I had a pleasant stay at the Anantara Marker Hotel in Dublin. The food at the Forbes Street Restaurant was excellent, and breakfast was equally impressive. The gym, spa thermal area, and pool were luxurious and well-maintained, providing a relaxing experience. My facial treatment at the spa was top-notch, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable with a nice atmosphere in the lobby and common areas. While my room wasn’t ready upon arrival, I appreciated being allowed to use the spa and changing room.

However, there were a few downsides. The service could have been a bit more polished and warm, particularly considering the five-star rating. I was also disappointed by the bathroom amenities, which weren’t as complete as expected. One serious concern was that I returned to my room one day to find the door open, which created a security risk and caused some panic as I had to check all my belongings. Despite these issues, the overall experience was enjoyable.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bathroom was perfect with a choice of waterfall shower or bathtub. The restaurant was great and had a wide selection of food and wines to choose from and the bar in the lobby had a varying menu of cocktails and alcohol to suit everyone’s taste. The spa facilities were excellent however we did notice a discarded cup of water that had sat in the steam room for the two days that we visited so it made us wonder how often these facilities were cleaned.

The room lighting wasn’t great, at night time especially my girlfriend found it rather difficult to get a decent lighting spot to do her makeup so bringing a ring light or lugging your facial care and make up to the bathroom might be the best option. The room view was in all honesty not great. We appeared to face inwards and had a view of the other rooms of the hotel and some of them appeared to be in a bad state with cracked windows or dirty curtains some of them appeared to not even be in use with empty rooms and uncovered mattresses, for a 5 star hotel I was expecting a better view if I’m honest.

We were incredibly happy with our stay at The Marker and would consider staying there again when we return to Dublin. The hotel is beautiful. Its contemporary style is very interesting, and it is centrally located. The staff (check-in, waiters/waitresses, concierge, housekeeping, spa, bar) were all extremely professional and wonderfully helpful. Kudos! The roof top bar was a blast. We had plenty of craic there! In fact, that is where we became acquainted with one of your assistant bar managers, Bradley Owens. He got us a great seat in the rooftop bar and recommended some wonderful whiskeys. He is a very personable, cheery lad who made us, and I am sure all of his guests, feel quite at home at The Marker. He is an exceptionally good employee. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We are looking forward to returning.

We stayed the first night in Merrion Dublin, due to the fact that it Merrion was no. 1 on Trip Advisor, undoubtedly Merrion has a charming location, in a very respectable district, also with a beautiful internal garden, but apart from that, we do not regret that we chose Anantara for our next stay, because the stay was wonderful, different but also great - extremely comfortable room, great beds, beautiful bedding, royal bathroom, very nice service, plus a view from the window of the modern part of the city and the docks. Great place and stay1

Nothing, this was a perfect stay.

It’s not often you encounter someone who is not only exceptional at their job but also genuinely caring and compassionate. You are worth your weight in gold, and we are incredibly thankful for everything you did for us. If I had to imagine from now on a dream hotel where I could stay during my travels I would certainly think of the Anantara in Dublin. What was missing? Absolutely nothing. I felt pampered in every detail starting from the transfer that they kindly provided me. They "put up with me" when my plane was 3 hours late and promptly notified the transfer and changed the dinner time. I would have gladly moved to the room I was given, beautiful and spacious overlooking the theatre. The food is exquisite, whether we are talking about the restaurant or the rooftop and both are absolutely worth trying, because they are different and wonderful things in equal measure. At the restaurant I tasted international cuisine, the cooking of the meat was perfect, the grilled cauliflowers were delicious and then the dessert!! At the rooftop I was able to taste one of the typical Irish whiskeys and many other delicacies, I was even given a blanket since the climate was cold for me. The staff was super friendly. The spa area is well looked after and very relaxing. This hotel is perfection. On this trip of mine he gave me a fairy tale where gentlemen apologize to let you enter the elevator first, making you feel like a princess. Next time I return to Dublin I will definitely stay here again!

Exceptional. From the staff being very attentive, at both reception and breakfast service, to the overall quality of everything, this is the best hotel in Dublin (and I've tried every one worth talking about). The room was clean, modern, and very quiet, and the turndown service was both unexpected and very well done. Breakfast was first class in both setting and service (a special mention to Pedro, who couldn't have done more). The Rooftop bar cocktails (and staff) were also, sadly for my head and wallet, very very good. Excellent in every way.

One lift was out of order, which did make getting about a little tedious, but I can hardly fault the hotel for a mechanical failure.

We had a lovely stay at the The Marker. We arrived early at the hotel and the staff were super accommodating and helpful. The facilities were great, the spa and pool area were a lovely space to unwind. The room itself was a great space and again was clean and modern. We made use of the bar and restaurant, the food and drinks were great. Overall a lovely stay.

Only a small suggestion, the roof top bar and concept was a really nice touch but I did feel it needed cleaning and modernising slightly. The paint from the chairs actually peeled off on my leg as we stood up and it wasn’t hot weather or raining. But other than this, everything was fine.

An Unforgettable Stay at The Marker Hotel, Dublin As my family and I were transitioning back to Dublin from abroad, we found ourselves in need of a comfortable place to stay for the night. Traveling with pets can often be challenging, but The Marker Hotel not only welcomed us with open arms, but they also extended their hospitality to our furry companions in the most remarkable way. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the hotel's stunning architecture and chic decor. The ambiance exuded sophistication and warmth, making us feel right at home. The staff greeted us with such professionalism and friendliness, seamlessly handling our check-in while showing genuine interest in our journey. What truly set The Marker Hotel apart, however, was their exceptional pet-friendly service. Our pets were not just accepted; they were celebrated. The hotel's chef prepared special treats for them, a delightful touch that warmed our hearts. Additionally, they provided comfortable bedding and a litter tray, all thoughtfully delivered to our room. This level of attention to our pets' comfort was beyond what we could have ever anticipated. The room itself was a haven of luxury and comfort. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the elegant furnishings, was designed to provide an unparalleled experience. Waking up to the breathtaking views of Dublin was a bonus that added to the overall charm of our stay. The Marker Hotel's commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of our stay. Their staff went above and beyond to ensure not just our satisfaction, but that of our pets too. The combination of their stunning facilities, exceptional service, and pet-friendly amenities truly makes this hotel a standout. It's not just great value for money; it's a priceless experience. We cannot recommend The Marker Hotel enough for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Dublin, with or without pets.

No comment, everything was great

Everything and all the in-betweens. We were celebrating our Wedding night and honestly it was perfect. From checking in all the way to checking out. We felt taken care of and all the details made our stay truly special. The treatment was exceptional and it was just lovely to experience. The room was beautiful and had amazing views, the food at the rooftop was lovely and the spa facilities was the cherry on top! I have nothing but good words. Thank you very much to the Marker Hotel and staff. Your kindness and service was incredible. My husband and I look forward to staying with you again.

Absolutely nothing.
