland vacation. We stayed once at the beginning of our trip and again at the end. One night each time. We loved that it was so close to the train/public transportation (right outside the door) and that the rooms were comfortable. There is everything you need. We traveled with my 6 year old daughter and had a double and single bed. Loved having mini fridge in room. Also, safe clean parking for €16 a night. Right next door are food options and a market. Perfect for snacks. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate at the restaurant on site and it was tasty. Showers were huge with waterfall showerheads.

Honestly can’t think of anything? The automated water machine on the 6th floor was out of order but the rooms had 4 bottles of complimentary water so that more than made up for it.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. It was well stocked. The hotel itself is ideally located for anyone attending the Three Arena or intending on catching a ferry (as we were). There are lots of restaurants in the hotel and locally and secure underground parking (although a little expensive at €16 for overnight parking); to be expected for city locations, I guess. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice place.

It's a city hotel so, even though we had a small balcony in our room, our view was across the street to an apartment block. The other thing was the lack of an openable window for cool air. There was an air conditioning unit but (1) I prefer fresh air and (2) the constant sound of the AC unit tends to keep me awake. There was only a door to the balcony which could not be left open.

Greatly looking hotel, both from the outside and the interior. Stuff was VERY responsive and super friendly. The location is great for getting to the city center with the tram as well as getting to the airport (Dublin Express bus departs closely).

The room we had suffered from some design flaws. There was only one light in the bathroom, which was VERY bright -- and illuminated the whole room through a "window" to the rest of the room. Also, the shower door did not fully close. There was also no coffee machine (only a water heater with instant coffee packages).
